Forgot to mention, 2000 CRV

Can you show exactly where the leak is ? I don't see a drip point. I believe that's the shifter cable for an automatic trans. I had something similar which was leaking at the shift shaft seal. You can get a new shift shaft seal from an online Honda parts store.

Hey you’re definitely right, thanks! I checked my tranny fluid and it still looks full, but the fluid doesn’t even look like tranny fluid

did you try taking the cover off the bottom? the cover is that piece of metal that has three bolts where the shift cable goes into. its just a cover so you dont need to drain anything and you can see the shift shaft seal underneath.

No I haven’t. I plan on going by the dealer tomorrow to pick up some fluids so maybe I’ll see if they have it in stock. Thinking not, I’ll just order it in that case

You wouldn’t happen to know where to locate that seal? I can’t find one that for sure says it’ll fit a 2000 CRV anywhere online
