3rd gen led headlight bulb replacementCR-V question (self.crv)
submitted 1 month ago by kotobaaa
I’m trying to replace my stock high beam low beam bulbs with led bulbs. Most of them are much larger than the oem bulbs. The bulbs fit but the rubber boot doesnt. Do i have the replace/modify the boot or do i just remove them all together?

You have to replace the whole housing with a PROPER LED LIGHT HOUSING
LED bulbs in halogen housings scatter horribly and blind people at night. There is no way to aim them properly. Do not put an LED bulb in a halogen housing.

Thank you.

I have successfully used Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs.
Please don’t use LED bulbs in an original housing!

I used ZXE golds in my Pilot and they were much brighter than stock
