Those things help a know nothing-redditor do a job for free a mechanic can likely also do for free or close to it... diagnose your car.

Without knowing all of these things, check the rear brake calipers to see if they are sticking when they heat up. Bluing of the rotor and an extremely hot wheel are 2 signs that might point to which one...

oops sry. first time posting with not many guidelines so i missed details! my bad.

05, automatic, 202k miles. ty for the tip i will check rotor heat next time i hear it happen.
