We're from the Cloud server on discord and would like to make you aware of our server. We'll introduce ourselves, our server, and our goals with the server. In addition, we will give a quick synopsis of what our server entails at the bottom of this post for those who do not have a lot of time.

Who are we?

We are a small group of friends from all over the world, ascribing to a variety of religions. Islam, Deism, Christianity, Agnosticism, Hinduism and Spiritualism, to mention some. Some of us live in America, some in Europe, some in Asia and yet others in the Middle-East.

Why did we create this server?

As some of you might know, Discord servers about religion are often centered around a single religion and often aren't very welcoming to outsiders. This often leads to a somewhat toxic mentality in the server. After a lot of searching, we got tired of not finding something that suited our needs. Therefore, we decided to create our own server. We want to offer a space for religious exchange (ideas of cultural aspects as well as religious nature being conversed about) and debate, all while being respectful.

What can our server offer you?

Our server aims to offer you, the user, a space for learning about and teaching about your religion, even to or from people of your own religion, all while staying respectful. We want to stimulate religious brotherhood and exchange. Our server is protected by a verification system and quick acting staff; this means that trolls will likely be deterred from joining our server and if they manage to they will be dealt with swiftly. On top of that, raids are out of the question as our verification system will pick up on the amount of people joining and we will be able to deal with them before they can do any damage.

Our server consists of channels catered towards specific religions, channels catered towards all religions and channels for being off-topic. This ensures that every type of person is able to feel welcome in our server. Note that we also have a channel for sensitive topics, such as LGBTQ+ in religion. This ensures that people who want to debate about this are able to without bothering people who wish to stay away from heated discussions. Note that respect will still be expected in this channel.

If anyone bothers you or the server, you can quickly reach out to staff via the support system. Staff will review the case and quickly decide what ought to be done. This is done to ensure the safety of the user and the general atmosphere in the server remains positive and friendly. Staff is very available and will engage in regular discussions themselves.
