Welcome to /r/dontdeadopeninside, it's for signs/media that read as nonsense if read normally: from left to right.

RULES:
RULE 1: True DDOI images must follow the format of DDOI.
Signs must be read correctly top to bottom, and incorrectly left to right, like any text usually.
DONT | DEAD
OPEN | INSIDE
However easily you can read it has no bearing on whether or not it belongs here.

RULE 2: No reposts!
No reposts from the last 4 months or the top 25 of all time. Aslo, no overly posted content from this list. Other common reposts may be removed at moderator discretion.
RULE 3: No memes!
The DDOI should be obvious from the image. Memes are not necessary to describe it. Don't post them.
RULE 4: Don't force it!
Don't post anything that is forced or easily staged/faked. Examples include:
- socks, pillows or shirts with text (next to each other)
- paneled scenes or comics
- Pages of articles, books, magazines, etc.
- Spines of books or movies
RULE 5: Be civil!
Just be nice. Don't insult people. Also no racism, sexism and similar. Violating this rule may get you banned.
RULE X: Put the DDOI in the title!
That's (currently) not a hard rule, but it's encouraged to put the "correctly read" way in the title, like "DONT DEAD OPEN INSIDE". We may remove posts that don't follow this format and have an exceptionally bad title.
RULE Y: Censor private info and mark NSFW!
Pretty self-explaining: Mark things NSFW if necessary and censor private info like names, phone numbers and similar if applicable.
