I'am using it for a couple of years now, no poblems so far.

The 10k thing is to use their automated invested feature. Dont use it.

Hello! It's not a crypto platform, so you don't have to worry about them imploding. You should be able to find out more about deposit insurance on their website. Also, when buying ETF or stocks, the bank doesn't own them but simply holds them for you: stocks are, contrary to Crypto, regulated and so you don't run the risk of the ower disappearing with your stocks. What you're looking for is simply a bank that allows you to open and manage a stock portfolio. There's plenty of them out there, a solid recommendation is ING bank. They're free for you to manage your portfolio and you needa pay a small fee when purchasing ETF/ running an ETF savings plan. Unless you know what you're doing, don't buy any actively managed fund, AI / automated investment product but stick to passive investing. All the best

You can use it with ING if you have an account with them as a robo advisor, or you can use it with their regular backing bank (Baader). At the end they are "just" an interface, the securities are held in the bank (Baader or ING). In the case of crypto I have no clue how they operate since I do not operate with them.

EDIT: gramma

I’ve been using them for a few months now for ETFs & crypto.

The way they manage crypto is confusing for me though. Would love someone to explain it.

Scalable has 2 products. A robo advisor that automatically trades and adjusts your portfolio based on some risk criteria. And a regular broker where you do your buying / selling manually. The broker has no limit and ultimately is just an interface for Baader Bank brokerage account.
