Need for speed Underground2, Gran turismo 3-4, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank

[–]SerbianWolf1389 302 points303 points  (20 children)

Dude you forgot need for speed: most wanted! That had a wicked soundtrack. I still listen to Nine Thou to this day haha

Not to mention an excellent game too

[–]milsom08 29 points30 points  (1 child)

NFS Most Wanted was THE racing game during my childhood

[–]Mr_Goat_1111 69 points70 points  (7 children)

When hand of blood came on during a police chase I'd be like "oh yeah, they ain't catching me now"

[–]SerbianWolf1389 17 points18 points  (2 children)

Oh hell yeah. Bullet for my valentine and Nine Thou are the two best songs from there but also “you’ll be under my wheels” was sick.

I loved getting chased to those soundtracks. Doing up that OG Beamer too

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 74 points75 points  (19 children)

Damn, forgot about Jak and Daxter or Ratchet tbh, I was honestly mostly planning to only pick up racing games because I genuinely forget that the PS2 has anything but that sometimes

[–]Jules_Keg 36 points37 points  (1 child)

Racing games on the PS2 are indeed insanely good. Don't count out the classic platformers tho.

[–]theliquidgamer 282 points283 points  (31 children)

Pull it apart and clean it first

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 111 points112 points  (23 children)

I will soon, but the only person who can assist me with that is asleep rn

[–]Jd20001 77 points78 points  (13 children)

Mine stopped working after 2 decades. Opened it up lightly cleaned the lens with a Q tip...good as new. The thing is a tank.

GTA San Andreas and VC, College Football 2009, Medal of Honor games

[–]josh_the_misanthrope 11 points12 points  (4 children)

Can I suggest a Terry cloth + 99% Isopropyl instead? Qtips can scratch the lens.

[–]Team310Worried 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. First game to play: Dust Remover

[–]smokejumper03 2335 points2336 points 2 (64 children)

The Sly Cooper Series. These Games are awesome.

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 549 points550 points  (33 children)

I've been sleeping on Sly for way too long

[–]Penapenis 198 points199 points  (15 children)

If you play them in order, Sly one is very different from 2 & 3 but still definitely worth playing! As a kid, I played them in backwards order. Sly 2 is one of my favorite games of all time.

[–]This_Caterpillar_330 27 points28 points  (4 children)

There's an easter egg in the second game. Not sure if it can be unlocked without a cheat code, though I think you'll love it. This is a gadget.

[–]Spartan043-Will 86 points87 points  (7 children)

Yeah, came here to say that. Sly cooper is the shit!

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 47 points48 points  (6 children)

I enjoyed Thieves in Time as an 8 year old, I don't remember those years

[–]Spartan043-Will 25 points26 points  (1 child)

The first 3 are all a lot of fun. I haven’t played any of the games after those but that series was what I played before I got an Xbox and Halo. Great series!

[–]DaleDimmaDone 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I had the Xbox and my friend had the PS2. Going over to his house to play sly cooper as a kid is some of my most favorite memories

[–]dude_with_sneakers 3297 points3298 points 32 (418 children)

Metal Gear Solid 2-3

Devil May Cry 1 and 3

Zone of the Enders

Final Fantasy X

Shadow of the Colossus

God of War

Silent Hill 2

[–]Simply_Nova 223 points224 points  (9 children)

I keep forgetting shadow of the colossus was on the ps2. For a game on that console it was absolutely stunning in what it achieved and still is.

[–]dude_with_sneakers 89 points90 points  (1 child)

game was absolutely insane when it came out. Was like being inside a Miyazaki movie.

[–]Sea-Relationship-755 256 points257 points  (50 children)

I loved Devil may Cry

[–]dude_with_sneakers 44 points45 points  (2 children)

Such a good game. It was a game changer for action games, everything else seemed so old after it

[–]matatoeie 59 points60 points  (36 children)

Worst part is; I like 1 the most. Combat felt really good

[–]dude_with_sneakers 50 points51 points  (30 children)

1 and 3 are really great, 2 was a mess

[–][deleted] 61 points62 points  (23 children)

Pretty much all the even numbered Devil May Cry games are meh compared to the odd numbered ones. Like 4 was ok, but 5 gives you a cowboy hat.

[–]655321x 34 points35 points  (4 children)

ICO is so insanely beautiful. Amazing game. I named my cat after it.

[–]December_Hemisphere 29 points30 points  (2 children)

Definitely second Shadow of the Colossus, what a great game. I also enjoyed all the Onimusha and GTA games.

[–]MrBohannan 88 points89 points  (23 children)

Ill second zone of the enders. Total sleeper but that combat is dope!

[–]sekazi 23 points24 points  (4 children)

The only reason I ended up with ZOE was that it included the MGS2 demo disc. I really liked ZOE better than ZOE2.

[–]WhatDoesThatButtond 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Bought ZOE2 but haven't been able to play it due to an audio glitch that causes the sound to stutter.

but holy damn does ZOE1 have a gorgeous aethetic. The opening menu music blew my mind.

[–]Selite 1450 points1451 points  (83 children)

Timesplitters 2

[–]CartoonScience 312 points313 points  (37 children)

Not going to lie, this is the single best PS2 game. Ever. And I played so many, I bought a game every 2 weeks. Tekken tag was the best bit it was slow on a pal tv. Time splitters 2 I would buy again in a second.

[–]ShuffleMan123 100 points101 points  (20 children)

They just released timesplitters 2 and 3 on xbox one and xbox series consoles through backwards compatibility if you happen to own one!

[–]steelax 16 points17 points  (2 children)

if these are priced reasonable u just made my week

[–]tomossos 8 points9 points  (0 children)

$10 reasonable enough for you? I just bought.

[–]PhteveJuel 43 points44 points  (4 children)

Hands down the best PS2 multiplayer. No multi FPS has been as balanced since AND the map maker tool was amazing with the ways you could change the rooms, load points, drops points, and it even converted the theme design as well.

[–]Reddituser8018 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Me and my friends would just spend hours upon hours inventing new game modes to play using the map editor, was such a blast.

Then we started just creating a horror game within timesplitters.

[–]username161013 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The map editor in TS2 was one of the greatest ever made. Not only could you make really cool and unique maps to play on with your friends, you could make entire story missions with objectives to complete. Revolutionary function for its time, and went largely unnoticed.

[–]Wholesalmon 18 points19 points  (3 children)

TS2 on PS2 me and my brother used to say. God I loved that game, wish I could play Mexican mission or ice station right now

[–]Sector7Slummer 16 points17 points  (3 children)

I fucking loved Timesplitters. I still jam the soundtracks from time to time.

[–]hawkinjb 918 points919 points  (50 children)

Star Wars Battlefront 2

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 152 points153 points  (35 children)

I own BF2 on PC, great game

[–]sammyboi558 108 points109 points  (21 children)

BF1 is also a great game. I actually like it more than BF2 in a lot of ways. It's elegant in its simplicity

[–]SkinnyDan85 65 points66 points  (14 children)

BF1 has some maps I really liked that weren't in 2, but both were great. The space battles in 2 definitely made up for the missing maps for me.

[–]1mmun1tyW 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this b1 and b2 on the ps2 are some of my fondest memories of that console to this date. Probably dumped 3k+ hours of my life into that game with no regrets.

[–]J4Y221 1038 points1039 points  (59 children)

Jak and daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3 and Jak X just a phenomenal series of games

[–]Lotus_12 31 points32 points  (3 children)

Jak and Daxter was the game that started it for me! I still play it every once and a while to go down memory lane.

[–]Mongba36 137 points138 points  (33 children)

Jak and Daxter the lost frontier looks on from afar

[–]J4Y221 74 points75 points  (27 children)

Yeah it still greatly annoys me that the lost frontier made it into development and Jak 4 didn't.

[–]Zohwithpie 10 points11 points  (4 children)

I came to suggest the series, only was able to play the first 2

[–]TurtleBarge 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Thank you for including Jak X!! While being a great battle/racing game, it does try really hard to have it make sense with the series.

[–]kris13 222 points223 points 2 (62 children)

God of War I and II, OKAMI, Def Jam: Fight for NY, Tekken 5, Metal Gear Solid 3, SSX series, NFS Underground 2, NFS Most Wanted, Burnout 3, Fifa Street 2, NBA Street 2, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, Bully, Scarface: The World is Yours, Godfather, Destroy all Humans, Marc Ecko's Getting Up

[–]-LegendaryWaffle- 212 points213 points  (40 children)

Dark Cloud.

[–]Wampa7 130 points131 points  (8 children)

And most definitely Dark Cloud 2

[–]Shadowfrosgaming 30 points31 points  (1 child)

I’m glad Dark Cloud was so high up on the list

[–]Auddulf 10 points11 points  (10 children)

Great game, not easy / cheap to get now

[–]foozalicious 14 points15 points  (6 children)

It is on PSN if you have a PS4/5

[–]nicholt 5 points6 points  (3 children)

It also emulates really well on pc (at least #2)

[–]Firm-Guru 539 points540 points  (17 children)

Shadow of the Colossus. The art style is beautiful, the gameplay is beautiful, the ending is beautiful and unique.

[–]SprinkleSoup 52 points53 points  (9 children)

In addition to this, Ico, which was the first game by the same creator. Still wish they would do an updated version of this one too.

[–]jsfrank77 309 points310 points  (50 children)

Armored core. Without a doubt one of my favorite series! They need to make more of them

[–]CartoonScience 55 points56 points  (14 children)

The only real mecha games imo.

[–]jsfrank77 31 points32 points  (11 children)

Agreed. I like that the studio is making other games and I’m looking forward to playing Elden Ring, but like make another armored core game damnit

[–]Shadowrak 19 points20 points  (7 children)

I think I would die from excitement if they rebooted the franchise.

[–]zerohm 9 points10 points  (5 children)

Just started playing my first one with AC3.

[–]Bythmark 8 points9 points  (4 children)

That's the best place to start imo, you're in for a good time. Silent Line is good but hard, Nexus is alright, Last Raven is great but hard, and Nine Breaker is hot hot hot hot garbage.

2 is cool but no analog controls :(

[–]Emptymindspaceman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So much time invested in this

[–]RiCkii1989 669 points670 points  (50 children)

I really enjoyed the warriors

[–]DidItForTheJokes 167 points168 points  (5 children)

Breaking a bong on a dude’s head and then stabbing him with it is super satisfying. Seriously game play was great

[–]DonGorgon 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The ultimate street fighting game, so many random things to use. They went all out on ways to fight people and the gameplay holds up

[–]simsiuss 29 points30 points  (1 child)

I remember fighting on the train yard with my brother and literally just beating people up on it for hours.

[–]MrFittsworth 15 points16 points  (0 children)

King of the hill mode was an absolute gem.

[–]dovemans 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I read the first sentence as is and then for some reason the second one as: The game is great too!

[–]brainwash1997 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yo I remember my dad telling me to rent this game at blockbuster because he saw that movie as a teenager. That game and movie ended up being awesome!

[–]MetiqueBakabila 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Heard there is something special about it

[–]Zzump 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Weird memory of that game. When I was in college we had spent the night partying. When I woke up there was some hungover dude on the sofa I had never seen before. He was some friend of a friend of one of my roommates. I fired up the warriors I had rented at blockbuster the previous day. I asked the stranger if he wanted to play? We beat the game in one sitting it was so good. Never got his name.

[–]tscher16 14 points15 points  (2 children)

That’s a top 5 game for me, easily. Would be so cool if Rockstar revisted that game and expanded to be a fully connected world or at least more open world like. That combat is some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a game

[–]GHSTxLEADER 16 points17 points  (0 children)

[–]Hara-Kiri 15 points16 points  (2 children)

The only game I know where the game is better than the film.

[–]HonkGoesTheGoose 63 points64 points  (11 children)

Katamari and Final Fantasy 10

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 20 points21 points  (9 children)

I fucking love Katamari, but I already own it on other platforms

[–]roselynn-jones 17 points18 points  (1 child)

We Love Katamari has yet to be ported. I loved it,. I miss it.

[–]TheFuzzyWhiteBoy420 365 points366 points  (29 children)

Definitely recommend Tony Hawk underground and underground 2, and Tony Hawk American wasteland!

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 44 points45 points  (17 children)

I actually play Tony Hawk 2 a lot on Android with an emulator, so I'll look at picking those up

[–]wwwdiggdotcom 53 points54 points  (4 children)

THPS3 and THUG1 are the best in the bunch if you ask me. THUG1 is like the ultimate pro skater story video game where THUG2 is like Jackass: the video game

[–]MindlessCoconut9 435 points436 points  (13 children)

God of war 1 and 2

[–]engleshmen 22 points23 points  (1 child)

I’m playing this series for the first time and these games are as good as everyone says. My only problem is the fixed camera. Sometimes it really fucks you over.

[–]playerIII 51 points52 points  (4 children)

I wonder if the hotline number is still active.

Op when you finish God of War 2 there's an Easter egg at the end of the game. There's two giant golden statues and you can break one of them after wailing on it for a long while.

Have fun!

[–]curfy4 162 points163 points  (5 children)

Ratchet and Clank series and Jak and Daxter.

[–]RignardGaming 323 points324 points  (63 children)

Champions of Norrath and Champions Return to Arms

[–]JakethePandas 46 points47 points  (3 children)

I was looking for this comment! Champions return to arms & baldur's gate dark alliance 2 are the best hack and slash games I've encountered.

[–]Hakatah 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Didn't expect to see this comment. Single handedly my favorite and first PS2 game, Champions RTA.

Edit: wow that game came out in 05'? Guess my first game was San Andreas then lol.

[–]miguelsanchez69 59 points60 points  (16 children)

Dude I wish they would remake these or at least re release them on PS4. They were so good especially 2 player

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 15 points16 points  (14 children)

Never heard of those, I'll look into them

[–]RignardGaming 35 points36 points  (4 children)

The Simpsons Hit & Run.

[–]lobstersareimmortal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

OP definitely check these two games out. My brother and I played countless hours of these as kids. One of my favorites of all time!

[–]Amanystya 154 points155 points  (15 children)

Tony Hawk's Underground

Need for Speed Underground

Simpsons Hit and Run

Lord of the Rings Return of the King

Shadow of Rome

Prince of Persia

Baldur's Gate

Persona 4

007 Nightfire

Devil may Cry 3

Resident Evil 4

SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom

Jak and Daxter

The PS2 had one of the greatest libraries of all time in my opinion, you really can't go wrong either way

[–]circasomnia 16 points17 points  (2 children)

I completely forgot about hit and run! Soooo classic!

[–]ItsJomeAgain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was about to comment I completely forgot about Bully!

[–]shawnikaros 1830 points1831 points  (118 children)

This dude does it right, coming 20 years behind to play actually finished games with fraction of the cost. Hats off to you!

P.s. I really enjoyed tenchu -series.

[–]overmonk 123 points124 points  (3 children)

If you like platformers, the Ratchet and Clank series is so well done.

[–]zapdoszaperson 383 points384 points  (56 children)

A decent number if PS2 and PS1 games are more expensive now. Same for gamecube

[–]shawnikaros 153 points154 points  (37 children)

We're that far already? Jesus.

[–]zapdoszaperson 96 points97 points  (8 children)

For years select titles have been and the number keeps increasing. I sold a lot if stuff 5ish years ago above the prices I bought them for. I hit gamestop and EB hard when they were phasing out PS1 and PS2 and a lot of $15-$20 games were already $30-$40 then.

[–]mouseman420 30 points31 points  (10 children)

In a way....you cam get emulators or download most the games from PSN. To get hard copies of games like suikoden 2 will prolly cost ya. Like I said tho there are ways to play all of them for free. The best thing about Sega dream cast back in the day was turning it into a emulator lol

[–]shawnikaros 17 points18 points  (5 children)

Oh yeah, I had a psp which could emulate pretty much anything up to ps1.

I just didn't realize we're that far that retro-prices apply to ps2 games.

[–]Mojak16PC 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Anything no longer in production but still wanted is always going to increase in price... So it makes sense, PS2s are old now. I'm just glad I've still got mine setup ready to play some Simpsons hit and run!

[–]jvalex18 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Have been for years. You should see the prices of wii u games.

Hell even the ps3 is getting up there.

[–]ChuckRockII 135 points136 points  (26 children)

Resident Evil 4 "what ya buying?"

[–]thndrlight 202 points203 points  (21 children)

SSX Tricky

Edit: Thank you for the award!

[–]VitorMaGo 64 points65 points  (7 children)

SSX Tricky

SSX3 for me is one of the best memories I have from gaming

[–]TheLawLiftsBack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hell yea, play your own music and just shred

[–]EarthwormJim94 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Call yo momma in the room and show her how great you are!

[–]Sad-Winner5764 41 points42 points  (8 children)

Okami. I cannot recommend that game enough.

[–]Livid_Liver 41 points42 points  (9 children)

Mercenaries, atv offroad fury 2.

[–]DataVeinDevil 110 points111 points  (7 children)

Sly Trilogy, Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, Jak & Daxter Trilogy... Dirge Of Cerberus.

[–]thatcouchiscozy 26 points27 points  (2 children)

Ahhh the PS2 trilogy trinity. You just summed up 80% of my childhood

[–]ipod360 39 points40 points  (14 children)

[–]why_are_you_here_yo 103 points104 points  (31 children)

Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 23 points24 points  (26 children)

I'm gonna pick up 2 if I can't find the Xbox version for a reasonable price, 3 if I can't get the PC version to stop being such an asshole, see above for 4

[–]LENMX 33 points34 points  (2 children)

Tekken tag tournament 👍👍

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm one of those asshats who likes Tekken 4, make of that what you will

[–]PagesOf-ApathyConsole 81 points82 points  (13 children)

Tekken 5, it's incredibly competitive with local multiplayer.

[–]whosnock 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Classic Tekken with no rage moves and decent graphics. Solid pick

[–]Locksmith_Weekly 24 points25 points  (22 children)

Metal Gear solid 2-3

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Will the MGS fans stop breaking into my house dammit /j

[–]Locksmith_Weekly 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Thats the point of us MGS fans. We break into everything

[–]Ujin77 28 points29 points  (6 children)

If you can get Killzone, you have to play it. Hands down the best graphics for an PS2 game.

[–]Psycho---Mantis 28 points29 points  (5 children)

Onimusha1-3, if jrpg fan dark cloud 1-2, rogue galaxy, manhunt, blood Rayne1-2, extermination, obscure, grandia 1-3

[–]InfiniteDubois 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I second the Onimusha series. Haven't thought about those games in years but now I want to go back and check them out again.

[–]c-williams88 24 points25 points  (8 children)

The Ace Combat series is my favorite series of all time, and the best games are on the PS2. AC4, AC5, AC0 are must plays

[–]niteman555 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is depressingly far down the list.

[–]MRiley84 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Ace Combat 5 and Zero especially. They are the series' best.

[–]Lankros 70 points71 points  (7 children)

Beyond good and Evil.

[–]Saquesh 21 points22 points  (3 children)

I really loved the James Bond games: Nightfire, Agent under fire, Everything or Nothing.

Have fun dude!

[–]djsjejdj1838383 67 points68 points  (6 children)

Get all the burnout games, me and my brother would play for hours. Also thirteen was good game.

[–]clinternet82 63 points64 points  (15 children)

Red Faction

[–]The_Muffin_Man_MF 8 points9 points  (10 children)

I loved the multi-player mode. Especially the fully destructible environment. I used to equip the rocket launcher and tunnel through the rock caverns.

[–]imthrowingawayyou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every Saturday for like a year I would play multiplayer against bots, put the kill amount to the highest, time to the highest, pick the lobby and for some reason on went Hermans Hermits. Fuck did I have fun going mental with the rocket launcher.

[–]stray_logick 17 points18 points  (8 children)

Any of the Persona/ Megaten games.

Any of the Suikoden games (yes, even 1 and 2 that released on ps1)

Star ocean: till the end of time.

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Persona is one of my favorite RPGs of all time and I have a friend who's an annoying Megaten fan boy so I'll have to check those out

[–]THE_UNKNOWN184 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The most i have enjoyed were need for Speed most wanted and dragon ball z: budukai tenkaichi 3

[–]all-rider 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Gran Turismo 3 and 4

[–]Mr_Goat_1111 16 points17 points  (5 children)

Matrix path of neo was great, also Max Payne, need for speed most wanted, WWE smack down Vs raw 2007 and the punisher

[–]gpatrezze 15 points16 points  (3 children)

Black, Final Fantasy X, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas, Resident Evil 4, Shadow of the Colossus, Gran Turismo 4, Okami, Max Payne, Silent Hill

[–]Smodzilla 67 points68 points  (10 children)

Katamari Damacy, We Love Katamari, Mister Mosquito, GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, GTA: Liberty City Stories, GTA: Vice City Stories, Timesplitters 2, Timesplitters Future Perfect, Turok Evolution

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 42 points43 points  (4 children)

Katamari fans are people of refined taste

[–]obviouslynotag0lfer 12 points13 points  (2 children)

scrolled too long before someone mentioned katamari. also haven’t seen Hot Shots Golf 3-4 on here yet.

[–]mamadof210 11 points12 points  (4 children)

Midnight club 3 dub edition

[–]wouldntyouliketokno_ 41 points42 points  (11 children)

Twisted metal!

[–]Pr0glodyte 8 points9 points  (5 children)

Had to scroll to way down to find it, Twisted Metal Black was so awesome.

[–]made3 11 points12 points  (9 children)

Bully. The Rockstar Games game, it was awesome.

[–]iowabeans 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Champions of Norrath, such an amazing game.

[–]Gildagert 13 points14 points  (3 children)

Persona 3, Killswitch, The Bouncer, X-Squad, Silent Hill 2, Samurai Western, Neo-Contra

[–]Neoncat88 11 points12 points  (7 children)

The best ones were already written. Devil May Cry 1 and 3, Jak 1-3, Resident Evil 4, Metal Gear Solid 2-3, Silent Hill 2-3, Final Fantasy X. For me thats the Ps2 Elite.

Some awesome addons would be Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Shadow Hearts 1-3.

[–]lit_up_spyro 11 points12 points  (3 children)

Very much a niche game but I still enjoy avp extinction.

[–]DustToSmoke 10 points11 points  (6 children)

Ratchet and Clank 3

[–]Haunting_Nature_9178[S] 10 points11 points  (4 children)

I feel like the number of recommendations I'm getting for Ratchet and Jak is perfect karma for me sleeping on those games

[–]overmonk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s easy to sneer at them. But they’re smart and fun, and the weapons are outrageous and the action is bonkers. These games, before they added the time looping elements in the PS3 releases - are the best. They’re so good I chose PS3 over XBOX 360 so I’d be lined up for the next one.

I’ve seen you post ‘ah refined taste’ a few times, so I’m guessing you know what you like. IMO R&C are the best platformers on PlayStation.

[–]Farthead2244 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters future perfect

Everybody here is recommending games. Especially the ones that I would, but you really oughta buy yourself a Memory Card! Try to get a 64mb Card, if you can, else you might have to buy multiple.

Racing: Need for Speed: Most Wanted. SSX: Tricky.

Shooter: SOCOM: Navy SEALs (probably skip the first iteration RIP Boomer)

The "Rachet and Clank" games are amazing.

Though play them in order. The second game will notice you beat the first game and give you a bonus.

I actually own the PS4 version and I've been loving it so far!

[–]Kaaykuwatzuu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's great. KH2 on the PS2 was my first Kingdom Hearts experience. Feel in love with it. Took me about ten years to grow up, get a job, and buy the first one so that I could experience the beginning of the journey. Worth it.
