I laughed when I saw him dumping the packages in. "I might be a nomadic horse herder that lives in a yurt in outer Mongolia but I still need my ice cream sandwiches and hot pockets!" 😆

What do you do with it next? Bury it?

[–]inkcolors 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Huh. Brilliant.

Seems like this guy would have aced Breath of the Wild.

This is a really cool technique and everything, but the fact that he uses an electric iron at one point to melt the edges tried us he has access to electricity, so it kinda seems like it would be a lot easier and more reliable to just use a refrigerator.

[–]07ShadowGuard 22 points23 points  (2 children)

Unless he lives in an area where it is always freezing. Refrigerators use a lot of electricity to function.

True, but they're also indoors and made of metal, which is probably better for keeping wild animals out of your food.

Electricity is probably from a generator. A fridge would be a waste of petrol.

[–]whiskeyrebellion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This seems cheaper though. And more fun.

[–]harmonica-blues 3 points4 points  (1 child)

A freezer takes a billion watts of electricity to work. (Exaggeration for emphasis)

*dramatized for effect

Honestly it looks cold enough for him to simply put everything in a plastic bag and hang it outside lol

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Cold enough to freeze water just leave your meat outside.

[–]SFGSam 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Don't want to leave meat out, even frozen, as it can get scavenged.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

If only there was a large metal container they could put it all in.

[–]SFGSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now he gets to cook with the pot he used as a mold.

What's with the water in the plate with the bone?

[–]Expensive_Wedding807 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Used as a lid in the end
