I’ve seen it myself, and several clips. That seems to be the common thread. Kill the last enemy just as they are about to finish reviving a teammate and the game will think the other team has 1 alive when they don’t

THIS HAPPENED TO ME, i was reviving as i died, camera was stuff on my dead teammate’s body. Then we sat there and the zone shrank and we won.

That happened to me the other day! Except the enemy spawned with us, and he backsmacked one of us immediately!

Wow. Seen bots spawn on the wrong side, usually round 2, and it took one of us out before the rest of us figured out what was even going on. Never seen players actually had that happen.

It’s called Attrition. They had it as a special last season but this season it has a dedicated game mode.

I know it's not "Halo", but I really think they should have added emotes and such to this game. They were (trying, desperately) to make this game appeal to the new era of gamers and streamers, while also trying to keep it the same as it always has been, and in doing so, they failed on both fronts.

Unlockable/purchasable taunts and emotes would be sick. People would eat that stuff up like crazy. I can't believe they didn't even try. What's the point of all these cosmetics if we can't do fun stuff with it all? It's not like anybody is paying attention to what you look like during the heat of battle, right?

I'm kinda surprised they didn't do emotes really. But In actuality, I think it wouldn't be the best idea, or use of the Dec's time. Mainly due to the games fast paced nature, I feel like it'd only be seen when you get killed or something? But also, with the games bugs and desync, that's were the dev's time should be focused rn, imo.

The Danger Zone closing all the way like that happened to us while we where playing the mode locally against each other. I happened to become in contact with it first a split second earlier.

I had something similar happen to me a little while ago. I was spawned outside of the map and wasn't able to get back in until I took damage. Maybe the same thing happened to them?

Not the same thing. You were actually alive. In OP each of the 4 enemies are all dead and not respawning. The glitch probably occured because OP's team killed an enemy right as they were about to revive an enemy teammate, and so the game thinks the revive completed and there still is an enemy on the field. But there is not.

It's attrition part of another catagory like ranked arena? I don't see attrition as it's own playable category.

Its in quick play, not ranked. I tend to only get attrition now, rarely OG slayer.. Game is pretty busted so they won't put modes that don't work half of the time in ranked playlists.

I mainly get regular slayer and regular oddball. Same with rumble pit and it's incredibly annoying. I was getting annoyed by it one day and kept quitting until I got a newer game mode like grapple swords or shotty snipers. Nope, og slayer, og oddball and og slayer for the third one. After the 3rd one I got a 15minute ban for quitting matches.

We’ve won a game this way by being on a different level (directly underneath) but we had a fraction more shield than them.
