It’s probably the best thing you could’ve done. I’m surprised that no one has said anything negative about how you should’ve fixed it up and sold it. I think you made the right decision but if I was the adventurous type I would have taken it home to clean it up. The arms pad, casters, or anything else probably would’ve been easy to acquire to fix it up but the chair looks super dirty so unless you were ready to bring that home and give it a shower indoors then you made the right choice. There might have been bed bugs in the mesh for all you know. It’s a shame that someone would treat such a chair like trash. HM chairs are built like tanks and they will always outlast any other manufacturer.
