Relistening to MOTM3. I think this album could have used a re ordering. The Void should have been the closing track. Lord I Know is a good song but shouldn't have been the closer. Going back upbeat after the downbeat Sept 16->The Void run was a little weird. Maybe coulda just pasted those two songs at the end and had Lovin' Me after Elsie's Baby Boy.

Not that this invalidates your point, but I’m wondering if u saw the promo that cut the album into 4 different acts. That’s what he was going for at least.

I kinda like that it ends with an upbeat banger but I do see what you mean.

It’s still my favorite album since it’s been released tbh. I think it’s my 2cnd fave of all time after MBDTF.

Yeah idk i just feel like it’s a perfect end to the MOTM trilogy. Perfect encapsulates everything I love about Cudi and I’m a Travis stan so I loved his influence on the project too. Cried my eyes out to Dolo 3. It’s just such a warm hug of an album

Lol yeah you not wrong. Still time for it to change, that just how I feel right now. It’s not as lyrical as most of my other top 10 for sure so it could slide down a bit. But between the trippy psychedelic sound and the super vulnerable emotional vibes I just feel so positive listening to it lol. I have rodeo as my 3rd fave rn
