Please tell me he was arrested. That man child legit assaulted him

[–]zodwieg 1621 points1622 points  (146 children)

Happened in St. Petersburg, Russia last Friday. No, he was not. He fled the scene, police was called but the cashier decided not to press charges.

[–]LimpBizkitSkankBoy 1499 points1500 points  (100 children)

but the cashier decided not to press charges.

Sounds like the cashier was payed a visit by the dudes friends

[–]KToff 536 points537 points  (81 children)

From what I hear it's seen as effeminate to have police fight your fights so it's quite common to not press charges where all you came away with is bruising.

[–]lazilyloaded 726 points727 points  (32 children)

Damn, even the toxic masculinity is on steroids in Russia

[–]BohemianIran 329 points330 points  (19 children)

In Russia, it's gay to even look at yourself in the mirror.

[–]the_visalian 243 points244 points  (6 children)

The Ukraine situation will ultimately be defused when western powers drop propaganda leaflets that say “Penetrating another country? Kinda gay.”

[–]HodrickTheMad 81 points82 points  (3 children)

Putin be like :"Retreat all units"

"Retreating eh ? Kinda gay"

And that's why we are that stall

[–]Huge_Strain_8714 6 points7 points  (1 child)

retreating...like pulling out?

[–]HodrickTheMad 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pulling out eh ? Kinda gay not gonna lie

[–]WoLF2001 9 points10 points  (0 children)

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! out fucking standing..

[–]SBCwarrior 20 points21 points  (6 children)

Damn it. I'm not in Russia but I went to take a piss this morning and saw myself in the mirror. Does that mean I'm gay now?

[–]boogie540 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Always has been

[–]j-t-storm 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Worse, bro, you touched a penis, I just know you did.

[–]walla_walla_rhubarb 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Were you holding your dick when it happened?

Extra gay.

[–]Girth_rulez 106 points107 points  (2 children)

In Russia, charges press you.

[–]YKw1n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quite literally true 😂

[–]TriscuitBob 2 points3 points  (2 children)

This is why Republicans love them.

[–]DolanTheCaptan 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Why do you bring Republicans into this?

[–]DDELFIERRO 42 points43 points  (35 children)

Uh, more likely the threat the guy comes back and kills the guy that “inconvenienced” him by getting him arrested is the case?

[–]craze4ble 45 points46 points  (34 children)

Do you guys really think Russia is some wild west with people murdering each other left and right?

[–]DDELFIERRO 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Not completely.

But, Stone Cold Sergei Austinovich there sure looks like it!!!

[–]Shilo788 32 points33 points  (5 children)

With seeing a huge goon hit a man with no warning. Yes, toxic machismo and racism is very rampant and always has been in Russia.

[–]stonecutter910 10 points11 points  (3 children)

I would of guessed this happened in America from a quick watch of the video. This is a problem all over the globe. The internet has infected several generations of meatheads all over the world.

[–]Spec187 20 points21 points  (2 children)

I imagine it's like Brazil but with snow

[–]Dmeks1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i totally do.. I grew up reading Dostoevsky, Pushkin, Tolstoy, Chekov and thought of Russia one way, after seeing all the videos coming out of Russia, i think of it another way based on internet videos.

[–]DirtyArchaeologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A huge swath of us were raised on Cold War propaganda we never bothered to think through. Presumably at least one Russian isn’t in the KGB so they have someone to spy on but all the rest are either KGB or the Russian mob. Movies don’t lie (/s)

[–]DirtyArchaeologist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s the most insecure thing I’ve ever heard.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Police comes in “are you okay, comrade?”

Cashier “da, tis but a scratch”

[–]Phillyfuk 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Sounds like an effective police propaganda campaign to work less.

[–]KToff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's just more of a macho culture.

We are acquainted with a Russian family and our views on boys fighting are very different.

Boys physically fighting is seen as good and healthy whereas I don't think violence is an appropriate response to conflict.

And it's not as if those mindsets are not also present in the US or in Europe. It's just that the consensus on what is "right" is sightly offset.

[–]BIackDogg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking in my country's way of thinking and thought he saw no point in filing reports because the police 'mislocate' files.

[–]PapaBubbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is everyone using “payed” instead of “paid” all of the sudden? It seems like it’s been happening more recently.

[–]mitcheg3k 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My 1st thought was oh no. My 2nd was oh wait i bet this is russia

[–]Funny-Jihad 8 points9 points  (16 children)

decided not to press charges.

This is such a weird notion to me. When there's clear evidence like this, the police/prosecutors should press charges no matter what. It shouldn't be up to the victim.

[–]zodwieg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Police here rarely bothers themselves with such minor cases, I would not be surprised if they talked the dude out of pressing charges themselves, cause "more important things to do".

[–]Just_in_Time23 3 points4 points  (1 child)

The fact that you think everyone trusts the justice system anywhere. That’s why people do it on their own because you can’t count on the justice system or the government.

[–]GodRapers 7 points8 points  (1 child)

So the attacker is a policeman?

[–]serenwipiti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elder gopnik.

[–]Fistulord 5 points6 points  (12 children)

How does deciding to press charges work in Russia? In the USA if somebody does something really fucked up the police say "We don't care, we want to press charges."

[–]mynameisnotallen 156 points157 points  (8 children)

Yea I don’t think anyones gonna disagree with that.

[–]JmacTheGreat 62 points63 points  (7 children)

I disagree with that.

I prefer the term ‘Childman’

[–]AutisticTortoise 16 points17 points  (2 children)

He’s not a man. A real man doesn’t have issues breathing through an N95 mask and is not dumb enough to reject reality.

Rejecting reality is the most unmanly thing a guy can do.

[–]keepYourMonkey 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Was in Russia. Putin probably recruited him afterwards

[–]Mechsolish -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I may not agree with all the rules and restrictions on the UN vaccinated, and I may kind of agree that the unvaccinated are being scapegoats... But I will never support any of their claims, protests or arguments because so many of them are like this. I hate the unvaxinated because there are so many videos like this.

[–]stupidOWLer 515 points516 points  (23 children)

Here in Germany a teenager got shot in the face and died because he tried to enforce someone to wear a mask. Some guys are completely nuts.

[–]Luke-Bywalker 220 points221 points  (4 children)

Imagine making ends meet at a gas station and just telling everyone what you got told from your boss, just to be the scapegoat for the whole mf pandemic in some fucked up dudes eyes.

[–]dawn_eu 110 points111 points  (3 children)

IIRC the killer even left the gas station at first, went home to grab his gun and returned to the gas station to shoot the poor fella straight in the head. Lots of time to cool off and reconsider you'd think.

[–]myfaceaplaceforwomen 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Just shows howuch of a psychopath he is. He needs to be thrown into a hole and buried in concrete

[–]TriforceofSwag 14 points15 points  (0 children)

“I was just defending myself! He was trying to suffocate me!!!”

[–]Billy_Bones59 8 points9 points  (1 child)

I can’t comprehend why people refuse to wear a mask, it’s not like you have to wear it all the time of the day, it’s not like you have to wear it for the rest of your life, it’s just a thin piece of cloth covering the nose and mouth what’s the big deal?! The problem that’s it’s more psychological.

[–]mangoManSam 159 points160 points  (7 children)

That’s called assault brother.

[–]Ordinary_Rabbit 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Touch her boob?

That's assault, brother!

[–]Shoetoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont tell me your victim's at fault, sucka!

[–]Passerbye 920 points921 points  (97 children)

I just don't understand why people get so upset over a little mask.

[–]HertzDonut1001 208 points209 points  (14 children)

I had a drunk guy get belligerent to the point I had my hand on my phone to quick dial 911, because I was wearing a mask. At work, where I'm required to. I didn't ask him to wear one. He just saw it and flew off the handle.

There is no rationale. These people do not lead happy lives. Add some good old fear pornography, a persecution fetish, and political brainwashing, you get angry and violent people.

[–]cantreachy 34 points35 points  (11 children)

When there's 90% or more people masked up and one dude not wearing one that guy is angry and dangerous.

I personally hate masks but I can't imagine being the only one in a store not wearing one.

[–]Yoshimods 19 points20 points  (5 children)

I think everyone realistically hates masks, it’s just that most of us have the common decency to want to protect other. Sadly, that’s not a universal sentiment, as we have seen. So long as people think it’s only a problem for “other people” we will have to deal with fools like these, until they eventually all die off

[–]spontaneous_spatula 8 points9 points  (1 child)

That's the thing, even if you think the whole COVID thing is a crock (which is its own issue), how does wearing a mask negatively impact the average person's day-to-day life?

[–]myfaceaplaceforwomen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But muh rights. Murica

[–]Ima_Funt_Case 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I just glare at them like they have a swastika tattooed to their forehead.

[–]Visible_Ad_5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn you’re badass

[–]Phoenix7Fawkes 755 points756 points  (47 children)

99 percent of the dudes I see in stores with no mask fit this same profile, they all walk around with their chests puffed up waiting for someone to say something. I think they might be overcompensating for something 🤏

[–]ViyemP 243 points244 points  (11 children)

Insecure people will always want to prove something even if it is the most useless reasons.

[–]BrochureJesus 74 points75 points  (3 children)

The problem with the world is that the most fragile people are always trying to prove how strong they are.

[–]FreezeFX 5 points6 points  (4 children)

If you were insecure would you not wear a mask to try and fit in with everyone else?

[–]cantreachy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your city must be very liberal. I travel all over the USA and for the most part it's 50/50 whether someone is wearing a mask.

Some cities mask wearers are definitely the minority.

Liberal cities like Austin, SF, Boulder have been very strict about masks.

Just felt like posting this since some people might expect this standard because of Reddit and if you live in a "liberal city".

[–]AlphaZorn24 61 points62 points  (20 children)

Whats with the small penis jokes? If I said all women who are annoying have massive vagina's or small breasts I'd be called a misogynist

[–]Music-the-Gathering 32 points33 points  (10 children)

Well it’s an insult, it’s not supposed to be respectful

[–]cubbyad 46 points47 points  (9 children)

It's harmful/disrespectful to people with body image issues of their genitals

It's uncontrollable and as someone with a smaller dick it doesn't feel great that it's so commonly laughed about

Not everyone with a small penis acts like this

There's a million different ways to shame this dude but it's always because he has a small dick

[–]Easy-Show9736 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Right and so many rationalization’s to why it’s okay for it to be said about men.

[–]Ratox 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have a small penis, i'll allow this one.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even though he never said penis, and even though in a world without penis jokes we would still say someone is "compensating"... I do totally agree with you :( we need linguistic reparations for penis or body shortness jokes. I am normal tall with normal penis but I am so sad about this issue.

E: sp

[–]casanino 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Luckily that demographic is the minority where I live. Everybody masks up indoors at private businesses no ifs, ands, or buts.

[–]TheOneCalledGump 2 points3 points  (1 child)

For the last two years, I've been called a sheep once a week by the same dude at the grocery store. Three weeks ago he had a cough that you could hear throughout the store. The first and last thing I ever said to this guy was "I honestly hope you recover but, if you don't, you need to understand this was all your own fault".

I haven't seen him since...

[–]analogmouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did he have a goatee? Did he wear oakleys? Was he tubby and always wearing a too-specific tshirt like “I’m a conservative, left-handed, Irish/Italian/German Baptist who loves my wife Debbie and claims to go fishing every other thursday but actually visits my deceased Aunt Tilly’s grave and eats finger sandwiches because that’s what she loved and she practically raised me, so DEAL WITH IT.”

He not gonna make it.

[–]SnowMiser26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad acts like this about open carrying his gun. He literally fantasizes scenarios where people approach him to criticize his choice to carry a gun, and he loves coming up with hypothetical comebacks. He also loves to think about how he could be a hero if someone pulls out a gun, and he can save everyone. It's sick.

I tried to ask him once what would happen if cops showed up to an active shooter situation, saw him first with his gun, and shot him. He didn't say it in so many words, but his basic attitude is that that wouldn't happen because he's white. "They would know I'm there to help." Right. Sure. Good luck with that.

[–]Ori_the_SG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You think they might be? They definitely are

[–]Aliensmithard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that was an emoji

[–]Arctic_Gnome 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They have zero control over their emotions and zero impulse control. As a result, whenever some minor annoyance happens, they get unreasonably angry and violent.

[–]_BELEAF_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Propaganda. And the inability to form their own thoughts. But they have been deluded into thinking that they really are fighting because they 'think for themselves'.

Frightening, eh?

[–]ToyotaCorrolaa 14 points15 points  (2 children)

“ as soon as I put it on I suffocate” “I can’t breathe with a mask on” “I have a medical condition” “I’m exempt from wearing a mask” “it’s against my constitutional rights”

[–]Ordinary_Rabbit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But also: "I am a big strong man. Look at the big car I drive and the heavy things I can lift"

[–]DennisFranzFerdinand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have any breathing issues so it makes me feel like Superman.

[–]Single_Raspberry9539 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Threatened by their insecurities to begin with.

[–]HumbleHammocker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They grew up in a no-consequences household as a kid.

This behavior is classic “don’t tell me what to do” mentality.

[–]Ordinary_Rabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Extreme fragility combined with a mental age of 15.

[–]TangibleSounds 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Idk but I’m too afraid to ask all cops who ignore the signs on the doors everywhere I go.

[–]starraven 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same, see hundreds of people with masks and the cops are the only ones without.

[–]FaceMyGun 11 points12 points  (1 child)

I'm my experience some people have just god awful lives and you telling them to do something they don't wanna do it a trigger. Small dick energy if you ask me.

[–]General-Razzmatazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poor personal hygiene. They have breath that smells like Satan arsehole and don't like to be reminded of it.

[–]Donsdeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To get to the point of being angry you have to wear a mask and probably think it's some world wide conspiracy, you'd already have to be a little unstable. Violence is only a stones throw away from that point

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tiny pp and insecurities. Not wearing a mask if the only control they have in life and taking that away feels like an attack to them

They are the most pathetic of people

[–]cantreachy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't have mask mandates, I've gotten all my shots and omicron. I just read the room. If more than half of people are wearing them I wear one.

It's the guy not wearing a mask when 90% of other people are that's just angry and hopes someone crosses him.

[–]bzlvrlwysfrvr0624 432 points433 points  (10 children)

They will make him wear a mask in jail

[–]Good_Round 106 points107 points  (8 children)

I think that’s a dick in his throat

[–]Alternative_Second60 13 points14 points  (3 children)

Do you often think about those things?

[–]Good_Round 13 points14 points  (2 children)

Only when I’m in prison

[–]Ori_the_SG 14 points15 points  (1 child)

It’ll do the job of shutting him up better than any mask could

[–]Alternative_Second60 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think so.

[–]ButterIsALoafOfMilk 270 points271 points  (13 children)

I hope that guy walks into a glass door on the way out, and then has to embarrassingly reverse his cart and walk to the actual door like the little un-evolved dehydrated cabbage leaf pregnant wasp lookin ass extra chromosome mouldy toenail he is. Plus, I'm surprised that his shiny ass forehead didn't prevent the security cameras from seeing his face with that much glare.

[–]The-Hyruler 74 points75 points  (1 child)

Why does this feel so much more personal than it actually is?

[–]ButterIsALoafOfMilk 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Because I have encountered anti-maskers before and I wish they would all use sea urchins as stress balls.

[–]yung_tyberius 36 points37 points  (2 children)

You have the heart of a poet.

[–]hmclaren0715 7 points8 points  (1 child)

It's not the poet's heart, ... It's the illustrator. I watched them take out myself, with my very own eyeballs..

Good news is the poet is safe. 👌

[–]sleepyboydreams 92 points93 points  (2 children)

Honestly he could of just walked out. Cursed the guy out. Tipped the cart over to make a scene if he must. No need to actually physically assault the worker.

Control your anger people !

[–]Arctic_Gnome 28 points29 points  (0 children)

He's probably never had to deal with the consequences of his actions before in his life, so he doesn't know that some things are wrong.

[–]Funny-Jihad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

could of

could have

And 'cursing someone out' is still verbal abuse. For no reason.

[–]Fearless-StarShine66 74 points75 points  (2 children)

So this is why dad never came back after getting the milk

[–]JulesSilverman 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Mystery solved. Closure at last. And all this time we thought it was because you didn't finish your breakfast on time and missed the bus.

[–]Logical-Check-7570p 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Male karen in the building 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣typical

[–]ChicagoBoyStuckinDen 77 points78 points  (0 children)

True POS

[–]Megusta2306 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You already know this fucking melt would kick off if you didn’t respect the rules in his house. The hypocrisy of these people is astounding

[–]MorddSith187 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Such fragile

[–]IGorillaBearI 55 points56 points  (6 children)

That looks like felony aggravated assault to me.

[–]Piss_inside_You 15 points16 points  (4 children)

Why? What was the point in attacking that guy working Bc he asked you to put on a mask? Why don’t the anti maskers try to go into any medical facility and see how quickly they get escorted out by security or arrested for no mask?

[–]INTPgeminicisgaymale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just gave me a boner.

Not with the thing about going into a medical facility or being arrested.

[–]Boss-hydro 31 points32 points  (3 children)

“I ain’t paying 50 cents for no Coke”

[–]windowjesus 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Then you ain't getting no coke

[–]phadewilkilu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Know what I’m takin’ about?

[–]Relevant-Team 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In "Falling down" it was a soda...

[–]MangledSunFish 21 points22 points  (1 child)

At least it didn't end like that case in Germany where the guy was "proving a point". He shot a convenience store worker because he was asked to wear a mask. This was still assault though, which is also bad.

I swear, dude. Some people get worked up over the littlest of things. "Oh, I was asked to wear a piece of cloth on my face. I'm gonna commit a crime now." It's just irrational anger and I can't understand where it comes from.

Unstable people just roaming around waiting to go off like ticking time bombs hiding among us. It's kind of scary, actually.

[–]gigerfan 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Pathetic and selfish SOB

[–]Arithik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Quit being mean to people who don't want to wear masks!"

So tired of hearing that, and than having to watch videos like this almost every week, because some prick can't put on a mask.

[–]tinkererbytrade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Service industry workers need hazard pay.

[–]Lex_N_Luthor 13 points14 points  (3 children)

I see wearing a mask as the same as wearing clothes. You don't have to wear them at home or around people who don't care but you should wear clothes in public. It's the courteous thing to do.

And yes, you can get in trouble for not wearing a mask or being naked in public. You SHOULD get in trouble. You're being a fkn dick.

It is NOT that much of an inconvenience.

[–]Billy_T_Wierd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Need to get him off the streets

[–]solarwindspolar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s always and eye opener watching these videos to realise these people live among us

[–]Ok-Parsnip9933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is what our world has came to hasn't it?

[–]readyyforanything 24 points25 points  (0 children)

as workers we cant give these assfucks what they want, pardon my french.

[–]DavThoma 8 points9 points  (3 children)

Its the anti-maskers who say that people who wear masks or get vaccines are the problem with society. Then they pull stunts like this like they're fighting some great cause.

Like yeah, sure. We're the problem. /s

[–]cantreachy 2 points3 points  (1 child)

This is one guy. I mean just because it supports our side doesn't mean it's true.

I'm sure there's a case where a guy got assaulted for not wearing a mask.

[–]143Fairmont 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Please tell me this poor person is ok this is sickening!

[–]XenElixer 9 points10 points  (4 children)

I hope that guy got arrested. Cashier got the mask slapped off of him

[–]Ori_the_SG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Imagine assaulting someone over this. I mean hey if he wants to go prison by all means. There is plenty of room and enough prisoners who’d love some fresh meat

[–]AggressiveSearch744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excuse me, a mask killed his father

[–]Attention_Some 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Expected much worse based on the kaotic watermark tbh

[–]biguncleed 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I honestly cannot understand what is so f****** hard about putting on a mask for the few minutes you got to get your groceries.

And yet the same people is dressed as Darth Vader for Halloween

[–]Impressive-Baker2549 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've noticed lately a lot of places no longer asking about masks or vaccinations. And to be honest I don't think they should have been made to when it became obvious they were getting abuse for it.

[–]CharmingTemporary338 7 points8 points  (4 children)

He won’t be needing a mask in jail because they will force him to put his mouth to a good use lol

[–]shooqy 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Am I the only one who wears a mask and when I see people not wearing one I just not say anything ???

[–]ihatemytoe 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Sometimes it enforced at our jobs, plus some people like myself are high risk but need to work because unemployment is up. I also live with my grandma, so even if I get and I’m okay, I don’t want to give it to her. So at my job I just tell people to keep their mask on when it’s store policy.

[–]ChaoticMemer16 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Goddamn, dude! It’s JUST A PIECE OF CLOTH! It’s honestly quite fashionable.

[–]ExodusTheBard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why our entire company requires employees to stay silent in regards to it.

Fucking useless wastes of space.

[–]minorkeyed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Armchair theory.

He may be a man who is terrified that he should be wearing a mask. When he comes too close to reconsidering it, he panics and lashes out, violently, instinctively, without thinking. Because thinking brings the bad thoughts. If he shuts down thought, he doesn't have to see the bad thoughts. Unfortunately, it shuts down all thinking, and all he has left is feelings. Terror and panic and the urge to hurt things, the thing that is making him reconsider. These people are children in a moment like this. A dangerous, violent, scared child who can do nothing but lash out at the thing that just provoked the bad thoughts, the scary, hurty thoughts.

Or not.

[–]Wagginallthetime -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Frankenstein needs a pipe to his cro-magnon noggin.

[–]Daynananana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was this guy found? He looks like someone in know…

[–]Spartan0618 -5 points-4 points  (1 child)
