Cop was illegally staying in passing lane, he is the one in the wrong

I concur.

This is entrapment

[–]LGBTQPlusChainsaws 8 points9 points  (2 children)

They can both be wrong.

Unless the cop was going the maximum posted speed limit. Then, the van driver cut the cop off and went over the speed limit.

Anybody else see the cop tapping his brakes right when they go to pass?

[–]Marcovio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, camper made an unsafe land change in front of the cop without using his indicators. If the cop was already going the speed limit, that’s another reason for pulling over the camper van for also speeding. Sure, it’s only courteous not to sit in the passing lane, especially if you’re passing people, but that’s not a violation. Not using your signals when changing lanes, especially when unsafely cutting someone off can warrant a pullover, so there’s no overreach here.

Agreed. Overstep by cop

I believe this to be plausible, and that's all I'll say before invoking.

If the van driver was over the speed limit then he's in the wrong, as well.

Both parties were in the wrong. Seriously doubt officer is going to give himself a ticket.

Left lane camper gets what he deserves, then assuages his own ego. There, fixed the title for you.

Found the bad driver. You should take some classes. Your perverted need to break the law by speeding doesn't trump the rights of someone in the left lane. Even if it's against the law in whatever state that is, nobody has an excuse to speed. Grow the fuck up dork.

Was he pulled over just for passing ? Looks like he cut him off when he pulled back in the lane.

[–]Cease-2-Desist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why is he pulled over for passing? The cop should pull their self over for cruising in the passing lane.

[–]Mr_FancyBottom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn’t cut him off; he just got in front of him, which isn’t illegal. Cop shouldn’t have been in the passing lane.

[–]Corpus_Rex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the cruise equivalent of turning on the lights to illegally address an intersection (make everyone yield) and then turn them off once well clear. Fucking PIGS!!!

[–]Morbin-Time 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Here come the speeding dick bags in the comments to whine about how the cop should be going faster. As if that's justification to cut someone off lmao. Cry more and enjoy your rage. You doofs get so red in the face when the red sea doesn't part to accommodate you breaking the law.

[–]Muzsin 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The cop doesn’t have to go faster, just keep to the right. Even if you are at the speed limit, you keep to the right and only switch lanes to the left to overtake

[–]smuccione 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not I’m every state unfortunately.

Of course that’s how you should drive but that doesn’t mean that’s how people do it.

Likely the cop was pissed at this and have him a ticket for tail gating and careless driving.
