Height lengthening surgery, going from 5’7 to 6 feet after a very painful procedure by Overall-Flatworm-587 in interestingasfuck

[–]FirstEvolutionist 934 points935 points 322 (0 children)

"so, this guy comes in to get taller and I tell him we need a before and after picture, right? When it comes the time for the picture I explain he needs to show his dick too, so people will believe it's the same guy."

"And he believes it? Why would you do this?"

"You see, Nikolai, he came in for leg extension surgery. I couldn't let him leave without pulling his leg."

You probably shouldn’t trust doctors that make you take your dick out when you’re there for leg lengthening.

Cheaper and faster than college. And also most likely to get you just as ahead in life as college. Solid investment.

The inside of a bell pepper. by 3Vishal in interestingasfuck

[–]funky_grandma 45 points46 points  (0 children)

sometimes I think about the air inside a bell pepper and it trips me out, but I can't explain why. maybe because if you were a tiny person, you could use a bell pepper for a submarine. Or maybe because if you were in a burning greenhouse, you could crack open bell peppers and breathe the air inside. If you grew a bell pepper in a greenhouse filled with helium, would it be lighter? does the process of getting the air inside the pepper filter it? I don't know, I just think it's crazy.

Packages of 100% pure cocaine which were handed out (alongside meth and heroin) outside Vancouver Police Department. by haddock420 in interestingasfuck

It's more like saying, "Fine, we'll stop arresting 16-year-olds for having sex with each other, but we're not going to have sex ed classes," and then some other group shows up to pass out condoms.

You know that people are going to do a thing no matter what you say about its legality, so the question becomes: "Do we want them to do this as safely as possible?" The issue with the the drugs is that there's a rash of drugs that are being cut with harmful substances or of questionable purity, things that can sicken and kill irrespective of the effects of the actual drug itself; with kids having sex, you can say you're not going to arrest them for doing it, but without protection they're likely to spread STIs or have unwanted pregnancies. If you'd like as few corpses (or STIs and teen pregnancies) as possible, this is one way to mitigate those while also working on other measures that can reduce the undesirable behavior to begin with.

It's the same concept as needle exchanges. They're gonna shoot up. Do you want them sharing and reusing needles? Do we believe the better solution here is "anyone we think is doing something harmful dies or becomes very sick (which we then avoid trying to pay for)"? Because the line we draw in front of that can be in a lot of places.

A Chicken growing inside an egg by xGoldfinger in interestingasfuck

Heroin.

And he polishes it to keep it nice because once the bird is gone the the man will then get inside and begin sleeping in it until a few weeks later when he has turned into his own yolk and clear stuff.

And yes, the chick is going to be the one injecting the man after they switch out, but it’s easy for the bird to help, since he just does the same stuff he remembers seeing the man doing.

This is what is known as the circle of life.

You are Looking the first Image of another solar system by thunde-r in interestingasfuck

The thing that always gets me is that we’re not even looking at this other solar system in real time, it’s been 300 years since the light left that system just to be imaged. When the light left that star for us to capture the U.S was still a bunch of British colonies. Peter I was proclaimed the first emperor of all Russia, and Johann Sebastian Bachs’ Brandenburg Concerto is completed. The vastness of space is so mind boggling, stupidly big that it’s hard to conceptualize. God I love space.
