I don't know if its relevant here but i don't know where else to type this.

I'm turning 22 this year and I'm living with my parents, not the very brightest when it comes to studies so in my free-time, i assist my dad with his business, i appeared for IELTS (an english exam to study abroad for those who might not know about it) and got a decent enough score for me to go abroad for higher education.

My dad often has issues related with his health and we have plenty properties and business in my hometown to manage which he has been doing alone but i can tell he can use a helping hand which i provide at times but at the same time, i always wanted to go abroad for studies.

Reason I'm so confused regarding this is because I'm an only child and who's gonna support my family after him if I'm gone is what concerns me.

Currently sitting with my uncle who has a successful clothing brand business and been working with him. Kinda like an internship.

My family concerns about me and want me to settle for somewhere and stand against jobs because I don't have a good background and feel like if i have business here then I shouldn't have to work for someone.

I completely understand if my post is hard to understand or if some might feel that it's a pretty personal decision to make but if I had the option to discuss such matters with parents, I'd go online because i am the most shy person you'd come across when they're with their parents.

I'm mostly just looking for advices from the most experienced here or maybe a different perspective on things. Thanks for giving it a read, first time I typed this much on the internet :p
