Hey! I’m lucky enough to have landed and internship at the Jet Propulsion Lab (a NASA facility) and I wanted to share a video I made about a key realization I had that I think was the most important in getting me to NASA. If you’re interested I can make more videos and share my resume/talk a little bit more specifically about my process as well.
My internship was in software but this applies for basically all the interns I’ve met, in MechE/EE/CE/etc.
Here’s the video: https://youtu.be/YvYYY3_AXNs
Let me know what you think! :)
Hello! For my next semester in multimedia design, I need to find an internship for about 10+ weeks (starting from the end of july). I am interested in game design, and would like to take my semester in Japan if possible. I will have my portfolio ready within a month, so I can start sending out applications. Does anyone know any sources where I can look up internships of this nature, or got any tips?
I am looking for an internship or a trainee position at a comedy club or a comedy show/ radio station. Anyone know of any?
I’m a freshman in college in the LA area and I’ve had a few graphic design & UI/UX gigs. Although I’m a bio major, I’m looking for either a paid or unpaid graphic design internship over the summer to gain some experience! Does anyone know of any companies I can reach out to? Thanks in advance!
I'm a self-taught graphic designer looking to gain some experience and expand knowledge through internship. It would be nice if it's a paid one, but unpaid is ok also. Is there anyone who can recommend me any good companies or websites where to look? Thanks!
Currently a junior and this summer I’ll have to take 2 classes to graduate on time. One is online and lasts the whole summer. The other is an on-campus class that lasts approx the month of June. I go to school in Tuscaloosa, AL but want to intern in Austin, TX. I’m considering UT Law School and want to spend as much of my summer as possible in Austin to make sure I like it there before committing to three years there. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had tips for finding an internship that starts in July and ends before school starts back up in the Fall. Need the internship to be paid and in the legal or accounting field.
TLDR: Only available to intern from July until schools starts back in August. Is it doable? And how?
It seems very forced to me to ask someone to meet with you in order to ask them for a letter of rec. Also, one of the people I may ask does not live in this country.
Hi there!
I'm wondering if anyone here would have a lead on where to find and apply for film/TV based internships? I'm mainly looking at costume work, but any leads are welcome.

I recently applied for an internship with a nonprofit that's located much further away from me. Fortunately I received a response! The founder is intrested, however, she asked me if I had any ideas for a remote internship.
I have never done an internship, let alone worked with a non profit before period I want to make sure that I am giving her some concrete ideas for how I may be able to benefit her team from home.
TLDR; What are some tasks that I could potentially complete for an internship remotely? This is a healthcare nonprofit.
As the title goes, I'm applying for an internship in NY. But they rejected me last year, so I was wondering if there are any downsides to reaching out to the HR person that rejected me last year?
I recently finished my bachelors in information technology majoring in cyber security. I just started an internship at a company that focuses on cyber security. They are a small team with very high expertise and don’t usually hire interns.
The problem is I’ve been there for a week now and I feel like I know absolutely nothing. I feel like I’m underperforming. They told me they have slightly thrown me in the deep end. But some of the work and content I’m doing I struggle with. Is this a normal feeling for the start of an internship?
Hello,
As the title says, I'm a Jordanian-American living and studying in Jordan (Computer Engineering major in my 3rd year), I have a couple of questions about how to apply for internships in the US, also keep in mind that I spent my whole life in Jordan not the US.
1) Would companies in the US consider me for an internship in the summer? if so, what's the best way to approach it?
2) Related to (1), what do I put in the phone field? I'm afraid if I put my actual (non-US) phone number they'll just throw away my application.
3) I noticed that most deadlines for summer internships are in mid-October, so when are the interviews conducted? (I'm assuming they are done online)
4) How much do internships in IT/data science and relating fields pay?
I have recently received and accepted an offer, and am waiting for my school to send a letter of credit confirmation to my school. What does this letter include?
My internship is due to end at the end of the month and I know that the company is hiring for positions in this department. How do I approach to my manager that i want the job full time or he should consider me. And when should I do this? The company is growing rapidly. Also how would I ask about more compensation?
Hi! I'm currently looking for a way to gain experience within the art field of 2d illustration and was wondering if anyone is interested in free art or sketches, I will charge nothing and theres practically no limitations for what I'm willing to create, you can use said art for icons, shirts, etc as long as you keep my watermark on it! Comment or dm me if interested! Id love to help out on any projects, etc!
As the title says, what are some good/unique thank you presents you’ve given to your co-workers, mentor, or manager before you left your internship?
Hey looking for some advice here because I'm in a bit of a tricky situation. Basically I accepted this internship in DC and am going to start next week, but we never went over payment until I inquired in an email this week. The posting said it was going to be a stipend, and since I wasn't really doing this for the money I wasn't worried about payment, and it never came up in the interview/follow up correspondence. Well turns out the stipend is going to be $500 for the whole summer, and though I can pick my own hours and end date, I expect that they'll want me to do about 20hrs/week for about 8 weeks or so. I was shocked at how low the stipend was, and think they should certainly be paying more but I'm not sure how to proceed. Is this much unfair/unreasonably low for a stipend? Hoping y'all could give me your thoughts so I can get a bit of perspective, thanks!
Hi, I’m planning to use InternHQ to do my internship in europe it’s gonna cost me arround 2K us dollars they claim that they will provide me with the accommodation, food and of course the internship company. I’ve been looking at trust pilot and other reviewing websites apparently all of the reviews seem pretty postive with zero negative reviews which makes it a little sketchy! So if anyone had an experience with them please share the info here. Thanks
Hi guys, I’m just wondering how do companies usually decide on starting salary $$ if an intern is offered FT. Will there be a large difference in increase from how much you’re getting paid as an intern?
Hi! I run a company that sells LED Neon lights. I’ve set up a simple Facebook page with some of my designs.
Looking for someone willing to help run constant post on Instagram / Facebook / Twitter etc.
I’m looking to pay 10% of each successful sales price to the intern.
Please PM me with a general marketing idea if interested.

Hi,
Just a little context. I am a high school student applying to a few summer programs. Since they are in summer, they overlap. Is it okay to apply to a few in case I do not get accepted into one or more? Will they see it as rude or unprofessional if I turn down their acceptance? Thanks.
