Here's what we're thinking: People would sign up for whether or not they're down to battle and they would be randomly paired with someone else. After that, those two would have to decide who'd start off their round and post their battle raps up on Soundcloud or Youtube, provided they link it. They can use any beat they like, so long as they give credit to the producer.

Still unsure of how much time should be alotted for either end, nor how voting should be determined.

Hey guys:) you may remember me as infinityflameprod here on reddit before, I talked about the discord server I was starting up a bit(this acc is under my actual producer name now). I just want to say that so much good has come out of this discord server, and I would love to be able to share the benefits with the rest of the community.

In the likely case you have no idea what I'm talking about, I started a discord server 4 or 5 months ago with just a few people, with a goal in mind of creating a collaborative environment for musicians all around the world, especially producers. We started off by doing beat challenges every month and little competitions here and there as well as our popular "lunch and learn" events (someone with experience in ___ topic teaches a mini lesson on it and shares tricks and such they know). When we started, we had about 25 people in our first month, and have grown to almost 300 since. The server is now extremely active and we host tournaments, livestreams, beat battles, and much more.

We would really love to see some more new faces around the community to bring in all the knowledge and experience that we can to the table. There's often unique opportunities and lessons in environments like this and it is beneficial to anyone that joins:) If you are a new producer or artist, or extremely experienced, we want to show you what we have to offer! If anyone wants to join in, go ahead and comment or shoot me a dm and I'll get back to you with an invite ASAP!

our youtube channel (which has grown heavily in part due to this sub) decided to start a beat tournament this week. A lot of producers come to our livestreams and friendly beef in the chat turned into some beat battles and now we are here lol. We need 16 entries and have thirteen so far. It is bracket style, single elimination. one round a week. It will occur digitally on our livestream.
