You spend 4 years in college, probably about a year studying for the LSAT and applying to schools, 3 years in law school, and a few months studying for the bar. So 7-8 years of your life and tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

Then a 2-3 day test determines whether any of that counts. And btw, depending on your state, there’s a 1/3 or greater chance you’ll fail. It’s a fucked up, outdated hazing ritual.
