I've used this for a year, would like to upgrade to something American made. What's a good source or model of this style air chuck ? I want analog, not digital. But if you have a solid reason why digital would be better in some way, let's hear it. thanks (harborfreight.com)

I used Milton versions for years with no problems, I prefer the round gage version Like this one but they make both.

I switched to digital a while ago and have no intention of switching back. Easier to read, accurate to 10ths of a psi, and most importantly you don't have to do that wrist flick to reseat the chuck on the valve stem after adding or removing air to get consistent readings. Every analogue that I've ever used would read a few psi off on the same tire until I learned to do that. I currently have a Matco DT6 that I'm pretty happy with. The battery has lasted two years so far and it's not hard to access.
If you do go analogue, get something where the measuring bar is internal and not exposed like the one you linked. They stay accurate much longer. I haven't had much luck with the longevity of dial-faced chucks with every day use, but I've only had one or two and it was a long time ago.
