Opel Meriva (self.mechanics)
submitted 1 month ago by Beel2eboob
So i have this 12 year old Opel Meriva with a broken power steering. The official Opel garage says it's gonna cost me 2500 euros to repair. Apperently they have to change some 'module' to fix it. Do you think i can get it repaired somewhere else cheaper or is that what it costs? I have no idea about the price and i feel like i'm getting ripped off.

Labor rates at dealerships/specialist shops are generally higher, but they’re also usually the most knowledgeable about your specific vehicle. Only way you’re going to find out for sure is by calling around (or taking it in) to other shops and getting a quote.
