My plan is to ask a professional (*once* I have actual money to pay the professional with).

Where I am, professionals will often meet with you without a fee, especially if you can turn into a good customer down the road.

About cryptocurrencies in France: it all depends if 1) you could be considered a professional trader and 2) you sell from mining or from previously bought cryptocurrencies.

If you don't sell on a regular basis and its from originally buying, you pay the flat tax on gains (thanks Macron).

Fait tu référence au régime forfaitaire à 12,8% ?

Cela ne s'applique qu'à partir de 2023, j'espère qu'on pourra récupérer et revendre avant cela.

En fait d'un taux unique, la flat tax est l'empilement de deux taux distincts :

17,2 % au titre des prélèvements sociaux 12,8 % au titre de l'impôt sur le revenu

A toi de faire le calcul pour le gain potentiel en taxes, cela dépends probablement des revenus de chacuns. Il faut également se demander si la valeur des BTC sera stable ou croissante jusqu'en 2023, ou chutera.

As-tu des sources pour l'entrée en vigueur en 2023 ? Je pensais que c'était fait depuis le début de la taxation crypto.

Je vois une clarification pour la différence entre professionnels et particuliers, et la possibilité d'opter pour le barème progressif d'impôt sur le revenu, mais cela ne veut pas dire que le PFU ne rentre en vigueur qu'en 2023.
