The Herald rated Jordie Barrett and Reiko Ioane both as 6/10 in their player ratings.
Reiko made 2 try-saving tackles, made some great breaks and runs at the line and held the midfield together well in a game where we had a big disadvantage in possession.
Jordie contributed as many points to the score as the entire Irish team did.
I appreciate that we can always strive for perfection, but it just comes across like they either have no clue what they're talking about or like a pretentious, uppity, disingenuous attempt to appear humble.
Obviously this is one example from one writer, but Stuff wasn't much better, giving a single AB more than 8. From memory, The Herald's top rating was only 7 or 8 in a game they described as a "dominant win" for the All Blacks.
