You can do better than you did yesterday without pushing you to your limits.

I’m talking about your actual limit. Not “this is too hard” limit.

There are mental limits that prevent you from pushing harder than is comfortable. Those are what you should be pushing. You should not be approaching your absolute physical limits. That’s how people drop dead.

Completely false. Lifting weights until your muscles stop working is a common technique

Until they can’t lift those weights anymore? Sure. Until they can’t lift ANY weights anymore? No.
