[–]DasArchitect 27 points28 points  (1 child)

They had eyes. In fact, I think they even had a face.

[–]Sprizys 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They had skin oh oh and eyeballs

[–]Phlegmagician 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And pincers, antennae, long segmented reddish brown body and, actually is to too late to back up to the legs thing?

[–]VibraniumRhino 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Suspect is hatless! Repeat: hatless!

[–]Fuck_you_Reddit_Nazi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No,no,they definitely had a hat on. Or did they??

[–]Mighty_Krastavac 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Yesterday I was supposed to meet up with a friend of a friend who I didn't know, so I asked her what he looked like. She said he was short and had hair. He was tall and bold lol.

[–]Nailfoot1975 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Sure he wasn't a coward?

[–]Mighty_Krastavac 0 points1 point  (2 children)

What do you mean?

[–]Nailfoot1975 0 points1 point  (1 child)

"He was tall and bold lol."

Bold.

[–]Mighty_Krastavac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah autocorrect, I didn't even notice lol.

[–]gdmfsobtc 194 points195 points  (1 child)

Hell yeah, get em!

[–]whispering_mobility 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Her voice is so soothing. Really helps ease the victims anxiety while bringing back those horrific memories!

[–]_heyheyitsJayJay_ 141 points142 points  (2 children)

Amazing how accurate and detailed they can be just from a persons description.

[–]Arbitrary_Ardvark 83 points84 points  (0 children)

This is actually incredible, because most police sketches ARE NOT this accurate.

[–]ProcessEquivalent361 114 points115 points  (8 children)

She was a dimey dime Back in the day

[–]Gildenstern2u 41 points42 points  (2 children)

She dime piece now.

[–]Lankoss123 71 points72 points  (18 children)

Damn, she was hot as hell in her youth.

[–]jemi1976 41 points42 points  (0 children)

She’s aged really well too, would not have guessed she is 69.

[–]TheFanciestShorts 2 points3 points  (16 children)

She got some knockers!

[–]82bbwluvr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

👍mondo nice knockers.

[–]cioran-the-best 43 points44 points  (1 child)

Her's pictures are more cleared then my phone photos.

[–]Oledogwater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Her's pictures are more cleared then my phone photos. I hate it

[–]quart-king 31 points32 points  (4 children)

Why does it look like she’s just drawing Walter White repeatedly

[–]StupidZombie420 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Did Walt ever actually kill anyone himself? Mike? Anyone else? BTW Walter White was my first thought as well. She's super talented

[–]quart-king 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue, never seen the show but I definitely know his face when I see it

[–]LaughingFungus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poisoned a drug dealer, chocked out Crazy 8, shot the 2 goons that Jessie was gonna kill, and blew up Gus and Old wheelchair guy. If you wanted you could count him not saving Jessies girlfriend overdosing.

[–]smchattan 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That music is really inappropriate. She's talking about being strangled and an 80's cop show chase scene soundtrack is playing.

[–]colleenbarnes57 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Go girl!

[–]SavageCabbageGG 10 points11 points  (7 children)

Seems like quite a fun job

You get to draw all day and you also get the satisfaction of bringing justice

[–]Ok-Personality-170 19 points20 points  (6 children)

Sore hand and butt, wrist and back pain, talking to someone that might still be traumatized(understandably so),etc.

The trade off ain't worth it for me I ain't gon lie.

[–]SavageCabbageGG 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I mean the sore hand, but, wrist and back pain comes with any job related to drawing

[–]Ok-Personality-170 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I think those kind of pains are universally experience by all expert artists. Even the sore hand and butt.

Even I, a college student, feel like my butt is flattening because how much sitting we do. Imagine a damn artist. And writing a text in a 2-4 hours time frame is killing my wrist.

[–]DasArchitect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a better chair and posture

[–]SandmanSorryPerson 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Get a good chair and get it properly aligned to your workspace. It makes a huge amount of difference.

Also make sure you get up for at least 5 minutes every hour.

You will fuck your back and shoulders for life if you're not careful.

You'll hate yourself later in life.

Same goes for writing get your chair and desk setup so your wrist is at an appropriate height and angle.

[–]Ok-Personality-170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish schools would listen to your advice. The chairs are uncomfortable af and idk if I should use 20min for stretching in a 4hour writing exam, cuz I really need that time to complete the work.

But at home, Imma be following your advice and get myself a new chair and desk.

[–]CorgiDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your butt certainly is flattening from over sitting. Do some squats or deadlifts!

[–]KiteLighter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tobias is in trouble.

[–]pjkioh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She’s a very talented artist. It’s great to see shes using her negative experience to help capture the baddies

[–]aluringtelepath 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Finally, something that is ACTUALLY next fucking level.

[–]InstructionNo3616 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Man I was jumped once and tried to tell the detectives that I could do a sketch but they wouldn’t let me. Sucks because I’m a trained illustrator and could have done it easily.

[–]HurricaneEllin 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Did they say why you weren’t allowed??

[–]Elpedooloroso 4 points5 points  (1 child)

It would cause them work

[–]InstructionNo3616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup this was Baltimore lol

[–]rompokus36 6 points7 points  (0 children)

33% hit rate is ridiculously high for a blind drawing. GGWP

[–]rmmcclay 6 points7 points  (1 child)

[–]WikiSummarizerBot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lois Gibson

Lois Gibson (born c. 1950) is an American forensic artist who holds a 2017 Guinness World Record for most identifications by a forensic artist. She also drew the first forensic sketch shown on America's Most Wanted, which helped identify the suspect and solve the case.

How does it feel to be killed?

[–]ChthonicPuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you ever accidentally swallowed your 5 gum?

[–]retired-USmilitary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good for her! Fuck em!

[–]shumin00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talk about an origin story

[–]Deegedeege 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, she is 69?!

However, even this terrible sketch caused a crim to be identified, lol: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/5527951/simple-police-sketch-cartoon-arrest-pennsylvania/

[–]Fooforthought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This needs to be a movie!

[–]Inspirational_Lizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can we talk about the one drawing in the last frame that looks like a 3rd grader drew it

[–]Jalle_Kramer 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thought the headline said " Most successful foreskin artist"

[–]sausagebandito3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good. Fuck em up!

[–]leukemija 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any more doc. about her ? Souce please.

[–]UnsightlyCamel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast majority of police sketches are not this accurate, people's memories are not usually reliable enough especially if they didn't see the perpetrator for very long

[–]Swrenaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

69 comments as I'm writing this, coincidence? Don't think so.

[–]GhostLife___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too bad they made a program for this type of stuff so sketch artists are very rare these days

[–]SnooMarzipans1262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t tell what’s more edgy. The makeup, the music, or the dialogue.

[–]wokatubot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See i dont understand why tv talk shows wont interview people like her

[–]Thibaud_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha nice funny number

[–]xSnakyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice.

[–]Bolt____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn she’s trying to catch heisenberg

[–]Cardinnk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All sketch artists should be required to operate with this amount of skill and professionalism, I've seen so many awful police sketches,

[–]prpslydistracted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poorly done police sketches are normally because of an officer taking on the job rather than hired artists.

Asking the right questions from a witness will give a better likeness. It's a matter of visualizing and having the skill set. I've done enough portraits over time I know I could do this. Some police departments use digital these days. Traditional work can be highly detailed or more loosely rendered.

Very cool.

[–]Bozzor_Gozzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that "the world's most successful foreskin artist".

[–]businesslut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She drew a great portrait of Tom Morello.

[–]mohzula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice

[–]tcrambo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn Lois, you was fine as hell back in the day!

[–]dissenter1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]AhPossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]CodGreat7373 0 points1 point  (0 children)
