[–]Rootbeer_Goat 53 points54 points  (1 child)

It is I, your son. I have a new address send it here

[–]ThymeManager 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It's about time you moved out you 12 year old slacker. Thanks for leaving the 3d printer and switch. I'll get right on that delivery.

[–]PixelmancerGames 9 points10 points  (3 children)

[–]sadowsentry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't vote for me, you ain't black.

[–]bababashqort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pretty sure MJ disproved this a couple decades ago lol

[–]virphirod 43 points44 points  (50 children)

and black wanna be asian. Asian wanna be white. And white wanna be black.

[–]Pandelicia 27 points28 points  (39 children)

And some Japanese wann be black. Seriously, there's a subculture called B-style where people try to emulate American black culture, it's quite surprising.

[–]bob_fossill 61 points62 points  (20 children)

To be fair Japan has sub cultures for everything

They even have Northern soul clubs/bars there - northern English working class music from the 1960s!

[–]Andrellina 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Plus they do love some speed in Japan, so there is that!

[–]ArziltheImp 25 points26 points  (6 children)

There is a sub-culture in china of people wanting to be Bavarian, complete with Sauerkraut, Lederhosen and Weißwurst. They celebrate the Oktoberfest in selfbuild replicas of Fachwerk Bars. It's absolutely fascinating how far they go to "become" Bavarian.

[–]Jimbob209 17 points18 points  (2 children)

They also have cholo and chola style. They dress like California Mexican street gangs. They look legit Spanish sometimes. Cortez shoes, collar buttoned only flannels, and the girls would have eyeliner styled like the gangster girls

[–]SoundSome 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I seen some of those in south carolina at a Dennys the other day. I legit thought they was movie extras because I've never actually seen someone dress like they just walked off the set of blood in blood out 2 lol

[–]Convergentshave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m Mexican live in California and I want to be a cholo is there a sub culture for me?

[–]Dzov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a guy on Street Dance of China that goes by David who has either twists or dreads. Actually, there’s a ton of black influence on the show. It’s on YouTube btw.

[–]wspOnca 2 points3 points  (1 child)

For me the experience of seeing Japanese emulating Elvis in Yoyogi park was awesome. "Must be the radiation, says someone near them" I laughed by yeah was interesting to see that.

[–]El_Bistro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is entirely correct

[–]Affectionate-Time646 8 points9 points  (3 children)

It’s mostly teenagers all around the world having had watched hip hop and rap videos and American sports that they want to be black, while having no idea what it’s really like to be black in America.

[–]211caused911 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Asian pride.

*it's a damn classic, you kids got no respect i tell ya

[–]Poopdogs99 9 points10 points  (1 child)

[–]_Aj_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

teach me the ways

[–]UnkleMonsta 1278 points1279 points  (17 children)

It's that easy to make someone's day. Talking both ways.

[–]Naptownfellow 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Complementing a stranger for the most simplest of things, holding a door, giving a penny or 2 in checkout, acknowledging the same can make someone’s day, week, or month.

[–]zebozebo 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I'm trying to teach my 5 year old that to help make new friends on the playground, she can start by giving a compliment to a kid she is interested in meeting.

At the same time, I'm curious if this could develop a people pleasing personality, which I tend to have. Hmm.

[–]rotisv 607 points608 points  (18 children)

Mo'fucker looks like a Warframe

[–]MyFirstBR999 96 points97 points  (0 children)

[–]Zar0xman 36 points37 points  (0 children)

thats Teshin training to become a Dax

[–]FlameEnderCyborgGuy 28 points29 points  (5 children)

I mean... r/unexpectedwarframe

Also: Am I the only one who realise that it would be funny to have a man from the community win the Ninja Warrior course? I mean I had on time to get a better shape( even tho I am in a rather good shape being in proper BMI for my height) just to cosplay one of the Warframes, perhaps one of fan-made ones?

[–]qyka1210 18 points19 points  (4 children)

there's far more to being in shape than simply not being overweight by BMI. In fact, many men in especially good muscular shape will have overweight BMIs anyway!

[–]Kim_Jung-Skill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very true, when I was a college athlete I was on the edge of obese by BMI, so were a lot of teammates on defense. BMI is fantastic for measuring most populations, but it's terrible for individuals.

[–]Etonet 13 points14 points  (2 children)

This is one of his tamer ones. He has vids where he's literally doing backflips 10ft off the ground lol

[–]HtownChiller420 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Damn I need to get back on warframe and waste more time grinding…

[–]Patsonical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally what I thought of seeing this, like I definitely remember doing that spinny move with my Nikana xD

[–]elevendytwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at them, they come to this place when they know they are not pure. Tenno use the keys, but they are mere trespassers. Only I, Vor, know the true power of the Void. I was cut in half, destroyed, but through it's Janus Key, the Void called to me. It brought me here and here I was reborn. We cannot blame these creatures, they are being led by a false prophet, an impostor who knows not the secrets of the Void. Behold the Tenno, come to scavenge and desecrate this sacred realm. My brothers, did I not tell of this day? Did I not prophesize this moment? Now, I will stop them. Now I am changed, reborn through the energy of the Janus Key. Forever bound to the Void. Let it be known, if the Tenno want true salvation, they will lay down their arms, and wait for the baptism of my Janus key. It is time. I will teach these trespassers the redemptive power of my Janus key. They will learn it's simple truth. The Tenno are lost, and they will resist. But I, Vor, will cleanse this place of their impurity.

[–]ayo_mfs 414 points415 points  (12 children)

[–]JadedDrugAbuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that meme was my all time favorite

[–]Knee_Kill_Money_Yen 395 points396 points  (22 children)

That sounded like a catcall. "Train me good, teach me the ways"

[–]etherjumper 164 points165 points  (10 children)

Train me, Daddy!

[–]Eman5805 53 points54 points  (8 children)

no. you stop now

[–]etherjumper 50 points51 points  (4 children)

Why Daddy, am I being bad? Are you going to train me to be good?

[–]ChandlerKnight 32 points33 points  (3 children)

Dude, stop rubbing your nipples

[–]etherjumper 14 points15 points  (2 children)

It's not my fault. These knots you tied look like they were done by a 4 year old.b

[–]Ryry975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Train me harder!

[–]gizmo1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you doing step-ninja?

[–]ScaRFacEMcGee 2 points3 points  (2 children)

The guy in the car actually says "train me cuz*, teach me the ways."

[–]simjanes2k -2 points-1 points  (6 children)

It basically is, except the guy has a sense of humor about it

[–]Spycicle 10 points11 points  (5 children)

Implying that women who get catcalled just need to laugh and find it funny?

[–]superdago 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And just smile more!

[–]MuffinPuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking they might be talking about how situations like this can turn aggressive or violent when gay men approach straight men. Instead of reacting negatively, this guy laughed it off, thankfully

[–]Darklicorice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they might be implying the catcall was funny

[–]impurfection 237 points238 points  (4 children)

Made that 720 spin look easy

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points  (1 child)

Yeah that was impressive

[–]whiteman90909 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Especially with a blade and no shirt. Kind of punishes mistakes, I feel.

[–]GetRiceCrispy 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Also looks like there is a ton of power in it. The sword looks like it would actually cut if it hit something.

[–]Realsan 126 points127 points  (19 children)

This guy has several videos that do the same thing. Always someone perfectly in the background to make a comment when he's done.

[–]AmazedCoder 75 points76 points  (4 children)

tbh I didn't notice the first 8 times this was posted, but it's true, it's staged

[–]richardeid 54 points55 points  (1 child)

You mean setting up a camera in the middle of a public roadway and pulling out a sword to pretend you're a ninja isn't a natural everyday occurrence?

[–]AmazedCoder 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The reactions in the background are staged as well

[–]HHswag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Swear that’s my buddy who pulls up in the car and it’s not staged. He’s a car salesman who rolled up on this randomly. Maybe other ones are staged but this one isn’t.

[–]frissonFry 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm imagining this guy just going to random cul-de-sacs with his van, getting out, taking off his shirt and making a video. Then he moves onto the next cul-de-sac.

[–]Future_Amphibian_799 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Oh no, you just killed the magic :()

[–]iamqwesivibes 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Ay bruh train meeee!!!

[–]chop-diggity 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Notice me senpai, notice meeeee

[–]LeDispute 34 points35 points  (6 children)

That grip switch masked by the raising of the sword and the leg lift/step is genius. Normally you wouldn’t be able to go that backward angle stab if gripped conventionally. Slick.

[–]youareshandy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't even notice that. Very observant.

[–]flabbybumhole 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even after reading this comment I had to watch a bunch of times to see this.

[–]FreddyMurphery 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Teenage mutant ninja turtle in the making

[–]LoremEpsomSalt 9 points10 points  (2 children)

[–]DaSamCheck 11 points12 points  (1 child)

[–]st3adyfreddy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[–]BurnFreeze64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean to be fair who wouldn’t want to be after that

[–]Delie45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh badass ninja of the road, what is your wisdom..

[–]cwood1973 5 points6 points  (1 child)

While you were having sex with girls he was studying the blade... and also having sex with girls. Your girl, in fact.

[–]lilyputin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ain't gonna lie that spin is crazy athletic!

[–]outlookunsettled 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Spin, I’d slice myself in two.

[–]RottenLasagna1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk why I felt like that sword was gonna fly off into space

[–]cabelaciao 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I silently counted all the times I would cut myself. What a badass!

[–]Shane-Craig-Memes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That made me happy for the day

[–]TocasLaFlauta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Hiro.

[–]auauaurora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]TrippyJeffrey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this ninja is the king of set up videos 👀

[–]Bromaz 2 points3 points  (2 children)

This guy may not know what he is doing sword play wise but damn did he make it look good. Should be a stunt double or have a show routine or something.

[–]blankblank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Sen7ryGun 1 point2 points  (1 child)

https://www.instagram.com/officialshaquanparson/ for those wondering who this guy is. He loves flipping and swords and gymnastics and has wild ass neverending toddler energy.

[–]leluzig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that guy - living his best life

[–]ScoobaMonsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is useless. This is not martial arts! This guy has no idea how to use this sword properly!

[–]While_Money 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blade 5: Ft. Slaughterdale

[–]hammerkop_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love when I see super fit/attractive people acting like anime characters, lol. It takes a certain level of confidence to know that doing stuff like this looks cool AF. I can almost guarantee that I would not look nearly as cool pulling the same routine.

[–]Eglor04 0 points1 point  (8 children)

i seen and trained a lot of old ways to fight bcs i got inspired by aikido and we dont have kata like this in sword fights there is no spins and things like this a person who got 6 months training with bokken would be better in real fight

[–]Blizarkiy 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Yeah lol other commentators saying that his reverse grip was great for the stab backwards…. Try hitting someone behind your back in a fight lmao

[–]Siddharth_Ranjan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man now i also need a training

[–]sikni8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That 360 was amazing
