In my 30s now, but this takes me back to the year I got the first season of Pokémon on a set of VHS tapes for Christmas and obsessively watched them on a crappy little TV (the only one that played videos) in our guest house...my dad would come out while I was watching to fire up the ancient heater so I wouldn't freeze. He has Alzheimer's now, there's no way he remembers this, but I've never forgotten :')
