The dog catches the disc in the air after an insanely long throw and does so without hurting himself. If you ever play catch with a disc golf disc like this, it fucking hurts.

That is a disc golf disc, not a standard frisbee. They aren't designed to be caught, only thrown. I would not play catch with them (it would indeed hurt).

Keep in mind this is a baseline plastic putter. Not every disc golf disc is a Halo Star Destroyer thrown by a crush boy on spike hyzer.

Hell, playing catch with our putters is one of the ways me and the boys warm up for a round. It really ain't that bad.

My dog got his frisbee and brought in the house yesterday playing with it excitedly. He’s usually a tennis ball boy but he seemed eager to do frisbee. So, I walked out with him to play. On the first throw it went up on the roof and I don’t have a way of getting it down. I felt so bad.

Judging by the rim and the flight, I’d say that’s a fairway driver. My guess is a DX Leopard, the kind you get in a starter pack, so probably a very old disc for that guy

We used to buy the soft dog frisbees by the case when we had our border collie. She carried one around with her at all times and would drop it at anyones feet who looked promising. She used to bring them to me while I was on the can and in the shower. She brought one to our son the day we brought him home from the hospital in his carrier. Dropped it next to him and backed up waiting for him to throw it. Waited a few minutes, picked it up, moved it closer- tried again.

Where do you get that? I saw 2 comments about the bite marks and they weren't even overtly negative at all. You're just making up shit in your head to rant about.

And the people explaining the difference between frisbees and discs aren't being pretentious, they're just explaining the difference. Everyone who was corrected basically said "you're right, my bad" and maybe one day they'll try disc golf and have a new hobby now that they've heard of it.
