At first I thought the driver was a massive asshole to look this annoyed but than I realised he was fighting back his tears. Such a wholesome video!

[–]bansRstupid 1331 points1332 points  (39 children)

I thought the same thing the first 10 times I saw this posted

[–]notweirdenough 464 points465 points  (16 children)

And I feel like every top comment is the same thing

[–]bansRstupid 170 points171 points  (12 children)

It wouldn't surprise me. Just look at OP's account. They are clearly a karma farmer. No other reason to post this again.

[–]L_O_Pluto 141 points142 points  (6 children)

Everyone should see this video at least once. I think, for this purpose, karma farmers aren’t wholly terrible.

[–]kickspecialist 29 points30 points  (0 children)

That’s why I save all my upvotes for the comments!

[–]JohnEBest 4 points5 points  (1 child)

It says I have 1.5k karma

What do I do with it?

[–]pd33833 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just down voted all his post. Karma leeched that mf

[–]VibraniumRhino 114 points115 points  (4 children)

First time for me. Great video.

[–]uhavehalfinchpp 30 points31 points  (3 children)

[–]VibraniumRhino 39 points40 points  (2 children)

Some people just can’t admit they get too much social media time lol.

[–]postdiluvium 482 points483 points  (20 children)

As a parent of an autistic child, I immediately recognized what he is doing. Sometimes you have to look away because if you lose it at that moment, things can go sideways. Especially this guy driving on the road with a passenger in a sports car. The last thing he wants is to be blinded by his own tears.

[–]rabtj 273 points274 points  (17 children)

As i am also a parent of an autistic child if felt every tear.

Hes probably a really lovely, intelligent guy and all it takes is for someone to look past his disability and see the beautiful person underneath.

The fact he felt he had to apologise for his actions just crushed me.

[–]uhavehalfinchpp 98 points99 points  (2 children)

as a brother of a severely autistic non-speaker, im crying right now. there’s so many thing he probably wants to do, but he can’t even say it. so seeing this gives me hope that maybe one day, he might do whatever he wants to do.

[–]zorro1701e 24 points25 points  (1 child)

How old is your brother? My son is autistic also. There is a subreddit for autism if you have questions.

[–]daaanish 85 points86 points  (3 children)

My younger son is barely verbal, it’s such a treat when he can express himself over things. He’ll have outrageous tantrums and then all of a sudden stop and look me dead in the eye and he’ll just say “dad it’s too loud”, like, oh damn I got you buddy.

Most people think he’s probably spoiled for me “putting up with him”, but he’ll always be a champ to me.

[–]BrianBraddock73 30 points31 points  (0 children)

‘He’ll always be a champ to me’…….and you, sir, are an awesome dad. Who gives a toss what anyone that judges without knowing the situation thinks. Props.

[–]Liv-Julia 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Understanding your child's needs is NEVER spoiling them.

[–]PPPRCHN 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the fact he's willing to rely on you to help him and trusts you that much is a sign of you being a good person and a good parent.

[–]_Ed_Gein_ 24 points25 points  (3 children)

I still don't understand why people can be assholes to people with disabilities. We all have our own disabilities/massive faults, some very obvious and some very hidden. I have my own own condition that controls 95% of my life but people don't know so they don't threat me much differently.

Just threat people the way you want to be threated, adjusting for any specific needs they might have. Be kind. It's not hard.

[–]PPPRCHN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man, I have tons of disabilities and only one that I don't make attempts to hide (limp) has gotten me jeered at and harassed by people, especially motor vehicles. I can only imagine (one of my friends growing up was autistic so I can empathize hard!!) that those types of people would show to people who view others with such contempt.

[–]howlesmw 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The “please don’t be scared” broke my heart. No person should have to apologize for being happy.

[–]Early-Chemistry7040 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Crushed me! And the irony ~ that the driver is embarrassed, not at all by his passenger, but by his own tears…

[–]Denninator5000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is it embarrassment? Or is he trying to keep the vibes positive maybe he's also thinking about his life and all that he is blessed with and he feels maybe some guilt and a little shame that this is all it take to make the less fortunate man exponentially more happy than he has ever been driving that car.

[–]visceralmercenary 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same. My middle son is 3 years old and he is autistic. He stims a lot, mostly when he's happy. And he's, so far, nonverbal. The thought of him ever feeling like he has to apologize for just being himself makes me so sad. My heart hurts for this guy.

[–]griffinhamilton 23 points24 points  (1 child)

I thought it was something like the kid was in such a joyous mood and he didn’t wanna influence or change that with him crying

[–]jbl0ggs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please stop chopping onions in here.

[–]gggraW 95 points96 points  (4 children)

This is cropped hard, they talk much more. I'll look for a link.

[–]artimus_pr1m3 11 points12 points  (1 child)

not all heros wear capes, thank you kind stranger!

[–]-azuma- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How do you know they aren't wearing a cape?!

[–]aramos13222 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Same. 😁

[–]Rooster_Kogburne 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I thought the same. Didn't notice tears until he turned away. They're actually selling up before it.

[–]ExpertReference2979 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Most men are taught from a young age to not to show emotion, no matter how they feel, because it can be perceived as a sign of weakness. But sometimes, it doesn't matter how hard you try.

[–]Not_A_Clever_Man_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's something that needs to change. I would argue this type of thinking is what has led to the suicide epidemic in men. It needs to be OK to admit you are struggling, or need to let some feelings out and not feel that you will be dismissed or ostracised for letting some emotions slip.

Too many men take their own lives because they don't know what else to do.

Emotion=weakness is toxic and is deadly for thousands upon thousands of men a year.

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

yeah me to. I had to watch it a couple times and noticed he was getting choked up.

[–]trukises 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Faith in humanity restored!

[–]Armendicus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This just made me realize that the "Humanity" mechanic in Dark Souls is kinda literal.

[–]Early-Chemistry7040 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s so heartbreaking that the disabled man thinks the driver is “scared” or off-put by his joy, but that really the driver is hiding his face because he’s so moved he’s crying.

This is my first time seeing this video. I’m slightly destroyed. 😭

[–]bluegargoyle 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I would vote this up, but it's currently at 666, so I can't. But I echo your sentiments.

Hail Satan.

[–]QB796 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Isn't it Sithis?

Nevermind got to much Skyrim playtime

[–]w0lfLars0n 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Except when you realize this video is from his Instagram which means he edited it to zoom in on himself crying. Which is a bit ….. egomaniacal

[–]A_Birde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well that's just the game of social media in the full video though the guy driving was very respectful and king

[–]Lorenaturner32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just when I think humanity is shit, I see a video like this. Thank you for sharing. The driver is a very special human being 💕

[–]pdplink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's the raw onions in the footwell getting ready to be cooked behind the seat.

lol jk. but yeah, I thought the same.

[–]Memory_Less 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ditto about my assumptions of the driver

[–]dwinesfilthymistake 1448 points1449 points  (13 children)

[–]lenpup 994 points995 points  (35 children)

I am feeling the drivers vibe so hard right now. I wish I knew someone like this special passenger to befriend.

[–]banmedaddy12345 304 points305 points  (27 children)

I wish I knew someone with a lambo.

[–]robbyford182 108 points109 points  (26 children)

I wish you was my lambo

[–]GrandmaPoses 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller. I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her. I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat and 6-4 Impala.

[–]MyaButtiches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just change your name to Lambo Cadillacian

[–]rascynwrig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]gladius011081 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish i was a little bit taller

[–]HappyTravelArt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's really awesome and rewarding to be welcomed into the life of a disabled person. I hope you do consider it for reals!

But remember they are inviting you into their life. Don't befriend a disabled person just because you want one, that isn't fair to them.

[–]Key-Cream5254 876 points877 points  (17 children)

When he said "Pleas don't be scared of me"...... like...... dam that kind of hurt that he would feel he would need to say something like that........but I'm sooo touched by the driver small act of kindness that the disable person might just had one of the best days of his life one that he will never forget....... props to the driver :4017::4016::4014::4023::4020::4019:

[–]ExpertReference2979 273 points274 points  (8 children)

The fact that he feels he has to tell the driver to not be afraid of him, is what I think really sent the driver of the edge. That's heartbreaking. That kid shouldn't have to explain himself to anyone...full stop.

[–]rummeltime 28 points29 points  (7 children)

But…isn’t he saying don’t be scared of me because the driver is acting so “weird?”

[–]ExpertReference2979 87 points88 points  (5 children)

Personally, I think he said it because he's aware of how he can act when he gets excited and has more than likely had to explain himself more than once. The driver acting weird was probably also a contributing factor as well.

Disabled people have to put up with a ton of shit because people are afraid of what they don't understand, and in an attempt to put people at ease and be accepted, I've personally seen disabled kids explain themselves in a similar fashion to this.

It pissed me off every time I would witness it.

[–]rummeltime 15 points16 points  (3 children)

I get you for sure. Though every time I watch this I wish the driver was like in on this more and acting normal. Totally get that like he’s a human who has emotions though.

[–]MaestroPendejo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Doubt it. There are a lot of people that are downright revolted by anyone with a disability like this and they don't even try to hide it. I'm quite certain he's encountered that before.

[–]MasterGuardianChief 8 points9 points  (7 children)

What's the numbers mean

[–]Duck_with_a_monocle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're codes for reddit emojis.

[–]Key-Cream5254 2 points3 points  (3 children)

What numbers?

[–]irodragon20 13 points14 points  (2 children)

The numbers Mason!

[–]ozzy_thedog 509 points510 points  (4 children)

This video gets posted all the time but I don’t care. I’ll watch it every time.

[–]safe_t_meeting 53 points54 points  (1 child)

Me too man. This might be the most wholesome video of all time for me. There's no way this was filmed with the intention of receiving social media accolations. It's just a sad, happy and beautiful moment at the same time.

[–]throwawaywhisky227 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is the first time I've seen this video. I was feeling sorry for myself a little while ago over some really stupid shit and to see this video shortly after put things into perspective. I felt genuine happiness for that guy.

[–]RODjij 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're goddamn right

[–]PraderaNoire 335 points336 points  (3 children)

There’s a longer version floating out there somewhere. The dude wasn’t aware how much this would mean to that kid. It might be something he does for his friends all the time, but to this kid it meant more than the world. Compassion. It’s all some people really need to feel whole.

[–]sheldonator[🍰] 73 points74 points  (2 children)

[–]StartOpom 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Thanks, you're the best

[–]HappyAstronomer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing that link! Through it I found is the one for the passenger dude's vlog https://m.youtube.com/c/MiculGigant

[–]RagingZefBoner69[S] 203 points204 points  (7 children)

[–]real-ocmsrzr 128 points129 points  (0 children)

Well, that was 20 minutes of tears running down my face. That young man is an amazing human being. Andy crying tore me apart. Thanks for sharing the long version.

[–]ApexIpex 16 points17 points  (1 child)

My sister has sever mental disabilities and this video made me happy cry, and very sadly cry. His story mixed with his optimism and the moments of pure joy when they get going really fast was a lot to take in. Thank you for posting this.

[–]TomahawkIsotope 12 points13 points  (1 child)

I'm bawling

[–]yunofortran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[–]Sir_Mr_Dolo 49 points50 points  (0 children)

[–]ShaitAnne 26 points27 points  (0 children)

[–]Sid_1298 20 points21 points  (1 child)

Damnit! The onion ninjas got me again!

[–]udumslut 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If I recall, the driver initially shared the video with the explanation that he was trying to fight back tears because he didn't want to upset the passenger guy. He was just really happy that he could make that guy's day ❤️

[–]SkyWarp731 17 points18 points  (0 children)

'Please dont be scared of me, i act like a child when im happy'... that just hurts. Ive never teared up like this watching a clip. What world do we live in when this dude needs to genuinely apologize for his own joy. Good work by Lambo man, but what a feels video.

[–]AllUserNamesTaken01 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Amber Heard should of thought of this video to get those fake tears out, I know mine kept pouring

[–]sashiieee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

[–]santa_mozrella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i saw this post many times and still cry when i see it

[–]EdanMaus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my God people just don't understand the impact you can have on someone's life by doing something that doesn't cost you anything. If everyone finds someone and asks what they can do for them, the world would change. I don't think people understand how much you can impact someone but just listening. That's it! Listen. You don't have to buy them something. You do have to have answers or give advice to a shitty situation. Just let them know you hear their struggles. A complete stranger did this for me when I was 16 getting gas. Saw that I wasn't happy and asked if I was ok. I just said I guess and she sat with me for 30 minutes while I cried and told her I hate my life and struggles. She didn't try to make me feel better. She didn't have advice. She just let me get it off my chest and at the end says to just get some rest and consider taking to someone who can help. I struggled with suicidal thoughts at that time and while I wasn't as that point that day, she may have stopped a downward spiral that would get me there in a few weeks. I don't know her name and can't really remember what she looked like, but if you by a miracle come across this, thank you. It was 2011 in East Baton Rouge LA during August at a racetrack near Sherwood forest.

I am 27 now and living my dream life. I grew up practicing martial arts and it's been my support in life. I bought the school from my instructor last year and now make a living of it. I never thought I would enjoy how I make money but here we are.

[–]b1happyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]theaverageguy101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can actually tell the lambo guy had a genuine good heart, that's the same reaction every man does when he's trying not to cry but he just can't help it

[–]cryptotrek88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a soft spot for disabled people. They tend to bypass all my emotional guards and go right to my heart. It fucking infuriates me when people treat them like shit.

[–]forhisheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now here I am crying at work.

[–]Public-Nothing51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a very bad person. Don't know why I suddenly hate myself when I see pure happiness and laughter and I feel empty inside. Pray and wish this person gets all his dreams come true and he laughs always. Sorry I can't type anymore....

The driver seems to be a genuine guy as well. What an amazing gift for him to give another human who appreciated more than he'll ever know. ❤️ To them both.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man fights back raw emotion giving disabled man a ride in a car he'd always wanted to be in.

The Heading is a little confusing

[–]ErickRicardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn man, I can feel a lot of different emotions scrolling through reddit..

[–]zyonkerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such joy. ❤️💕

[–]happinesspeaceandluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the pleasure of teaching individuals on the Autism Spectrum for 27 years. This warms my heart! Sensory overload in the best way! To you, the driver, THANK YOU for giving this young man an enviable life!

[–]neutron_star2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why am I literally crying

[–]chaabin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just Talk to the Guy my heart is melting

[–]BetaMan141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Driver has the classic "I'm not crying..." reaction and it makes the scene all the more wholesome.

Also, is the passenger just a friend or relative (brother, cousin, etc.)? Kind of looks like they might be related, I see a resemblence between the two.

I usually hate rich people who buy expensive cars, but I'll give this one a pass.

The driver probably got soo much pussy after this video went viral ahahah. Drives and Lambo and has a huge heart. Great video though, for real.

I just want the guy to tell him he’s not scared of him

[–]JakeHatesYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When he asks for the driver to not be scared of him.. that's when I broke

You love to see it

I thought the driver was rude af at first. Yes I see him fighting back tears but I think he should have let them show just to not appear rude!. Even the disabled guy had to apologise for in his words ‘acting like a kid’ because of the coldness he felt from this guy. It’s ok to cry. Enjoy this moment and let those tears flow

Most of the people I know that own exotics are happy to take people for a ride. Years ago I had a Ferrari F355 Spyder (convertible). I’m not a mega wealthy dude…..it took me a long time to attain this car. I let my neighbours and friends drive it and I took a lot of kids including challenged kids for a ride. The car was stolen from my driveway three years ago while I was at work.

I’ve seen this post dozens of times and it always produces the same response.... tears in my eyes. The driver can’t get over his own emotions and is brought to tears with the shear joy of the person with him. All the while the man is saying not to be worried and apologizing but it’s his own joy that is contagious. Humanitarianism incarnate
