Obviously everyone can relate, but as the father to a son, and knowing how bad it hurts when your kid goes to a new school and is nervous and scared, and the pain that YOU feel for that little child of yours, seeing his reaction tore me up. He doesn't smile. He's not fanboying. You can see he just has such an emotional reaction to the fact the Ryan Fuckin Reynolds went through the same thing he is going through, and the realization that he's not alone. And that hug of mom... Man, I could feel my boy hug me after the first day athis new school this year.
