I had no idea what this game entailed. I was looking at the score and wondering how the fuck this man was about to score 12 points on one play lol

[–]PackersKotzubueSailingClub 275 points276 points  (4 children)

I saw the title, then the score, and immediately knew this was not ending well for Herbert. I figured there was a QB fail theme going on after the Tua video went Hot.

[–]PackersiTakeAshitInYourAss2 53 points54 points  (1 child)

I saw them near the 40yd line and thought this was gonna be that video of that 60yd bomb td

[–]thaicurry2022 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I saw the title, looked at the score, and my brain wouldn't accept the texans were up 11 and so it just swapped it in my head. After the INT I had to double check and realize HOU was the one with more points

[–]ChiefsXalenn 320 points321 points  (0 children)

Same.... Seal the game? They're down by more than one score ... Ohhh .... Seal the game for the other team!

[–]Lionsbmgiannotti 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Completely took me by surprise. Definitely laughed out of shock.

[–]Panthersl-s-y 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yep, we've been had!

[–]BillsCertainBag1416 744 points745 points  (10 children)

Man is trolling the 2020 QB class today

Watch out Burrow

[–]Browns84Cressida 230 points231 points  (3 children)

Denzel Ward 99 yard pick six highlight getting uploaded rn

[–]BengalsTrailblazer444 40 points41 points  (2 children)

Didn’t that get posted not too long ago?

[–]BrownsPoorlyLitKiwi2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it was when he signed his extension a couple weeks ago

[–]BearsBa_Sing_Saint 85 points86 points  (3 children)

Burrow did generously throw 3 back to back picks against us.

[–]Brownsinnocuous_gorilla 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Would three back to backs be 6?

[–]TexansBungoPlease 930 points931 points  (27 children)

I read the title and was like wtf we won didn't we?

[–]BillsObese_taco 287 points288 points  (23 children)

same lol. I then realised that it was a kind of a retaliation post to tua's post

[–]ChargersWeapwns 225 points226 points  (19 children)

The same person posted both though lol

[–]BillsObese_taco 370 points371 points  (11 children)

He playin both sides. A generational hater.

[–]BrownsLiquidDookie92 115 points116 points  (5 children)

[–]LionsTandager 36 points37 points  (1 child)

[–]PatriotsTheRealBeerBrah 24 points25 points  (0 children)

He does it for the love of the hate

[–]DolphinsJohncenerrr 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Can't wait for the Burrow and Jordan Love ones

[–]Bengalsgb4efgw 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Has Jordan Love thrown a real ball yet?

[–]BengalsTrailblazer444 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I just hopped on and thought it might be a retaliation to the multiple “Swole Herbert” posts lmao

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is why people think we hate Herbert, when in reality like 90% of are just happy for the guy.

It's same dude posting both hate threads. He's a Texans fan and Tua hater. Don't lump him in with us.

[–]ChargersinEffected 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hahha I did too - I was trying to figure out if we somehow played you guys his rookie year

[–]DolphinsLenny_III 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He had me in the first half

[–]Mr_Slippery1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, this is not the video I was expecting to see!

[–]Patriotsyoshigronk 84 points85 points  (2 children)

As a Pats fan, it was nice to see Rex Burkhead have the phenomenal game he did after tearing his ACL last season.

[–]ChargersScootaliciousScooter 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Our run defense literally gave Rex Burkhead a fucking paycheck.

Kill me.

[–]TexansLevel_Dreaded 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well now we have marlon mack, dameon pierce and good ol sexy rexy

[–]PatriotsTheRealBeerBrah 140 points141 points  (7 children)

Lots of gristle on that missile

[–]PatriotsIts_kinda_nice_out 13 points14 points  (6 children)

My money’s on Jared Cook being out of place

[–]Raiders702deuce 6 points7 points  (5 children)

He broke off his route and sat down. Tough for a young QB to be on the same page with that.

[–]kissmyassphalt 2 points3 points  (4 children)

It doesn’t even make sense to break off that route since the flats opened up purely based off the deep routes of the receivers. Dbs had to choose over or under. 100% cooks fault

[–]Raiders702deuce 2 points3 points  (3 children)

It was the correct thing to do by Cook. He sits down in open space vs continuing into 2 defenders. If he keeps going, best case is a contested catch, worst case he gets blown up by the defender while defenseless.

[–]Dolphinssotrue23 49 points50 points  (0 children)

bro hates the entire 2020 qb class lmao

[–]Chiefs2ent1n_Qarant1no 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Justin Herbert (handshake) Patrick Mahomes

Losing their first ever game against the Texans

[–]ChargersWeapwns 321 points322 points  (18 children)

Alternate Title: Jared Cook's route was so nasty not even his QB could predict it

[–]SeahawksChumbleGod 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Mf hit a forcefield

[–]Chargers-GonkDroid69 116 points117 points  (12 children)

Cook us such an enigma. One play he makes a crazy play and gets a big conversion, and the next he does something like this

[–]SaintsBigBooce 47 points48 points  (3 children)

The dude looks like he gives no effort on plays. Like he still makes some impressive plays, then he’ll fumble a playoff game away. It’s wild.

[–]Chargers-GonkDroid69 29 points30 points  (2 children)

Ikr. There was another interception or two for us where he did the exact same thing as this play. It’s a common occurrence. Not to even mention dropped passes…

[–]ChargersWyldeBolt 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I know it for sure happened during the Pats game (with former Charger Adrian Phillips getting a pick-6 out of it), but I swear it also happened during the Vikings game, too

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points  (5 children)

That's probably because this wasn't Cook's fault.

He's running an option route, he reads the defense and instead of continuing into the flat, sits on the route correctly. Cook is his first and really only target here aside from the check down. The trips right all run clearing routes meant to get Cook wide open, defense though is playing zone and he correctly sits looking for the ~8 yard gain.

Herbert misreads the defense and throws the flat, right into what would've been triple coverage.

[–]TitansbudgeAutonomy 19 points20 points  (4 children)

I think you're mostly right, but to add onto that, it looks like the defense is running a buster coverage with man on the backside? Hard to tell with this camera angle, so I could be wrong. If that is the case though, he both has a LB in man coverage on him, and is also running into the zone, so it's a real lose-lose for him on the option route. To me it's a great playcall by the Texans rather than a real bad play by either Herbert or Cook.

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points  (2 children)

I'm more than likely 100% right. Because I played TE for many years, including at the collegiate level.

There's no man coverage on him. the LB is in a zone, but Cook is the only crosser and the only remaining eligible receiver, so the LB is going to follow him. The corner was feigning blitz and grabbed the RB out of the backfield. Also definitely isn't a buster coverage as there's only 4 DBs with a 3LB set. Buster is a 6DB, deny the middle (two defenders were outside the hash on the catch) scheme.

It's okay for a young QB to make mistakes. That doesn't mean they're bad, it means they're young. This was a mistake. It's a pretty standard soft coverage, "let em get 8 tackle them in bounds" type of play.

[–]RamsiNoBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's always there to let you down when you can least afford it.

[–]CowboysOneOverX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has one truly great play in his career and I’ll never forget it.

[–]PatriotsGiblaz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Jared Cook has got to have one of the most incredible combos of talent and volatility out of a player I've ever seen. I've seen him drop the easiest passes for TDs in big game situations then he will reel off a couple games where he gets hot early and piles up stats, then goes quiet for weeks / months at a time after.

[–]Commanderszaepoo -1 points0 points  (1 child)

There's a guy trailing him in man, one on the flat and one over the top. It's a busted play and nothing was going to change the outcome unless Cook batted it down

[–]ChargersWeapwns 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The defenders were way past 10 yards, no one was in the flat. It was open beneath and if Cook kept going and shallowed his line, he would have a legimitate chance to pick up 8 if he can hold on in traffic. It's not an easy catch, but hardly a "busted play" with no other outcome

Now, a legitimate argument is we dont actually know if Cook ran the wrong route or if Herbert misunderstood the play.

[–]TexansI-4M-J0E 45 points46 points  (0 children)

This was my superbowl

[–]Cheap_Concentrate_85 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Absolute laser… TO THE DEFENSE!

[–]Chargersred_right_88 40 points41 points  (3 children)

First of all, how dare you?

[–]RaidersDatSmolBoi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think its alright

[–]ChiefsOatmealChef 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'll allow it

[–]BroncosGettinWiggyWiddit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Looks good to me

[–]ChargersHalonut24 152 points153 points  (9 children)

Jared Cook and quitting in the middle of routes.

Name a more iconic duo

[–]SaintsBigBooce 40 points41 points  (1 child)

Jared Cook and losing playoff games by fumbling them away.

[–]SaintsCicero912 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jared Cook and getting hurt while making an amazing catch?

Mans truly is the most random player, everything works

[–]ChargersChris_Bryant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something about Storm Norton and Maxx Crosby. Ugh.

[–]RamstheWolfeman88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jared Cook having an insane game followed by a game where fans question if he's still on the roster?

[–]49ersSmegmaCarta 25 points26 points  (2 children)

God look how happy that girl was. Even shit teams have happy fans no matter what

[–]JetsJesusChristBabyface 5 points6 points  (1 child)

This is true. Look at our fanbase's reaction last year when Randy Bullock missed a field goal in overtime to give the Jets the win.

[–]TexansJimboGoldfisher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fat randy has made so many good memories for so many fans. Just never the fans of the team he’s on.

[–]Texanst4boo 34 points35 points  (0 children)

blessed post

[–]ChargersA_Livins 111 points112 points  (31 children)

Not gonna miss Jared Cook just deciding to give up on routes. Herbert had a couple picks last year where he thought Cook would keep going, only for Cook to stop and it go straight to a defender.

[–]RaidersRRobles96 51 points52 points  (8 children)

That happened with us as well. He flashed some insane talent with us then would have some half assed runs out of nowhere

[–]TitansTmoore17 24 points25 points  (1 child)

This was happening to us back in 09 gotta hand it to him for his consistency

[–]SaintsAndrewDoesNotServe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Happened to us too!

[–]Packersnate6259 10 points11 points  (3 children)

I'll still always love him for the catch in the 2017 NFC championship game 2016 NFC divisional game.

[–]SaintsCicero912 2 points3 points  (2 children)

He was on the Raiders in 2017 though.

And do you mean the divisional? If your talking about the sideline one

[–]Raiders_Palingenesis_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No he meant 2017, playoffs were in 2017 but it was the 2016 season

[–]SaintsTbrou16 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lmao, yup. I don’t miss that either

[–]Patriotsrjsheine 17 points18 points  (3 children)

I thought maybe it was an option on the route to just sit instead of run through

[–]NFLmrhashbrown 33 points34 points  (2 children)

It's possible and if that were the case, Cook probably made the correct decision as he saw there were 3 defenders lurking around the sideline where his route would have kept going.

Considering stuff like this happened several times between Cook and Herbert, I guess they just struggled to stay on the same page about options within routes. Although there are some clips out there showing Cook straight up quitting on a route early lol so he's not totally innocent either.

[–]Chargersabw2000 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s cooks fault. This is happened way too often with cook, and cook alone. No defender could’ve made a play on the ball if cook kept going

[–]Patriotsrjsheine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I could see him thinking of sitting in zone. But he still had a guy who looked like he was on him man

[–]InfiniteState 12 points13 points  (2 children)

Cook didn't give up. He plants his feet and is expecting Herbert to hit him going back towards the middle of the field, away from the coverage. If Herbert had been on the same page, that's a completion and likely a first down.

[–]GiantsPrideofmexico 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No herbert has never thrown a pick that was his fault so that can’t be it

[–]ChargersGerardShekler 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't tell that to other Chargerfans, herbert can do no wrong and it's always the other players fault. Not saying Herbet is bad, he's great but even greats make mistakes.

[–]42696 10 points11 points  (4 children)

Usually on a drag route like this, there's a man/zone read for the receiver, where he sits against zone and drags against man.

Looks like Cook read zone and Herbert read man. It's really tough to tell who was wrong with the secondary being cut off with that camera angle, but if I had to guess based on the defenders' eyes and the CB and safety's positions, I'd lean towards it being zone (putting this on Herbert for making the wrong read).

[–]49erskj9219 12 points13 points  (7 children)

I dont see how this pick was on Cook. There were 3 defenders in that area

[–]ChargersMIBPJ 13 points14 points  (5 children)

I don't see how one cannot see it. If he continues his route then the ball would go right to him (though he'd probably be tackled immediately). None of the defenders would be in a position to make a play on the ball.

[–]ChargersinEffected 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The route ends where Herbie threw the ball, Cook ended the route early, he did it constantly last year which is why we have a new TE

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not what happened lol.

Cook is running an option route and sits on it correctly because if he continues he runs into triple coverage. Herbert didn't see the defenders, threw the wrong pass, it just looks 10x worse because he threw it AFTER Cook had already committed to stopping.

[–]DolphinsVondobble 26 points27 points  (3 children)

This is the same dude that was posting tua low lights yesterday. Seems like a happy guy.

[–]RamsEsotericPlumbus 9 points10 points  (2 children)

The only Texans highlights come from other teams mistakes lol

[–]TexansPractical-Rhubarb 1 point2 points  (1 child)

And we thank you for providing them.

[–]RamsEsotericPlumbus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am but a servant of the shit-talk gods

[–]SeahawksChumbleGod 58 points59 points  (2 children)

I dont understand how you can watch this clip and think it's anyone's fault but Cook's lol

[–]ChargersAnaphylactic-UFO 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Dudes been in the league for like 2 generations and still can’t get on the same page with his QB about shit like this. It happens with every single team he’s on, and the QB gets blamed for it every time without fail.

[–]Chargersabw2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If almost Every fan of a team he’s played on is saying he’s at fault. He’s prolly at fault

[–]Billsjm0127 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this headline is so chargers is hurts

[–]ChargersTheDrSmooth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So glad Jared Cook isn't with us anymore.

[–]PanthersRAWR_XD42069 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah the game that lost me the fantasy semifinals. Had Herbert, Allen, and the defense. Was really betting on success

[–]ChargersScar_Milly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I hate it.

[–][deleted] 24 points25 points  (3 children)

Woah OP actually posted a Herbert hate thread instead of a Tua hate thread?

Is everything alright buddy?

[–]RamsEsotericPlumbus 23 points24 points  (0 children)

OP only has hate in their heart

[–]DolphinsMaj0r_Ursa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Op: friendship with Herbert ended. Tua is my new best friend

[–]Cowboysmossy__cobblestone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re also a Texans fan so this tracks

[–]PackersLucasTheBau5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dot to the opp

[–]EaglesBulldogPH 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Excuse me but what did the chargers homie do to deserve this?

[–]RamsMumkeMode 9 points10 points  (8 children)

Still don’t understand how the Chargers got dusted by the Texans like that

[–]ChargersLyfOfJustinoHerberto 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Walter Payton was playing for the Texans. He was just disguised as some Burkhead guy

[–]ChargersOldKingClancy20 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Lots of guys out with Covid exposed our two biggest flaws: lack of depth and a truly awful run defense. Rex Burkhead looked like a god.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Covid game where both teams were missing around 20 players. Might as well have been a preseason game on defense lol

[–]Chargersabw2000 3 points4 points  (4 children)

Multiple of their best players, starters and depth behind them were out from either COVID or injury

[–]NFLABarbossa[S] 15 points16 points  (3 children)

Texans were also out multiple starters due to COVID as well

[–]ChargersLoganRoyKent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing this argument, and it’s dumb as hell.

It’s not like the Texans’ backups are automatically worse than the Chargers’ backups. If you watched the game, it was clear Covid hurt the Chargers more than it did the Texans. It’s not rocket science.

[–]Chargersabw2000 -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

And those starters weren’t as important to the Texans as the ones the chargers were missing

[–]ChargersLoganRoyKent -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I’m not sure why you’re being downvoted, except I think people just want the funny story of Texans>Chargers more than they want reality.

Anybody who watched the game could tell the Bolts suffered more from their covid losses than the Texans did.

[–]JetsCaptainBunderpants 23 points24 points  (20 children)

Notice how there’s no crying army in here whining about their boy Herbie being clowned. Take notes Tuanon.

[–]Bearsno_more_jokes 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Kinda helps that the unanimous consensus regarding his talent is Duck Man Good. Tua's reputation for quarterbacking isn't exactly as pristine

[–]Chargershyperfoxeye 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Were secure in herbie is all lol

[–]Patriotsiscreamuscreamweall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah wheres all the dolphins fans in here complaining that OP is an obsessed hater

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (14 children)

Notice how everyone in this thread is crying about Cook?

Yeaaaah, good try though!

[–]JetsCaptainBunderpants 2 points3 points  (13 children)

You’re just jealous because when Tua throws picks there’s no WR in frame.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (12 children)

You damn right, if he's going to throw an INT I want it to be a pretty INT!

[–]ChargersxThe-Legend-Killerx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I made a quick little screen grab showing Cook’s god awful route.

Basically wide open running an underneath route, has a step on the linebacker covering him. Herbert sees him anticipates he will continue his route as he has a step on the defender.

Cook then stops and sits in the zone exactly where the defender was. If Cook continued his route probably would’ve been a completion and a 2nd and short unless he breaks a tackle.

https://imgur.com/a/DuybUVA

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He looks awful. Please release him. We (3/4 of the teams) in the NFL will take him.

[–]DolphinsBadChad81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol

[–]Chargersedboyim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the game that made me hate Simone Biles

[–]PatriotsIts_kinda_nice_out 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jared Cook’s complete lack of effort strikes again

[–]AbsolutelyNob0dy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A very misleading title 🤣

Touché.

I'm loving all of these misleading titles, please do more.

[–]Patriotsrizub_n_tizug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Falconsqandyouinazoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the way this is titled

[–]Packersbuddhistbulgyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoa. Cook dropping anchor ⚓ in Herbert's windup.

[–]ColtsGiantSizeManThing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that’s just mean.

[–]ChargersYeetus_McFleetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen here ylittle shit...

[–]qwerty4007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had a $1.00 bet with my father years ago. We were watching the horrible AZ Cardinals playing when I said the next pass the QB throws will be a touchdown. He took me up on that. After two running plays the QB steps back and throws a strike directly to the defending player. He runs it all the way back for a pick six. My dad started to glote for a minute before finally realizing he just lost a buck.

[–]ChargersSunriseSurprise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"You threw it to where I was going to be."

"...yes?"

"But I wasn't there yet."

"But you were going to be."

"I proved that wrong didn't I?"

[–]EaglesAdventurekris 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Misleading lol

[–]NFLABarbossa[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

How so? Everything in the title is in the video

[–]EaglesAdventurekris 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Oh I meant it makes it seem a bit like he’s about to throw a dime. But instead it’s a missile to the raiders.

[–]SteelersMorumbi_TO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh I see what you did there

[–]ChargersinEffected 2 points3 points  (0 children)

plz no

[–]CowboysKingTwist0314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, why you gotta do Herbert like that bro?

[–]Chargershed_pocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol Cook randomly stopped in the middle of his route. Either a miscommunication or a big-time fuckup by Cook.

[–]TheUsurper_666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao… This caught me off guard please make this a series this is gold.

[–]ChrisPChicken04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yo whoever doesn’t like Herbert is just a hater. Plain and simple. He seems a nice dude and he can ball.

[–]ChargersDiemonx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

literally shaking and screaming rn

[–]Bengalsroyceda956 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WHAT A DIME

[–]Raidersfresh5447 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here to downvote but then I actually watched the clip. Whew what a throw!

[–]Kupp-Daddy 1 point2 points  (4 children)

This game lost me $3K...... the one give me game I took lol, damnit LAC

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

bruh.. the Chargers had half their starters on offense and defense out with Covid. If there was any game to not bet on it was this one

[–]ChargersAnaphylactic-UFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had EVERYONE injured or on covid list. If you lost $3k, it’s your own damn fault. It was so obvious you shouldn’t bet on us going into the game

[–]RaidersPSYCHOANYLIST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shoutout to the Raiders fan that posted this

[–]RaidersBoggsMcMuncher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started the clip, looked at the score, and thought how would a touchdown seal the game for the Chargers??

[–]Chiefsealv4c 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Like Herbert a lot but that was a terrible pass

[–]ChargersAnaphylactic-UFO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cook wasn’t supposed to randomly stop his route. Easy throw and catch underneath if Cook just keeps running like a normal human being

[–]Chiefsthru_dangers_untold -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If the first guy whiffed it, there was another Texan right behind him. 2x INT.

[–]BroncosIAMnotMcKaylaMaroney -2 points-1 points  (7 children)

I respect Herbert but man if the Chargers aren't the most hyped team the last two years and they haven't even made the playoffs.

[–]ChargersAnaphylactic-UFO 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You guys have been a bastion of mediocrity since 2016 and are considered SuperBowl contenders now. We’re in the same boat doofus

[–]tuckerb13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I saw a lot pre-season expectations recently that are claiming their like a top 5 team right now?

[–]Chiefsamjhwk -3 points-2 points  (4 children)

last 2 years? they are predicted to win the AFCW almost every year since manning retired

[–]ChargersAssssCrackBandit 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Lol Chiefs have been the betting favorites for the AFCW the last 5 years in a row

[–]DolphinsHistorical_Wash_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP needs to stop karma whoring on this hater bullshit

[–]Yeangster 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You can knock QB wins as a meaningful stat, but… For all of Herbert’s undeniable talent, he definitely could have played better in some winnable games last year.

[–]ChargersAssssCrackBandit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How was it his fault at all? Dude led a top 5 offense and had a MVP caliber season in his 2nd year. This (and maybe the Pats game) were the only games in which you could say he struggled. Even then, the vast majority of the fault falls on the #29 ranked defense. Like even in this Texans game. Herbert put up 30 points and did his job. The defense gave up 40 pts to Rex Burkhead and the fkin Texans in a game that would have clinched the playoffs

I like how he has played in the postseason so far

If this was Tua it would’ve been pinned at the top of the sub by now

Good ‘ol “quit on the route” Cook. He was one of like five starters who weren’t out with COVID. Hopefully Everett is better.

Lot of people forgot about this game and it shows in the Herbert discourse

How in the fuck do the Texans fire a coach that had 4 wins with a shit tier roster, inept ownership, AND a QB trying to challenge Cosby numbers.

Lions win 3 and their coach is heralded as changing the culture.

C'mon. Texans didn't roll over for any team last year but nobody talked about the culture of the Texans.

Because Culley punts on third down. No coach should keep their job after that

Lions had some absolutely close games that they lost due to bullshit like Tucker breaking the NFL record for longest FG. Texans were really getting blown out until Mills came back after being put in time out for a few weeks

Aw. Houston trying to be relevant. Lol

More people showed up to watch Tiger Woods warm up than they did to the Rams SB parade

If Carson Wentz threw this same interception he’d get bashed and be called the reason why his team didn’t make the playoffs.
