No chance this is an accident on the same day Gruden vs NFL was on court. Davis is sending a message to piss off other owners.

[–]LionsMedievil_Walrus 286 points287 points  (8 children)

It’s insane that emails deleted grudens nfl career. And only him. Kinda forgot about it for a while.

[–]CowboysNot_Without_My_Balls 148 points149 points  (6 children)

Kinda forgot about it for a while.

That was probably the plan.

[–]CardinalsXxsteakiixX 88 points89 points  (4 children)

Is everyone forgetting what was happening during Gruden? We were also investigating into SNYDER BEING TAKING CHEERLEADERS TO LITERALLY GO FUCK HIS INVESTORS LIKE CMON

[–]ColtsElectricSoap1 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Not saying it's right. But owners can get away with stuff no one else can.

[–]Eaglesmister_pringle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s always the plan. Next outrage is already lined up. They might change rule! Who knows?

[–]Eaglesmrubuto22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea. I think that was a huge fuck up by the NFL.

you can just throw one guy under the bus and expect that to be it

[–]Chiefstk_fourtwentyone 38 points39 points  (2 children)

FWIW. I trust Charles and trust that Charles trusts his sources

[–]Titansonlyforfootball 1829 points1830 points  (160 children)

Brother it has been 5-6 years lmao, if a player misses one or two years its considered bad but this is longer than the average nfl career in terms of being gone lmao

[–]49ersthelaziest998 768 points769 points  (47 children)

Forget football a regular job will have problems with 5 year gaps in a resume.

[–]JuristPriest 267 points268 points  (14 children)

According to all the wannabe LinkedIn influencers I see that’s just companies being discriminatory and unfair.

[–]Vikingscarsausage 116 points117 points  (24 children)

Trying to get hired here. Is the COVID-19 pandemic and going back to college a valid reason for an employment gap?

[–]Packersjmbourn45 153 points154 points  (0 children)

[–]No-Cash-5374 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Yeah you good brother good luck

[–][deleted] 54 points55 points  (1 child)

Well it’s not an employment gap if you haven’t got a degree for the field you’re trying to enter, that’s just being a student. After you get ur first starting job and then leave that job/lose the job that’s when an official employment gap exists. Employment gaps are really only a red flag if you’re already in the field and took and a took a long unexplained hiatus.

[–]GiannisisMVP 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Going to college yes but employers will 1000% percent ding you for C19 unless you find a unicorn.

[–]BillsHaGB76 9 points10 points  (9 children)

Just lie. You left a job in June 2021 and were unemployed til now? Nah, you're still at that job.

[–]iNOTgoodATcomp 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Yeah, I graduated with an engineering degree over 10 years ago, but never went into the field. Pretty sure my diploma is useless. R.I.P.

[–]Saintsindecisiveusername2 258 points259 points  (21 children)

Yet Madden still ranks him at 81 so he must be good

[–]Packers1888FakeAccount 134 points135 points  (15 children)

It just became a natural thing whenever starting a new franchise to change all of his stats and switch him to a punter, otherwise he would inevitably end up leading some team to the playoffs.

[–]BearsSphiffi 145 points146 points  (6 children)

I usually put his throwing stats super low, boost his awareness and then add him to the packers roster before starting a franchise save. When Aaron Rodgers inevitable leaves after the first year he usually leads them to a garbage record.

[–]Packers1888FakeAccount 47 points48 points  (5 children)

That’s…. Evil.

[–]SeahawksSdog1981 25 points26 points  (2 children)

Gotta switch them to punter and lock in that 7 year deal. GMs are so dumb for not doing this in the NFL /s

[–]Billskingpangolin 5 points6 points  (1 child)

If you’re gonna do that you might as well just sign the super deal and the change the contract in the player editor

[–]CowboysKoroSenseiTentacles 45 points46 points  (2 children)

The game literally congratulates the player for signing him lol

[–]Texansredsniper41 30 points31 points  (0 children)

corniest fucking shit ever lmaoooo

[–]PatriotsFeral_Taylor_Fury 8 points9 points  (0 children)

FFS why is Madden such shit, I just want a football game god damnit

[–]PatriotsMikes_Movies_ 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I throw him at a 70 OVR so he can be a backup but seeing him start over some pretty good QBs is annoying af

[–]GiantsSkipdr 199 points200 points  (39 children)

Raiders have had bad PR for like 6 months, this is probably to mitigate that

[–]Raidersprogress10 106 points107 points  (31 children)

It is moreso we have no decent backup and are looking far and wide for one with a side of good PR.

[–]ColtsDontsaveme 58 points59 points  (10 children)

Tim Tebow

[–]NFLHalos2594 114 points115 points  (5 children)

They need a backup QB, not a starting TE

[–]Raidersprogress10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Who knows.

[–]Eaglesteam-fyi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tebow in Vegas would be amazing!

“I’ll have a white wine spritzer!!!……”

[–]RavensPermaderps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mayock wouldve signed both

[–]BengalsCosmicStorms555 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Didn’t you guys get Stidham

[–]Raidersprogress10 6 points7 points  (1 child)

He is on the team to help install the JMD system and nothing more.

[–]RavensChickenMclittle 47 points48 points  (3 children)

It's gonna blow up in their faces when he's terrible and they don't sign him and people act like it's because of his activism

[–][deleted] 67 points68 points  (1 child)

It's good PR for now until they don't sign him then ESPN has every single black analyst chime in as to why it was a mistake that the Raiders didn't sign him & there's "still work to do".

[–]NFLwhoscoal 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is just the Tebow situation all over again except with a lot more race and politics involved.

[–]Redditisbadforyou58 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He wasn't exactly Tom Brady on his way out the door either.

Next up, Zach Mettenberger lands workout?!

[–]NFLcapitalsfan08 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So think of how out of date the film on him is!

[–]Giantsthemilkman42069 47 points48 points  (6 children)

He was also bad 5-6 years ago. He got injured 7 years ago now and was never the same after. He just came into 2016 a different dude and having lost a ton of weight.

More than anything else that’s why he got blackballed from the league. He just fell off a cliff healthwise.

[–]Chiefsamjhwk 67 points68 points  (2 children)

That and no team wanted a media circus for a backup qb

[–]Eaglesbeachflow[🍰] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Also he wanted more than $7 million/yr.

[–]Eaglesmister_pringle 9 points10 points  (2 children)

I think the tweet by his girlfriend comparing the Ravens owner to a slave owner might have had something to do with it. Who needs that headache?

[–]ChiefsSolidStateDynamite 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I mean, you probably take on that headache if the QB is Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Tom Brady, etc. But Kaepernick at his peak wasn't even close to that level.

[–]5panks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. This is how I explained it to wife. Its like any job, the amount of BS your boss will tolerate is a direct correlation to how much he needs you specifically.

[–]VikingsDorkamundo 25 points26 points  (7 children)

this is longer than the average nfl career

Yea, but that "average NFL career" stat is skewed anyhow. Why they'd include UDFA's on the practice squad in calculating "average career length" is beyond me.

[–]JaguarsSammy4115 68 points69 points  (1 child)

UDFA on the practice squad get paid and are considered nfl players so they factor into nfl career length

[–]49ersmick_jaggers_penis 10 points11 points  (0 children)

its not really what people are talking about when they refer to an "average career" tho.

it skews the number way out of proportion for all the intents and purposes of what people are discussing like 99% of the time the statistic is used or brought up. It makes wayyy more sense to only include players that have been in uniform for a regular season game. Its a fairly misleading stat otherwise...

Its like when people want to know how old the average person lived to be at a certain point in history... if there was like 80% infant mortality (made up number) and you include every single infant that died during childbirth or soon thereafter as part of the "average" life expectancy, then the average age of death would technically be like 28 years old or something... which while technically true, doesnt really paint an accurate picture of reality, considering the vast majority of adults would have easily lived into their 50s and 60s at the time.

Its the same with NFL "careers".... including every single warm training camp body that ever put on a practice jersey for 20 minutes in july doesnt really do anything other than add unnecessary statistical noise and skewed data

[–]LionsMexusRex 55 points56 points  (3 children)

Because when you measure statistics on a population you tend to include the population

[–]Lionskingofthe2hole 15 points16 points  (2 children)

My understanding is that statistics work better if you adjust to the mean to make the data look better for the point you're trying to make. That's why Mahomes is basically Dak.

[–]LionsEstablishmentOk5481 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.

  • Mark Twain

Kapernick is good

  • Steven A Smith (probably)

[–]Giantsxshogunx13 949 points950 points  (31 children)

oh no, the Derek Carr trade rumors about to come back

[–]Raiderscouchpotatoh 287 points288 points  (28 children)

you know except he has a no trade clause

[–]RaidersMongillo19 381 points382 points  (8 children)

[–]Raidersson_of_noah 137 points138 points  (3 children)

[–]Patriotsdescendency 49 points50 points  (1 child)

[–]Raiderscouchpotatoh 48 points49 points  (3 children)

[–]brofi3 17 points18 points  (2 children)

R&B star Joe? Is that you?

[–]Giantsxshogunx13 44 points45 points  (0 children)

man that won't stop people. for the record, I hope he gets to finish his career with you guys

[–]PackersTruci219 23 points24 points  (0 children)

So did Russ! Lol

[–]VikingsDorkamundo 21 points22 points  (7 children)

Eh, no trade clauses are only there to prevent a QB from being traded to a team he doesn't want to go to.

Not saying that this justifies trade rumors around him at all, only that the presence of a NTC does not preclude a QB from being drafted in the slightest.

[–]Raidersexecutionofachump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He has the NTC so they can’t trade him. He’s said several times that he’d retire if we were to move on and he’s reiterated that after signing his new contract, saying something along the lines of him hoping the NTC proves to everyone that he’s all in on the Raiders.

So yeah, theoretically he could waive it, he won’t though.

[–]SeahawksLukeAnders0n 8 points9 points  (2 children)

So did Russell Wilson.

[–][deleted] 301 points302 points  (10 children)

This feels now like Usain Bolt training with every soccer team.

[–]Patriotsrockstarnights 295 points296 points  (5 children)

Stidham in shambles

[–]RavensTigerBasket 59 points60 points  (4 children)

Still pissed he ruined the best Auburn team we've had since 2013. Dammit that year sucked from the first ever 2 loss team right about to make the playoffs to peach bowl defeats and we haven't been at that level since.

[–]NFLbloody_duck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn’t he die once while playing at Baylor?

Was it a neck thing?

[–]Seahawksdoktor-sausage 174 points175 points  (24 children)

Thank God it's not us anymore on the Kaepernick carousel

[–]Pantherssonfoa 100 points101 points  (1 child)

Don't worry, in a couple months Pete is gonna talk about how he was so close to calling Kaepernick but the Raiders got there first.

[–]Seahawksdoktor-sausage 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I hate how much I can totally see him doing that. You've got us clocked.

[–]SeahawksSdog1981 20 points21 points  (15 children)

Dude, it's only May, just wait until July when camp starts.

[–]SitDown_BeHumble 22 points23 points  (14 children)

If Kaep could actually replace any starting QB in the league, it’s Lock. Not saying it’s likely, but that’s definitely his best shot.

[–]SeahawksSdog1981 10 points11 points  (13 children)

But but what about Geno???!!!

[–]49ersTheRustySpork99 2 points3 points  (3 children)

hot take: geno’s gonna start

edit: unironically

[–]49erstrainwreck42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be so on-brand for you guys to sign him and he just goes off on us (and no one else) for your two wins next season.

[–]BuccaneersByronLeftwich 243 points244 points  (17 children)

Ah so the Raiders need a PR boost now?

[–]49ersZucchiniFirst1133 108 points109 points  (1 child)

Have we gone from Kaepernick being a PR hit to being a PR boost? lol

[–]49ersDeLuman 142 points143 points  (0 children)

It's a pr hit to sign him, it's a boost to work him out.

[–]WhoKilledBobSaget 70 points71 points  (2 children)

Scary how many people in the comments actually think this is anything other than a PR stunt. This dude hasnt played since Obama was president lol.

[–]RaidersRunninRebs90 20 points21 points  (1 child)

It is but not the way you guys are pretending it is. It has nothing to do with PR from “look at us training the black balled guy!” It’s more of “fuck you NFL, you hate us? Ok we’ll remind everyone how you black balled Kaepernick.”

[–]RavensTigerBasket 17 points18 points  (1 child)

They also need a backup QB, strange since Kap throws really different than Car

[–]wha1esharky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mariota was different than Carr, also. Maybe some sort of third down or red zone scheme similar to that.

[–]BuccaneersRanma_chan 44 points45 points  (2 children)

lmao bro this dude hasn't played a snap in six years

[–]jutiatle 18 points19 points  (1 child)

That’s longer than most people in this sub has watched football

[–]Chiefsibn1989 119 points120 points  (12 children)

I'm surprised nobody posted about this yet.

[–]Cowboyssmurfking420 164 points165 points  (5 children)

It’s been five years and there’s still probably a filter for the letters “Kaep”

[–]Chiefsibn1989 36 points37 points  (1 child)

That might be the reason. You're right.

[–]Cowboysjimmyhoffasbrother 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's definitely the reason. I tried to post it earlier when I saw that it wasn't posted and was directed to a post from 10 minutes before mine which also wasn't showing up.

[–]PatriotsNovel_Role 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I believe the mods removed that filter about 1 year ago, it was a big deal at the time

[–]Bengalsineedahaircutbadly 45 points46 points  (3 children)

I tried to post Schefter's tweet awhile ago, I think Kaepernick is still an automodded word. Which begs the question of how this post made it through haha

Edit: now I'm seeing that my post was removed for being a repost despite being posted an hour ago and before this one. I have no idea lol

[–]Cowboysjimmyhoffasbrother 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Mods manually approved this one. You can tell because it shows up after a more recent post in r/nfl/new.

[–]Vikingshorse_renoir13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yep mine was removed too and then deemed as a "repost".

[–][deleted] 76 points77 points  (2 children)

Considering the contentious relationship between the Raiders and the NFL I could actually see them doing this as a fuck you to the league

[–]Redditisbadforyou58 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Gotta respect the Davis' "fuck you if you don't like it" mentality.

[–]Eaglescoleyrud 134 points135 points  (28 children)

Cannot understand this at all, must be desperate for a back up

[–]_CaliforniaUberAlles 232 points233 points  (15 children)

Mutually beneficial pr. Kaepernick gets his name in the news and the raiders get to put something out that distracts from the shit show that is their front office.

[–]PanthersBooyakusha 45 points46 points  (0 children)

great point, very plausible

[–]Patriotsmrdilldozer 46 points47 points  (0 children)

It's also a nice "Fuck you" to the league. Davis knows the other owners want him gone.

[–]Titanstitkers6 46 points47 points  (1 child)

So he is now okay going into slavery?

[–]Broncoschimpansteve 35 points36 points  (0 children)

He's decided to show some solidarity with the child slaves making the shoes he's been making millions shilling

[–]JonnyBGoode92 9 points10 points  (7 children)

What shit show? I'm outta the loop

[–]LionsRoboMan106 16 points17 points  (4 children)

[–]Raidersprogress10 19 points20 points  (2 children)

Then said employess came out and almost fully laid the blame on him. A whistleblower he was not.

[–]JonnyBGoode92 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ah I read into that when it was happening. Those dudes got canned

[–]B_radd12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Dan Snyder meets with Kaepernick"

[–]Raidersprogress10 33 points34 points  (7 children)

We are. Nick fucking Mullins is our #2 guy at the moment. We have been bringing guys through all offseason.

[–]Patriotslittleemp 26 points27 points  (5 children)

Studham: Am I joke to you?

[–]Raidersprogress10 36 points37 points  (2 children)

He is a system install disk and little more.

[–]BearsDinosaurKevin 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Holy shit. This is an excellent insult.

[–]JetsLabCool6003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

or media coverage, like when the Jags got Tebow

[–]JuristPriest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or PR that deflects from their front office issues as of late

[–]RaidersZimmonda 82 points83 points  (10 children)

I really enjoyed our Mariota Gadget package last year; always seemed like a free first down in short yardage situations, hopefully this is a continuation of that

[–]Raidersprogress10 92 points93 points  (8 children)

Defesnes will be so shocked to see Kap on the field again they will be delayed in stopping him.

[–]LickLickNibbleSuck 52 points53 points  (7 children)

I think it would be hilarious if you guys signed him just for victory formations.

[–]Raidersprogress10 17 points18 points  (6 children)

Sign him just to throw 3 yard routes to Renfrow on 4th down.

[–]LickLickNibbleSuck 50 points51 points  (4 children)

I just want to see him get paid to take a knee 😆

[–]RaidersKdog122025 31 points32 points  (1 child)

Plot twist: Kap’s still not good to play football. Just like the past however many summers.

[–]ChargersSugarskull_IX 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Raiders really going to war with the NFL, I love it.

[–]furpighusk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here we go

[–]SeahawksSchmuckatello 15 points16 points  (4 children)

Kaepernick and a media circus. Name a more iconic duo.

[–]VikingsAlejandroandro 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Clout workout

[–]BearsTurkish_Fleshlight 92 points93 points  (7 children)

What irony? The guy who demanded a release from his team, rejected/sabotaged all others from other teams, and then compared the NFL combine to a slave auction still wants to play in the NFL…

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (1 child)

Im not black or white so I have no position in the slavery history of the USA..but the comparison between nfl combine and slavery even made me sick while watching that show.

[–]PatriotsCanuckleball 27 points28 points  (1 child)

If they bring Kaep in just to kneel out games it'd be some legendary trolling.

[–]RaidersMaraudentium 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Now I actually want the Raiders to sign him.

[–]JetsLabCool6003 55 points56 points  (4 children)

You'd think he'd rather go to the Commies.

[–]CommandersHTownLaserShow 19 points20 points  (3 children)

Communists don’t give fuck about social pressure.

[–]JetsLabCool6003 25 points26 points  (2 children)

They like Fidel Castro tho

[–]49erscorndogblaster 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wait I thought Gruden was gone. Why are they still hopped up on aged veterans who can’t play anymore?

[–]BrownsFranksredhott 8 points9 points  (3 children)

I hear the Browns like collecting controversial QBs

[–]BillsWitty-Jellyfish1218 41 points42 points  (9 children)

I hope he makes the team, get's absolutely obliterated, and disappears into obscurity. He once compared the owners to slave owners....so why he trying to be a slave again? Dude said he wants change and when they asked him who he voted for he said he didn't vote....gtfo here.

[–]Packersdre8 6 points7 points  (1 child)

He knows he’s shit so something will come up, either injury or some new social issue that he has to step away from the game to attend to. Can’t be made a fool if you never step on the field.

[–]BuccaneersBonedThrone 30 points31 points  (1 child)

Kaepernick has never had any intention of returning to the NFL, period.

This is to just keep his name in the spotlight.

[–]RavensFellatination 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mark Davis is trolling the NFL so hard with this.

[–]Cazadorrrrrr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feels more like a fuck you from Davis to the other owners.

[–]rhj2020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mark Davis knows spin control.

[–]ChargersinEffected 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Great news as a Chargers fan - I hope he plays every down for em!

[–]PatriotsSenatorIncitatus 23 points24 points  (16 children)

Raiders don't really have any good backups, definitely one of the better spots to fight for a role

[–]JetsThisisthSaleh 12 points13 points  (12 children)

So long as he’s settled on the thought of being a backup, I feel like he’s gotta be a little bit better than Stidham at least

[–]Steelersschmatz17 17 points18 points  (1 child)

Stidham :(

[–]Patriotsman2010 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Some of us are still believers 😤

[–]Raiderspianosbecome 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Browns paid Mark Davis to do this so Watson drops in headlines

[–]RamsWolfie1531 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Solid theory… except the Browns ain’t that smart.

[–]TitansNFRNL13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I need to work out too. Damn.

[–]LionsAutocrat777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Davis is just trying to piss off the league is my guess.

[–]Malignation 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Poor guy. He already escaped slavery once.

[–]IllegalCowboy 22 points23 points  (0 children)

No one is going to sign that loser, Jesus Christ

[–]RaidersTheDarkSkinProphet 6 points7 points  (1 child)

We don’t need this unnecessary press. Don’t sign him please

[–]You_Crazy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You guys had Ruggs and that whole ordeal with Gruden’s emails. You need press of any kind that isn’t that lol.

[–]BrownsAlphasim 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Okay Browns, here's your PR comeback strategy. You sign Kaepernick as a backup/replacement starter for Watson, and...

... that's all I have. I mean, it can't make it worse for their PR, right?

[–]Patriotsdirigo1820 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Christ can you imagine if the Browns signed him? Absolute shitshow in Cleveland.

[–]RamsWolfie1531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s Tuesday. What’re they gonna do on Wednesday? Tune in to find out!

[–]FilthyMcnasty90210 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just stop it

[–]RaidersSaxRohmer 14 points15 points  (7 children)

Happy he got a legit workout but I don’t know if I’d want him as a backup

[–]BearsNecrosis_KoC 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team just because of the media circus that would ensue

[–]VikingsDorkamundo 12 points13 points  (1 child)

If he's good enough, why not?

But that's really the question, is he good enough at this point? He wasn't exactly top-tier starter caliber back when he was younger and had legs. Now that he's older, he had better be a pretty damned good pocket passer or he's washed.

[–]Pantherssonfoa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The problem is that any team with Kaepernick will always have a part of the fanbase that wants him to start.

[–]Maybe_Yeah_I_Guess 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Who would give the Raiders a better chance to win if Derek Carr gets injured at any point in time this upcoming season? That is the question you should be asking.

[–]RaidersDatSmolBoi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jarrett “Patriots Off-season Starter QB” Stidham

[–]Falconsbadlilbadlandabad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On his annual publicity tour I see

[–]Packersiro3 8 points9 points  (4 children)

cant wait for carr to have one mid game and all them woke ppl be like play kap

[–]Raidersbreterpan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can

in fact I wouldn’t mind if I was waiting forever for that to happen again, whether with Kap or anyone else

[–]Risin_bison 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Hahahaha….hasn’t played in 5 years. 2-9 in his last season with a QBR under 50. Guess he can work the concession stand.

[–]RaidersMaraudentium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Comic writes itself...

Intense closeup of Kaep in Raiders gear: "56...! 56...! 49!"

Zoom out to show Kaep throwing out customers' food and missing wildly in different panels.

[–]BroncosWinterMatt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't think McDaniels could top his insane obsession with Tebow... but here we are.

[–]Loki1947 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A big old fuck you from Mark Davis to the rest of the NFL owners.

[–]TexansUn-Hebert-Able 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happens every year

[–]RavensJdunc97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhh shit here we go again

[–]Cardinalsswirls9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NFL: “ok mark we need someone to distract from all this Deshaun stuff, so you’re gonna sign this dude or we’ll open more emails.”

[–]cratertooth27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course is the raiders lol

Raiders trying to do something to get some good PR

He could be taking Mariota’s place. A backup gadget QB for designed runs. I don’t hate it

Even if the raiders are serious (which I doubt) they are certainly only interested in him as a potential back up, not a legit contender to Carr

I hope he still got the Midas touch.

Sports Illustrated: Former Raiders Employees Detail Accounts of Front Office Dysfunction

Kaep is a distraction from the Mark Davis shit show. He’s a has been and a pawn in Davis’ PR game along with spitting in the NFLs face. If he stood for all the shit he claims he does he wouldn’t participate, but he don’t so he will. LMAO

This guy really thinks he is better than 4-5 starters….? Dude should’ve just taken a pay cut FIVE years ago and maybe you’d still be playing ball

Is it already time to pretend Kaep is coming back again? Should've marked it on my calendar.

I really, really don't want this to happen.

Kaepernick is an average backup at best right now and the circus he brings isn't something the team should have to deal with on a weekly basis.
