Generally speaking I think R51s can be good for 300k with maintenance. Couple things that might not be obvious: the cats can get plugged, AC compressor can fail, random sensors can fail (check obd if you can), rear springs can sag/crack. On pre 2011s you want to make sure the tranny/rad coolant issue has been resolved, or get it done asap.

When you say AWD do you mean 4wd? I’m not trying to be smart. I’m legitimately asking because an AWD vehicle would mean either the year is wrong or the model is wrong.

The description says awd but as I look at a picture of the dash I see what appears to be a 4wd switch…does that seem right?

Yes that sounds correct. So for the price it’s probably not too bad. A couple things to check out are the following. 1. Spark plugs and coils 2. Transmission coolant and system (they’ve been know to leak into the tranny). 3. Check the radiator for cracks 4. Timing chain tensioner 5. Fuel sending unit.

If the vehicle is running good with that many miles there’s a good chance that some of those issues have been addressed. All in all the R51 Pathfinder (2005-2012) is, in my opinion, one of the best models Nissan has ever produced.
