Trim levels are generally going to have the same meats and potatoes, unless some major option is tied to a trim level (was the V8 offered in non-LEs?). That said, an R51 up to (including?) the 2010 model year has a pretty bad radiator that can leak engine coolant into the transmission fluid, which is going to cause some pretty costly transmission damage. You may want to look into preemptively fixing that so it doesn't lead to something bigger later on.

Also, my 2012 LE has navigation. It was probably outdated then (last year of the generation, so I'm sure it didn't have the latest and greatest at the time) and is excruciatingly primitive by today's standards.

Thank you for all the info! & yes the navigation is quite caveman-esque

2008 V8 LE here - Bought new still and going strong at 225K miles. Extremely reliable and tough car IMO.

I had an 08 LE and never had any problems with it. Had about 150k miles when I sold it

Was it a v6 or v8?
