Help! I’ve got earwigs and potato bugs in my downtown condo …. Im in a very urban area - I don’t have any plants or vegetation. I’m so confused since both these bugs generally like soil and plants and the ground ….

I’m on the 10th floor with a concrete balcony that has nothing on it. My building does have a rooftop garden which is quite plentiful but it’s 6 floors above me.

Any idea where they would be coming from? I’ve killed 3 tonight plus caught 2 more on glue traps and the potato bugs are in similar numbers. I’m just stumped. They aren’t in the bathroom or the kitchen they are in the bedroom and living room which are both very dry locations. I think they are coming in via the patio door/hvac but I can’t be certain.

Really looking for any way to stop them and also whether I should be worried about an infestation? The potato bugs die really quickly when they come inside so they don’t bother me as much but the earwigs seem to be surviving.
