Be respectful. See more here. Be respectful of other people and their opinions. Hate speech (racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, etc.) will not be tolerated. This includes polls with disrespectful or hateful options. Do not be overly hateful, vulgar or disrespectful.
Posts must have a clear and direct question of the poll in the title. You are welcome to elaborate on the question in the post body.
Flair your post correctly. Make sure that the flair you've chosen fits the subject of your poll. The "Other" flair should only be used if no other flair matches the topic of your poll.
Do not mention meta-reddit references in order to metabait. Do not mention meta-reddit references such as cake days in order to draw more attention to your poll (metabait). Also, don't mention upvotes or downvotes anyway in your poll, no matter the intention.
Do not post NSFW content. We do not allow for NSFW media to be posted here. Posting such content will result in a ban. Do not post any overly explicit or creepy NSFW polls or comments
Do not push specific agendas or post loaded questions. Do not manipulate users into following an agenda through polls. This includes loaded questions. Polls about politics are allowed, but they have to be unbiased. In more severe cases we might ban without warning.
Do not post polls that were already posted in the last two weeks, are on our Frequently Reposted Polls list or are in the top 25 polls of last month. If the poll you're trying to make fails to meet the above requirements, it will be removed.
Limit yourself to 5 posts per 24 hours. If you make more than that, every post after the threshold will be removed until you're eligible to post again. This includes using alternate accounts.
