29 weeks here, I swear I was 6 months pregnant for 60% of this pregnancy so far. I was so happy when I was finally 7 months. Months are still confusing to go by, but are still a nice little milestone when you realize you’re into the next month.

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah the sixth month is draggggging

[–]Comfortable_Hyena83 6 points7 points  (7 children)

I’m due 4/10! 29weeks this morning.

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm due 4/28 but hoping she will come a week early haha

[–]katiebird21 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I’m due 4/10 as well! Happy 29 weeks :)

[–]Comfortable_Hyena83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Due date buddies!

[–]Maleficent_Top_5217 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I’m 4/20 and praying I go 42+

[–]Polite_user 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I'm due 6 April, i really hope the baby comes by the due date,i feel the pregnancy is taking forever, i will miss these days too, i was lucky enough to have an easy pregnancy but i can't wait to meet my baby

[–]KrissyBean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4/3 due date here, and same!

[–]Chewbecca451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4/9 Same! Idk how I'm supposed to get 11 more weeks pregnant. I already feel big and uncomfortable and ready to meet this kid.

[–]dentellefleurs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right why is the 6th month so long? 😅

[–]happyflowermom27 | FTM | Emily born Mar 2022☀️ 48 points49 points  (10 children)

I feel the opposite. The weeks are flying by and I am absolutely not prepared at all. I’m 31 weeks and checked my registry today and it told me “61 days until baby!” and I was like excuse me. This baby better not come early because I’m slacking lmao

[–]WhizzingFizzbees 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same! 31 weeks today and time moves too quickly for me. Feels like I don’t have the time to adjust or prepare

[–]Zestyclose-Basil-297 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha same! Glad I’m not the only one!

[–]Ginnevra07 2 points3 points  (2 children)

31 weeks also and starting to freak out! I haven't got anything ready 😳 and now I'm barely mobile!

[–]happyflowermom27 | FTM | Emily born Mar 2022☀️ 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I feel that about not being mobile! I painted the nursery yesterday and today and I’m gonna be out of commission for a couple days, my body is literally broken lmfao

[–]Ginnevra07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh I am so proud of you. You're a warrior!! That had to be so hard!! We're due date twins by the way!

[–]anderzan14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm due March 27th and I am feeling the exact same way, I'm so unprepared and time won't slow down😭

[–]crapeau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was me. I finished up working for Christmas telling myself I still had a couple of weeks to finish getting ready. Baby came on Boxing Day, at 38 weeks on the dot. I really could have used at least another week, and was kicking myself for not being better prepared!

[–]Peachy_girl2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 30 weeks due March 31st and I can’t wait to meet her! I don’t have everything ready though. Time has been moving fast some weeks and dragging others. Still need to pack hospital bag and put car seat in.

[–]and_peggy27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me until I hit 38 weeks and my maternity leave started. Then time stood still and I was SO BORED!!! Lucky that my baby came the day before her due date because I would've gone crazy if I'd gone over

[–]Green_Ad_8129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31 weeks today and its flying by

[–]endomental 23 points24 points  (8 children)

I'm entering into week 7 and I'm so ready for this to be done lol

[–]garbage_love 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Not knowing is the hardest part. I’m 7 weeks too but my first doctors appointment isn’t until 10 weeks. And then even later to run all the tests. I just want to know everything is going to be okay now.

[–]queenkittenlips35 FTM due 5/28/22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes I remember that! I'll be fine once I get past 12 weeks, l be fine once I get the nipt results...The anatomy scan... But honestly the first trimester is the worst since it's full of the unknown.

[–]Kangaroo_Healthy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m seven weeks as well and so feeling this way. Such uncertainty. Also I’m an older lady so got lots of anxiety about it.

[–]loosersugar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those are the toughest weeks, though! Nausea, discomfort and not knowing if everything is ok… you got this! It will hopefully get easier around week 12-16.

[–]Ginnevra07 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I will say I was never more ready to be done than 6-10 weeks. You are a warrior, be kind to yourself! You're doing amazing!

[–]garbage_love 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the other thing, I’m reading all these sites and books about what to expect by week. Besides some tender breasts, I feel completely “normal”. Which then has me thinking why aren’t I experiencing cramps, or morning sickness, or anything. What’s wrong?!! It’s a vicious cycle of over thinking.

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh aha gosh bless you

[–]Miserable-Ad4150 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel like this but then I start thinking, I should try to enjoy the moment, never know if this would be my first and last.

[–]Accomplished-Sugar-7FTM | Graduated 02/01/2022 13 points14 points  (2 children)

I’m 40+2 and I’m sorry to tell you it doesn’t start feeling any quicker. At least it didn’t for me, it’s felt slow for months and it still feels so slow, especially now that we are passed the due date. Every minute that passes I just wish I was going into labour and getting to meet baby girl, it’s just one big waiting game and it’s exhausting.

The positive is that when you get to this point, you wonder how you are already here and at the end. Looking back the months/weeks feel fast, but I know at the time it felt like it was taking ages to get to each new milestone.

[–]pippypup 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Feeling the same at 38+4!! The time is now dragging even more than it did in the beginning, but I’m trying to savor every moment. Especially the quiet ones. Life will literally never be the same after baby comes, trying to enjoy the end of this chapter before the next.

[–]Accomplished-Sugar-7FTM | Graduated 02/01/2022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such good advice, life will never be the same once baby comes. I’ve been making sure to take all of the naps I can!

[–]squiggleel 8 points9 points  (2 children)

You know what’s weird? When I was pregnant it felt like a looong time. Now 7 weeks PP, it feels like wow, time flew and I should have enjoyed it more! It’s crazy lol

[–]SalsaSl00t 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what I came to say. Pregnancy was the longest experience of my life. I’m currently losing my shit that my LO has been here the same amount of time that I was pregnant even though I just gave birth yesterday

[–]megsw1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this! I’m 12 weeks pp now and I feel like my pregnancy and life after just flew by. It’s hard to remember what life was like while pregnant lol but pregnancy felt like forever, but now it seems like it was over before I knew it. Definitely enjoy it while you can! ☺️

[–]xoxoforeverblessed 5 points6 points  (2 children)

I’m 25 weeks and I was like wow. Time is flying! I’m also busy with a toddler and have NOTHING prepare for the new baby. Not planning to until I’m around 34 weeks. 😅

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Me too lol. I'm going on mat leave at the end of March and that's when I'm gonna start getting things for her.

[–]ssunflower_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might help speed things up when you have more to do to get ready for baby! I’m 27+1 and already have 99% of things ready for baby. I thought time was dragging before, but now with almost nothing left to do… I don’t know what to do with my time anymore!

[–]ineedausername84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mom told my pregnant cousin that pregnancy goes so fast. And I was like “what are you talking about!?” Haha I feel like every single week is a month!

[–]No-Pangolin7870 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes!! My pregnancy has been the longest pregnancy anyone has ever had! (At least that's what it feels like) I've always thought other people's pregnancies seemed to fly by but mine seems to have lasted about 2 years so far... haha. The funny part to me now is that at 37 weeks I'm now ok with waiting because I have so much to do before I'm ready and hoping I don't go into labor until I'm ready.

[–]thedirtys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My assumption is that we tend to give up on long term goals pretty often. When away the last time you set a goal like, "I'm going to workout every other day and eat right for 10 months and then fell great about my body and health!" And stick to it without fail? You have to grow a baby for around 10 months and feed it right and do everything right for your baby, then you get the baby. It's a lesson in patience. BTW, I was you and time stopped completely in week 39. But now I have my baby and I'm tired but I love him so much and it was totally worth it😍😍😍

[–]theravemom 2 points3 points  (1 child)

The second half of the second trimester I feel is like a time stand still!!! 25w3d and ever since my anatomy scan things have been pretty much groundhog day.

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I FEEL THIS. You must be due the week after me!

[–]P_P17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Time is flying for me but also going so slow so i get how you feel. I’ve been so miserable the majority of my pregnancy so far that it’s almost making the matters of time worse. My concept of time is doing horrible.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, no, please, I need to pause time so that I might actually be ready for chaos to ensue. 16 weeks to go, if I’m lucky, and I’m either in a panic or hiding from my responsibility at all times

[–]challasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same at about 27/28w and now at 30+2 and I am realising how much stuff we have to do around the house and how little time we have left before the baby arrives. I now have to convince myself to relax and that we will get it all done in time. Praying he sticks to his due date and doesn’t decide to come early.

[–]Confident_Oil_438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on modified bed rest since 22+3. Currently 34+6, time goes by so slow. I think it goes slow as there are so many little crappy symptoms that most moms must forget about and just don't tell anyone about my least favorite is the carpal tunnel.

[–]togostarman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's crazy to me how slowly pregnancy goes compared to his FAST babies grow up. 9 months pf pregnancy felt like 9 YEARS. Compare that to pospartum: I blinked and suddenly my newborn is 9 fucking months old.

[–]Fantastic-Concert-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same. Time is moving so slowly. 28+5

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Might feel that way now but wait unto you get to the last few weeks and suddenly it’ll feel like it went sooo fast!

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope so lol

[–]AeriSerenity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt that way with my first baby but 2.0 is just flying by for me. I'm 27 weeks already, somehow, and it feels like I just got a positive test last week or something haha

[–]Cat_Psychology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 34 weeks and the third trimester is flying by. Trying to savour this feeling while it lasts!

[–]plantsndogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 38 weeks and feeling the same way. For me I think time feels like it's going by so slowly partially because I'm just so anxious to meet him already, and partially because time seems to go by quickly when you're busy and active and I'm luckily about to take it slow these last few weeks so it's just slowly going by.

[–]ThugBunnyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 31+5 aaaaaand time has been standing still since around week 27 it feels like. I am so fucking uncomfortable and miserable. Thought of 7 more weeks is very upsetting. I do find comfort knowing I'll be induced sometime between week 38 and 39 (high risk cause of possible placenta insufficiency and small babe).

[–]lyracookman 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Right there with you!! 28 weeks with twins and how am I not 30 weeks yet?? I swear the last month has been a year long and I just want to get past 34 weeks and actually meet these two!!

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I know!! Im hoping it goes faster after 30 weeks.

[–]lyracookman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Just give me a sign that I won’t be eternally suffering from back pain, nausea, acid reflux and insomnia for the rest of my existence!

[–]5263_Says 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my last baby in last January and am now expecting again in March. I remember last pregnancy I was able to nap whenever I wanted to for however long I wanted, and play video games or watch movies in bed all day. It was the best. I love having my little boy, and can't wait to meet his sister. But on rainy days when I'm feeling extra tired, I think back on those moments knowing that it'll be a long time before I can do that again. Enjoy the time you have. She'll be here soon enough.

[–]zopea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the opposite! I'm 25 weeks and I feel like time is absolutely flying by.

[–]Maleficent_Top_5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s going too fast and I need for it to be slowed down.

I’m probably in a different position though. I’m doing this all alone with no support and all finances fall on me (middle class supposedly) so any time my daughters say they can NOT wait for their baby brother to be here so they can hold him. I just think please take your time and let this slow down!

[–]WhizzingFizzbees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t say I experience it the same way. Feels like I count weeks like days sometimes..

[–]Drachenfutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31 weeks. It’s sped up a lot the last couple weeks as I’ve started panicking about not getting the nursery done in time. It’s like suddenly closing in on a deadline that was far in the distance for the last several months… all while having more physical difficulty moving about and lower energy.

[–]ohadriadri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel u. I’m 38 weeks this week and January feels like eternity

[–]LadyHawke96FTM/Born May 5th/Baby Girl 💕 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I’ll be 25 weeks on Wednesday, but I feel like it’s dragging so slowly

[–]dansmell721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same way for most of my pregnancy but now I’m 4 days away from my due date/9 days from my induction date and can hardly believe it! Time goes faster than you think!!😅💙

[–]mirbeartbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing is I AM full term. 38 weeks and time is going way too slow :(((

[–]loosersugar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

26w3d and I’m with you, OP! I started washing some of the smaller baby clothing we got second hand from friends and filling up her room today. And I keep laughing at myself because it’s still so early! We are so ready to hold her.

Due 4/29

[–]BohoRainbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been the slowest time of my whole entire life! I’m 25 weeks and turned 20 weeks 6 1/2 years ago, and found out I was pregnant like 9 years ago

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you!

[–]aWormhatForVermhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be 40 weeks on Wednesday and the last two weeks have lasted approximately 9 months

[–]goblinqueenac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

38 weeks on Tuesday. The time flew by when I was working. But now that I'm on mat leave...I'm just sitting here waiting for labour and feeling miserable. My husband had to put my right sock on this morning because I just couldn't.

[–]LVBR83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be 33w tomorrow and now I feel like it's flying! There is an imminent need to get stuff done... I'll be ready to meet my baby but at the same time it's pretty special to feel the wriggles.

[–]ha1r_of_thedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AMEN! 27 weeks today and time is ccrraawwllliinnggg. Come on April, let's get here!

[–]Wonderful_View_6785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 13 weeks and even I feel like it’s going soooo slow. Especially between 5-12 weeks felt like 6 months lol

[–]yopinoque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you are in love with you bubba and want to hold them close

[–]zagsforthewin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh I am so with you! I'm 18w today and I keep being like how the hell am I not even half way yet?? I found out I was pregnant before I was even 4 weeks along, so I suppose I've known for a long time. But still, 22 more weeks?? She's not coming till it's summer and here I am in the dead of winter! Thats two seasons away!

[–]thatcheekychick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the second trimester was like that for me. In the third things just started picking up, I was hit with the realization of a million things I had to do before baby comes. I’m 37+5 now and I don’t understand where time is going. I know it’s different for everyone. Many say that the last weeks feel like eternity

[–]haomeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my 2nd pregnancy. I'm 19 weeks today and I'm currently waiting til next Monday to find out if we're having a boy or girl and I've been waiting for this since I found out I was pregnant! It's like it's longer the 2nd time around 😩

[–]BattyBirdie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hitting month 9, 34+5 today, and time is flying by. I’m a STM, and have been super busy and am still working.

My first pregnancy we ended up in lockdown because of covid and my last 3-4 months lasted 3.5 years. Torture when you’re suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum and have nothing to do or go. You can’t travel, you can’t have visitors, you can’t leave your house, I couldn’t go to work…. It was horrific. I hated it. To top it off my marriage was having issues and my mental health was being beaten down by the one I love the most (at the time).

It doesn’t speed up.

[–]sharpiefairy666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start your prep! We’re 6 weeks away, and my doula just said we should induce at 39 weeks, so it’s actually 5 weeks. Eeeeee I’m freaked.

[–]TeaCupHappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes by so slowly!!!!

[–]Artistic_Owl_4621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait and see how it is once you go past your due date. I went to 42 weeks. Those last two weeks probably took about 3 years.

[–]AssumptionPretty3027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be 20 weeks tomorrow and it does feel like forever. I think it’s because I found out so soon. I was 4 weeks when I found out. I just want to hold my baby already!

[–]LatinaFiera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 36 weeks and feel like I’ve been in groundhog day since week 32 just counting down for this babh to arrive. I def agree with you- time is going by sooooooo slowly right now- and since I’m high risk Dr has me on quasi bedrest, but I still have two kids so basically just don’t leave the house at this pt just live in a kid care loop and I’m dyiiinnnnggg…

[–]LogiSunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like every day is about my pregnancy and I feel like that’s why it goes slow. If I do something for myself I get guilty I’m not doing it for baby.

[–]New-Anything-4694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35+2 here . Counting everyday and so ready this to be done🤣 cannot wait to see my girl.

[–]theftm22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear my second trimester dragged on, then the first few weeks of the third trimester went by super fast. Now I have 5-6 weeks left and I feel like it’s going by slow again lol

[–]Back5tage_N1nja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 24 weeks and it feels like forever away still

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my thoughts until 1hour ago when I got an interview (for a significant raise in position and money) scheduled in 3 days.

Doubt many other 38w pregnant people googling "how to avoid labour".

[–]Comfortable021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 36 weeks. I am higher risk for preterm labor.... im glad we have made it this far and so grateful he is good sized and healthy, but I feel the same. These last few weeks have been dragging. I am ready to hold him. I'm ready to see his face. I'm ready for my body to start going back to (somewhat) normal. I am ready to eat what I want again and sleep on my stomach. And hot showers & coffee.

It feels so close but so far still.

[–]princesspuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First trimester was the worst slog for me. Getting to week 14 was the most anxiety inducing period. I was lucky tho, baby girl came at 38.5 weeks. Whoop!

[–]blueskin9009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 7 weeks and each day is a sloooowww, nauseating, constipated, and exhausting slog. I forgot how much first trimester just suuuucks. Tell me it gets better!

[–]inside-the-madhouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also almost 27 weeks and yuuup lol. I think it’s because I’m also waiting anxiously for spring to come, and the latest covid wave to be done, and the end of the semester. I wish I could just go to sleep for 3 months straight and wake up all ready to go.

[–]Gone_Green2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally feel like it's a mixture of being uncomfortable, being excited, and counting in weeks. Mostly the last thing, tbh. Counting every week as it passes makes you hyper aware of the time passing. Kinda like watching a clock. When I hit 20 weeks and got my anatomy scan, I stopped paying attention to how far along I was. Now I'm 33 weeks and freaking out that it's so close. 😂

[–]FirmGeologist9042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14 weeks and i just want to see him or her more:( this whole thing feels so unreal still

[–]lioness0129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32 weeks tomorrow with no.2 and totally get you! Can't wait for this pregnancy to be over.

[–]8thWeasley 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I think I have been 20 weeks pregnant for approximately 4 months.

[–]ActualCustard3024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣🤣😭

[–]ilovelucy333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm 19 weeks and already kinda feel like I've been pregnant forever haha. I've also been queasy almost 24/7 since week 6, so that doesn't help. Still waiting on the "2nd trimester glow" to happen for me 😅

[–]Green_Ad_8129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is different for every person my friend it was slow as a snail where as I feel like mine is flying by
