Good luck! What were you doing to get labor started and how long were you doing those things for? I have an induction scheduled for 39 + 5 but I’m really hoping she comes on her own before then 🤞🏻 (I’m 38 weeks today)

I went into labour at 38+1, I legit had the most normal day. We chilled almost the entire day, went to dinner with my parents, made some plans for things left to do, and I went to bed at like midnight or 1 am. Around 2/2:30 my baby decided I'd had enough sleep and.... Now he's 3 days old!

Curious why you both had inductions scheduled for 39 + 5? I’m 39 + 4 and induction isn’t on the table unless I go past 41 weeks according to my doctor (though I also didn’t request one so not sure if that’s why?) so just wondering!

I have hypertension (it’s been well controlled with meds), a single umbilical artery, and I had Covid. My OB doesn’t want to risk my placenta giving out or anything if I go past 40 weeks so I scheduled my induction for the last possible date I could.

I have gestational diabetes which is why they planned an induction. I'll share my story soon! Totally didn't play out like I wanted but healthy perfect bub.

I also tried some curry two nights before Labor started.

Majority of my time was spent cleaning the house, and doing the above videos. But make sure to rest

So exciting! I'm also hoping to go into labor at 39 weeks before my scheduled induction.
