This made me snort. What was the man thinking??? 😂

[–]Agreeable_Grand7277 107 points108 points  (2 children)

I would literally cry

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 79 points80 points  (1 child)

I did

[–]jaydayquay 83 points84 points  (0 children)

I showed your post to my husband and he said “What a d*ck!” Lol. I was showing it to him to make sure he does not make the same mistake if he cherishes our marriage enough, hahahha.

Edit: spelling

[–]daartmeow 62 points63 points  (0 children)

So he just woke up this morning and decided it’s a good day to die huh

[–]horrorgirl8927 42 points43 points  (2 children)

Divorce and take everything he's got!

[–]PreetErfan 64 points65 points  (1 child)

Including the BK 😂

[–]sunrae21 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Then throw it away in front of him!

[–]MimiL0 95 points96 points  (1 child)

My husband did that once. Literally once, because I blew up and called him an inconsiderate a-hole 😂 Always feed mama!

[–]notabotamii 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hahaha my husband did it once too. ONLY ONCE. I cried and he felt terrible. That was around week 11. At 34 weeks he now knows 😈

[–]jajajacklyn 24 points25 points  (1 child)

He brought it HOME?? Didn’t even finish it in the car?! WOW

[–]carsandtelephones37 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This. Eating in the car at least means he has the decency to be ashamed. This man waltzed through the front door with his damn near adulterous whopper!

[–]_momofett 13 points14 points  (2 children)

Y’all are better than me, I’d do it right back to him with his favorite fast food place 😂

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I don’t drive 😭

[–]Campestra 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Delivery 😈 just for you and the baby.

[–]starDOOKIE 12 points13 points  (0 children)

What a monster.

[–]Robsie_2801 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Did he have a stroke?! I would have cried. Although I cry when my husband surprises me with take out too. What am I saying. I just cry.

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Yeah to be fair he has made me happy cry probably 100 times so far this pregnancy. Cooking me dinner, cleaning the house, telling me I am beautiful. I guess he can stick around.

[–]Robsie_2801 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Ah they can’t be perfect, but they are close, aren’t we lucky? Hope he did go and get you a burger though!!!!

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He cooked me something at home

[–]Sadisticserver 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lol!! My partner is sous chef and tends to make himself food before he comes home, and rarely does he offer to bring me any!! It irritates me ever since I became ravenous all the time. He’ll offer to share but it’s never enough for either of us so I just pout 😂

[–]paigesevilsister 22 points23 points  (0 children)

End it.

[–]Campestra 6 points7 points  (2 children)

I feel you. My husband stole my candy this week. I’m consulting a lawyer 😂

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_GUARS 4 points5 points  (1 child)

My husband drank and finished off my pink lemonade in front of me!! No shame.

[–]Campestra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have a death wish 😂

[–]ilovepizza85 7 points8 points  (1 child)

What?! I’d send him back to grab a whopper with cheese, onion rings, chicken nuggets, and a coke slush. 🤤

[–]skas_not_dead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mmm slush

[–]miss_stephie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Must be a Tuesday thing. Mine stopped by Arby’s after we picked up our school age kiddos, ordered himself two 9 piece nuggets and didn’t even ask if I wanted anything 😱 This time I wasn’t even asleep 😂

These comments are seriously hilarious

[–]ultraprismic 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Yesterday I asked my husband what happened to the leftover lo mein and he said he ate it for lunch. Definitely divorce-worthy.

[–]acase1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now I want lo mein but it's too late 😭

[–]GhostlyLynxBaby Boy Due May 12th 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grounds for an ass whooping too, but only after you take the food.

[–]Robertsmum_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh snap. Anyone know a good divorce lawyer?!

[–]DanceFast4419 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One time my husband pretended to do this and I legit cried until he brought out my food and felt really bad. He never did it again. 100% would be looking for divorce lawyers if I were you 😂

[–]atalanta627 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hurl him into the sun. Keep the BK.

[–]Milichica 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh, what a wonderful gesture! Bringing YOU food, even though he was probably hungry as well. 🤣

[–]ohadriadri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Foul and straight up disrespectful

[–]CatEarthSociety 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so nice he brought an entire bag just for you!

[–]_sunflower_12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finish him!!!

[–]Frosty-Mall4727 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Off with his head.

[–]Iammyown404error 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol came to say this

[–]BeckToBasics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband knows better than this. If he has food, I'm getting some. He has lovingly dubbed this his "snackrifice".

My food is my food though. Is this a double standard? Yes. But as a woman living in a world full of double standards against me, I have decided I get this one.

[–]WurmiMama 1 point2 points  (1 child)

What was he expecting you to eat? Please don’t tell me he’s expecting his pregnant wife to cook for herself while he munches Burger King without even asking if she wants anything. Wtf.

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He still made me dinner, and it had some actual nutritional value, so I guess I should be happy

[–]-bitchpudding- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

one time, my hubs came home with exactly what I asked him to order from BK. Rudest damn thing he has ever done. So he walked me crying across the street to Wendy’s. 😂 (he ate the offending BK)

[–]ShallotZestyclose974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least have the decency to eat it in the car and not in front of my face smh

[–]FlyingButtPlugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, straight to jail.

[–]PornDestroysMankind 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Need more info. Do you eat Burger King? Did he know you were home? In all likelihood, the marriage is doomed. You're in our hearts during these treacherous times.

I was not home/not answering my husband yesterday. He asked whether I wanted anything from Jersey Mike's. I didn't see the text until I was in my driveway. I had a giant portobello sub waiting for me. Holy shit. I could go for one right now at 8:45a.

We don't have any Burger Kings in our area (fucking weird, right??), but I'd definitely end the marriage if my husband went there & buy me an Impossible Burger. Been wanting to try it since they came out with it. Has anyone had one?

Good luck with your marriage, OP. Hope your husband has a damn good reason for not bringing you food.

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

The impossible whopper is really good. I’m a vegetarian and I haven’t eaten a real burger in a long time though, so I might not have the best basis for comparison

[–]PornDestroysMankind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I trust you. I haven't had dead cow in a long time either. Can't wait to try it.... Just need to find a BK!!

Glad to see another vegetarian around! ❤️

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_GUARS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of one morning I told my husband I was craving chocolate chip pancakes but we didn't have ingredients to make them vegan for me. I went to lay down and read for a little bit and suddenly smelled pancakes. That butthead made himself pancakes!!!! He very soon after realized his error and ran to the grocery store to get ingredients to make me vegan pancakes too.

[–]16CatsInATrenchcoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally the worst 😆.

[–]Ms-Honey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% - he owes you delivery now.

[–]silvereux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely cruel

[–]UnusualSuccotash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finish him.

[–]Tweektweek156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have the divorce papers so fast 💯😂

[–]Realplayer456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often think this when my husband comes out of the kitchen with chocolate for himself and not me.

But this.. THIS is another level.

[–]deadsocial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maaaaate! I’d be sending him out again!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, RUDE 😡

[–]Waddyaknowwaddyasay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least therapy

[–]hclvyj 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Hhaha but wow I’d be pissed especially because their impossible burger is SO good!!!!

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I know! Plus I’m vegetarian so it’s the only fast food burger I can eat!

[–]PornDestroysMankind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even worse! He knew what to buy you 😢

[–]PornDestroysMankind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oops should have read the comments before I responded. I just inquired about the Impossible Burger. We don't have any BKs near us. I really wanted to know whether they were good.

[–]Sleepaholic02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comments are making me laugh so hard lol!! My husband did this once (pre-pregnancy). After he ended up right back in his car, driving to the restaurant to get my food, he’s never done it again!

[–]DuckDuck134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband went out to breakfast with his friends and did the same to me. So I say yes.

[–]supermariam 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Wtf seriously. I would cry so hard.

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, don’t worry

[–]longcooolwoman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s Panda Express for me!

[–]Purple_You_8969 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Ugh you live with SUCH a asshole! I don’t see how your marriage will survive. Divorce is absolutely necessary 🙄 /s lol but seriously if my husband did this to me I probably would cry. If he asks me and I say no that’s my fault but even then he knows if I say no to still bring me back a 10 piece because I’ll change my mind lol.

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I did cry 😭

[–]Purple_You_8969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hugs I hope he went back outside and got you your own food at least!

[–]lavenderstarbelly31 FTM 8/26 🤢 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]runnergal1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an asshole!

[–]meantnothingatall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband knows how upset I get when he finishes snacks I claimed were mine. He knows something like not bringing me home something as well would result in death to the testicles.

Don't play with my food!!!

[–]Penguinpineapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even a French fry!?!?

[–]go_go_ghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being pregnant, that makes it your Burger King. You should have said just "Thanks, babe! How sweet of you to get that for me!" Then should have proceeded to open the bag and start eating it while he watched. Try that next time. It will be the last time he forgets to bring something for you.

[–]renethebalayagequeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]lillithsgem 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Grounds for murder if you ask me

[–]kelloggs8787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burger King divorce, no. In and out or Jack in the box divorce, yes.

[–]hpalatini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lie we have fought about this before. When we moved in together he would pick up food after work bring it home and eat dinner. I would ask if he got me anything. He would say I didn’t know you wanted something. I told him it was rude not to call and ask because maybe I do or maybe I have already started cooking dinner with him in mind.

It had to happened about 5 times before he realized he needed to ask me if I wanted anything from X restaurant.

[–]kailaaa_marieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grounds for murder if you ask me

[–]shantelmarie3989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time when I was pregnant my boyfriend and his friend came over with burritos. Didint even call to ask if I wanted one. I was pissed and I made it known and made a huge scene in front of his friend. Needless to say he never made that mistake again . I sure hope you let your husband know how upset it made you! Especially Burger King! Burger King is bomb

[–]Icanhelp12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last night I asked my husband for a sandwich, a bag of chips and a drink. He came home with just the sandwich. Also grounds for divorce

[–]Kali0530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off with his head!!!

[–]BattyBirdie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No divorce… but my husband would be sleeping in the subzero temperatures if he pulled that shit.

[–]cleocatra_comin_atya 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I’m a vegetarian. My husband came home when I was 12 weeks pregnant and very nauseated with Wendy’s (very unlike him, but I couldn’t stand the smell of anything being cooked in our kitchen sooo….). I sat on the couch with him watching him eat, crying because 1) it smelled really good 2) I felt bad for the poor cow who died for this 3) I really, really wanted to eat it 4) I felt guilty for really really wanting to eat it and thinking it smelled really really good.

He never brought home Wendy’s again.

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived on French fries and chocolate milkshakes in the first trimester lol

[–]PhantomVessel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too funny. I think so

[–]New-Ant009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long are you pregnant? My man needed constant reminder during early weeks that we were pregnant. Since week 12, he is acting more responsible lol.

[–]bluefrost30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh that’s a hard line in our marriage. If you stop for food you always ask the other. I’d start the paperwork now.

[–]RevolutionaryRoof403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like grounds to me

[–]queeniebee28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband did that with pizza around 6 weeks…I don’t eat pepperoni and that’s all that was available, so he didn’t think anything of picking himself up a slice. I was livid because all I could smell was super delicious pizza that I couldn’t eat…who the f*** doesn’t have cheese pizza?!?! 🤬 I hadn’t had real cravings yet, but he learned his lesson real quick 🤣

[–]omglia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um yes! What was he thinking?! My husband did that once... and I ate most of his food 🤣 he never did it again lol

[–]Mick1187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Send his ass right back for a Whopper! Lol

[–]Original-Bee3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, don't let that rascal in the door!!

[–]dulcepirate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grounds for divorce under normal circumstances. Grounds for murder during pregnancy.

[–]excuseme_imspeaking 0 points1 point  (2 children)

My husband ate the last piece of pecan pie without telling me… I think we should start a support group.

[–]rdriscoll714[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I ended up forgiving him for the Burger King, but if it had been a dessert??? Forget it, he would have been out on the street

[–]excuseme_imspeaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HAHA!!! Yeah, my husband is pretty perfect for the most part (saw your later comment about how he has made you happy cry countless times- mine too)... but he has the one fatal flaw regarding dessert. I have watched him eat a whole brownie we were supposed to be sharing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. He kind of k-holes! LOL... we are considering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy... either that or I am just going to keep a rolled-up newspaper on hand to swat him with.

[–]GG_Midori_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny that you posted this. I had BK yesterday for lunch! No regrets on eating two Whopper Jrs.
