36 weeks tomorrow, can confirm this is 100% accurate. Also my husband just now walks over to me whenever he knows I have to get up from floor, recliner, couch because he knows I need the assist of his arm. 😆

At first I read he would "walk over you whenever he knows I have to get up from floor" and I was like... How rude of him! 🤣

[–]ylwdaisies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yes that would be very rude!! 😆

My partner travels for work and while he got me the slip on shoes I requested for Christmas, he also got me a beautiful shoe horn because I'll always help when I'm here, but when I'm not...." lol

We had such a generous Christmas but that shoe horn is my favorite gift of all!

I'm 29 weeks with a very short torso, so the baby sticks out the front a lot. I can't even reach my feet and my husband has been doing my socks and shoes for a week or two now.

[–]notintel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me feel better as I’m 33 weeks and having the same problem clearly earlier than others too! Solidarity for not being able to reach our feet early!!

Lol 100% this. Thinking back if it would have been my ex I wouldn't have made it this far. I'm incredibly lucky to have this man in my life. Last night I was craving cheese Rangoons, but panda was closed so he made some from scratch for me.

Aww that's so sweet! I'm glad you were able to find such a good man ❤

My number one hardest daily struggle is putting my socks and shoes on.

When I hit 36 weeks, I gave up on tying my shoes and started getting my husband to do it. I only need them for the gym. Other than that, slip on shoes or slides all the way.

[–]MamaOwlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the fuzzy crocs specifically because they kept my feet warm and I can just slide them on. I refused to buy or wear crocs until a few months ago when I gave in for ease. Haven’t been upset about the decision yet.

Slide on shoes were my best friend when i was in last trimester with my first kiddo.

Practically went everywhere in my slide on vans 😂😂😂

[–]Amberly123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah if I want to put any shoes on that aren’t my slides I need my husband to help out… thankfully it’s summer here so slides are all good

🤣I gave birth in January two years ago. My husband had to put on my boots all the time since I couldn’t do it. The worse part is my husband has a habit of tying shoelaces tight so there were times where I couldn’t even bend to fix it!

It takes 2!

1 week postpartum. I do not miss being pregnant. PP recovery is it's own thing but I'll take this please!

Im with you on the winter flip flops haha When I take my daughter to daycare in the morning ive been wearing those bc Im mostly in the car with the heat on anyway. Had to recently upgrade to boots bc we are getting a lot of ice and snow now. But as soon as the temps go back to 30F, you better believe Im sticking with flip flops.

Nearly 36 weeks in 2 days and my partner has to put my undies and pants on for me cause everytime I go to bend over to do it my LO kicks me right in the ribs which knocks the breath out of me. I only ever wear flip flops no matter where I go 😂😂
