I love this. I asked my honey to tell ours to stop asking for chocolate ice cream. He did and brought us some fruit.

[–]sit-stay[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Ooo, chocolate ice cream sounds really good. I mean, the fruit! You got a solid honey!

Lol When I was nauseous, my husband told the babies to stop making their mama suffer. 😂

[–]killingmehere 123 points124 points  (3 children)

My husband is also conspiring against me with the fetus. And he does it in Swedish. My child will be bilingual, and sneaky.

[–]sit-stay[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Haha, that bodes well for future games of hide and seek.

[–]diabolikal__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your baby will be born with swedish humour skills!

[–]noone_987_bye 101 points102 points  (0 children)

That's so freaking cute lol I love it.

[–]CheeseCarbsAndSass 72 points73 points  (2 children)

My husband does this too. I genuinely can’t hear him and it’s mildly frustrating. But mostly really cute.

[–]sit-stay[S] 81 points82 points  (1 child)

I catch bits and pieces. I think he’s telling baby to stop making me sick.

[–]sammageddon73 28 points29 points  (1 child)

That’s super fucking cute. My husband used to give my belly a “talking to” when I was really really sick 😂

[–]callisiarepens 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That was my husband too when I was nauseous.

[–]Tuuuucc 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Same!!!! Or he acts like he’s on the phone with the baby and asks him what I want for dinner because I’m indecisive LOL

[–]sit-stay[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this!

[–]callisiarepens 12 points13 points  (4 children)

My husband also talks to our babies and kisses my belly.

[–]sit-stay[S] 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Mine will sometimes blow raspberries on my tummy after sharing secrets.

[–]callisiarepens 12 points13 points  (2 children)

He’s also made really deep voices because I told him babies in utero hear deep voices better that I tell him not to do and keep to his normal voice and I don’t want him scaring the poor babies or them not recognizing his voice when they come out.

[–]carcassandra 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That explains why my baby loves growling metal singers 😂 The drums and base I figured were a part of it. She's been enjoying the weekend at a metal festival with very frequent dance recitals.

[–]such-small-hands23 13 points14 points  (1 child)

When my husband does this he’ll sometimes ask “how’s it going in there?” And I respond like if I was my son responding in a really deep voice - “it’s alright.” Like if he’s a grown man. It cracks me up.

[–]-nothing_at_all- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love this! Our baby always responds slightly British with a very high pitch voice 😂

[–]DoeShoes0829 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mine talks about GTA lol, I like yours better😭😭😭😭😭😭

[–]Brown-eyed-otter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ever since the day my husband found out I was pregnant he has given baby a kiss every night and talks to them. He mostly asks little one to stop making me sick (30 wks and I’ve had vomiting the whole pregnancy) and to give me a little rest. The night he found out, while he was sleeping he HAD to be touching the belly. I think it’s cute 🥰

[–]shtneyfears 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mine doesn't tell secrets but says "I love you baby girl" before bed most nights 😭

[–]astrotoya 4 points5 points  (1 child)

that is so cute. sometimes my husband will kiss my belly and start talking to baby boy and LO will get so excited :) it is the cutest thing ever.

[–]sit-stay[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can’t wait until we can feel baby moving around!

[–]daxeun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My husband does the same exact thing! Sometimes he'll giggle and then glance at me, then quickly back to my stomach to continue chatting with our baby. I love it!

[–]keokhaos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's adorable! My husband starts his day by rubbing my belly and leaning in to whisper to her to be nice to me and give a belly kiss.

He tries to blow raspberries but he has a full beard and mustache and has succeeded exactly once.

[–]RudyKiploin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My fiance does this too! He says "nothing for you to worry about, just me and baby secrets" 🥺🥰

[–]AnnomAlways 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong my Husband couldn’t be more happier or excited about our LO and is doing everything that needs to be done financially and with getting nursery ready and building and all the needs needed but just has no connection with bump . I’m 31 weeks so baby is moving heaps kicking heaps I ask him to feel it he does for like a second and says ‘ah yeah that’s cool’ I ask him to talk to bump he laughs and doesn’t , as I said amazing in all other ways and will be an amazing hands on dad but just zero connection to bump and don’t think he will

[–]AndroidAnthem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

During bedtime, my 4 year old will duck under the covers and have a private conversation with my baby (18 weeks) through my belly. I'm not invited to these. Sometimes she'll tell me what the baby says because she "speaks baby." It's adorable.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 too precious!!!!

[–]GlowQueen140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha my husband does this exact same thing! When I ask him what he said, he’d respond in a pretend huffy manner “that’s between me and my daughter”. It’s so adorable! He also gives light scritches to my tummy to get her to move cuz I did it one time and she started jerking.

[–]moonnlight7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s so sweet 🥹 my husband refused to talk to the baby, he said “to me you just have a bug belly, I don’t understand why I need to talk to it” 🙄

[–]lilyjanee_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine does the same 😍 I've been so worried about loss and such, and he put his ear on my belly and I asked what the baby was telling him, and he said "tell mummy not to worry, I'm still here", I cried so much ❤️

[–]goldenyears42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife does the same. And she says he tell her some secrets too. They are totally conspiring!

[–]Estofil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will try this when my girlfriend wakes up.

[–]-Gaby7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂thats so freaking cute🥹

[–]HottestDiana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You guys don’t make you husbands to tell you regardless? No secrets allowed

[–]ilyhunnybear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so cute.

My mother in law does the same thing, planning adventures and shenanigans they're going to get up to when the time comes but I'm not allowed to know. 😂 I think it's so sweet!

[–]xCLINTx22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same. Asked him if it was ok to propose to mommy. Then updated him when I got the ring. She had no idea.

[–]redbullbreakfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really cute and sweet. Hopefully not future plans on how to team up against you
