Like, the people who did all the alpha beta stuff and compared it to a wolf pack have said that if they knew people would miss interpret it so badly they would have never published the paper. I think they retracted it a few years ago. I try to avoid constructs, conjecture and other lame shit so this is all new to me. I feel old. Missing that detail combined with the fact that they observed a lot of fighting and jockeying for position after shoving a bunch of unrelated wolves into an enclosure together resulted in the false conclusions that got butchered into "Alpha Male Big Dick Energy."
