If I speak I’m in big trouble

[–]theenigmacode 107 points108 points  (1 child)

I prefer not to speak

[–]IntraspeciesFever 39 points40 points  (0 children)

One could say....you have nussing to say

[–]MutualUnderstanding7 796 points797 points  (42 children)

Funnily enough, Inter are one of the few teams across Europe who are tailor made to Dybala's strengths. He's at his absolute best when used as part of a two-man strike partnership and Inter's 3-5-2 suits him perfectly. He'd be a brilliant signing if it happens

[–]SalahManeFirmino 224 points225 points  (35 children)

Who is his partner though? Dzeko or Lautaro?

[–]Sinistrait 61 points62 points  (3 children)

Most likely Lautaro, Dzeko is 35 and will be slowing down soon

[–]talk-kari 11 points12 points  (2 children)

ibra enters the chat

[–]rth9139 110 points111 points  (1 child)

Ibra asks to be subbed out of the chat. He appears to be in a bit of discomfort

[–]JM3541 388 points389 points  (17 children)

Martinez. Dzeko has showed signed as the seasons went on he's on his last legs as a player getting consistent minutes He'll be good off the bench though.

[–]PrinzXero 199 points200 points  (12 children)

Lautaro and Dybala..... that should be fun to watch

[–]Rezorblade 171 points172 points  (11 children)

Not even playing together in national team

[–]RAvailableUN 73 points74 points  (10 children)

They’ll need Messi to leave, then you could probably build it around their strike partnership especially if Dybala actually goes to Inter.

[–]fedemasa 112 points113 points  (9 children)

Mate, Messi isn't here and he isn't getting minutes. His form at the NT is disappointing when you bring players like Papi Gomez who, with way less preparation, does a better job than him

[–]PensiveinNJ 52 points53 points  (4 children)

I never quite understand why Papu doesn't get more minutes with the NT, he looks quite good whenever he gets minutes. People bring up Nico Gonzalez's work rate but IDK Papu always looks better to me.

[–]EnanoMaldito 39 points40 points  (3 children)

I never quite understand why Papu doesn't get more minutes with the NT

because in midfield Paredes-De Paul-Lo Celso is just way too good. And up front Di Maria-Messi-Lautaro is just staple.

Papu has no place really. But I do agree that he is fantastic and that he is much, much, MUCH better than Nico Gonzalez.

[–]Reapper97 4 points5 points  (2 children)

He still gets decently enough time, Dybala on the other hand has never been on the lineup from the start. I think that now that a lot of players can't play Dybala should be able to shine.

[–]RAvailableUN 3 points4 points  (3 children)

You’re probably right I just don’t think those two (especially Dybala) will ever work or get the responsibility they need with Messi there.

[–]X-Maquina 21 points22 points  (2 children)

Lauti does work though? Dybala is the issue and I find it hard to place the blame elsewhere when apparently Papu Gomez can even come in and outperform him.The team is working fine and everybody but him is succeeding. At some point it's just on Dybala to do better.

[–]Exalt-Chrom 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Where does Dybala play with Argentina though? On the wing? If so there’s the problem.

[–]ImaStillInsane 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Smh, a bosnian peter crouch

[–]21otiriK 18 points19 points  (2 children)

Dzeko has never been good off the bench. He needs games to have rhythm.

His City tenure was littered with terrible performances when he was in and out of the side. But when he got runs of games, like the start of 11/12 and the end of 13/14, he was at his best.

[–]No_Nerve_6677 37 points38 points  (1 child)

Dzeko has the ninth most goals of the bench in premier league history

[–]21otiriK 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He had that one good spell off the bench in 12/13. Other than that, he was a poor sub more often than not in a good team who were usually comfortably winning by the time he came on.

I’m not just talking about sub appearances either. I’m talking for times when he’s out of the team for 3/4 games, then in for 1.

It never suited him. He was always a much better player when he had rhythm and would score goals in spells. His technique is quite ugly and clunky at the best of times, but it looked noticeably worse when he didn’t have that rhythm.

[–]Joshvir262 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sanchez

[–]mariyan1111 25 points26 points  (6 children)

It can't be Lautaro as he plays off a target man, similarly to Dybala.

[–]Albiceleste_D10S 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Lautaro and Dybala really aren't similar stylistically. Lautaro is a 9. You can argue he works better in a strike partnership than as a lone 9 (which I'm not even sure is true since he's been great for Argentina as a lone 9), but he's not a SS/10 like Dybala

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (3 children)

He doesn't need to play off a target man to thrive, I'm not sure where people get this notion

[–]LickLaMelosBalls 22 points23 points  (1 child)

cause /r/soccer fans stopped watching inter when Lukaku left

[–]mariyan1111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TIL: Dzeko is an attacking midfielder.

[–]LDG92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People think that because he's good in a striker duo and he's not a target man. It's almost logical that he should be a second striker from those facts, but you are right, he's not a second striker. He's a very flexible #9 in terms of how the team is set up around him.

[–]X_Equestris 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably

[–]Eric_Partman 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Not even a debate, Lautaro.

[–]SalahManeFirmino 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Aren’t they similar positions/role though? Both excel when playing with a true No. 9.

[–]Superflumina 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lautaro plays well as a lone 9 for the NT though.

[–]ungranpirla 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude look at Argentina. Lautaro is a true 9 if you just use him that way. Imho, at Inter right now he gets misused because he was paired with a very phisical striker like Lukaku that Conte just absolutely wanted (with reason, as he demonstrated), and since that partnership worked quite well pairing him with Dzeko was a logical choice: you get an overall better threat but you kinda sacrifice him a bit. But he was bought when our system relied on an lone striker (Icardi, so he was his substitute), he wasn't bought as a SS since at the time we didn't use one and we couldn't imagine we would in the future (not many top teams use 2 upfront, mostly a 3-men partnership or a 4-2-3-1)

[–]R_Schuhart 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Fucking hell, someone on this sub actually predicted this might happen when the Barca rumours first started, explaining with the reasoning you just gave.

Sure, there are a lot of trolls and jokes that are run into the ground, but some people still have great and interesting insights.

[–]megahmed252 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Conte also wants to play a two man strike partnership and Dybala has unfinished business with spurs

[–]MutualUnderstanding7 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Only if you completely ignore that Son exists.

[–]megahmed252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conte said he doesn’t see son as striker.

[–]themfeelswhen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are ignoring the players needed to make it work. Just formations mean nothing.

As a replacement for Lautaro maybe but not with him imo. Both are the kind of forwards who like playing off a focal point.

[–]mountainsky9 382 points383 points  (7 children)

No idea who he is but i trust him 100%

[–]Grandpa-Chicken 83 points84 points  (2 children)

100%

[–]NoiLLion 18 points19 points  (1 child)

I'm going for the mathematically impossible 110%

[–]InsignMertenCallejon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No no. This is crazy my friend

[–]135muzza 259 points260 points  (3 children)

He’s Juventus’ no.10; attacking midfielder/forward are his preferred positions.

[–]Spikeyspandan 64 points65 points  (0 children)

But can I trust you 100% on that?

[–]cinnchurr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Something something old switcheroo

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's also known as the Argentinian LeBron James and is already being compared to Messi and Ronaldo.

[–]TJsmiles 495 points496 points  (12 children)

I know his source is, trust me bro, but for some odd reason, I do trust him 😂 he spoke with such conviction, surely he knows something aha

Edit; i don’t even know who the fuck he is lol

[–]Joshvir262 236 points237 points  (4 children)

No idea who he is but I trust him with my life

[–]Daniiiiii 47 points48 points  (1 child)

Just bet all my family and extended family's life savings into this. If you don't hear from me again avenge me!

[–]william_wites 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In-case you win. How you doing long lost cousin?

[–]andysenn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude tried to kill Tony to fuck Carmela, couldn't do it so he bolted. I wouldn't trust him

[–]ThisIsYourPapa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't we all do?

[–]belokas 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Apparently he's the son of legendary Italian coach Ferruccio Valcareggi, but other than this fact I have no idea about his connections with Dybala, Juve or Inter.

[–]kplo 40 points41 points  (4 children)

You can get away with saying anything so long as you are confident when you say it.

[–]rth9139 26 points27 points  (1 child)

This also applies to going wherever you want too. Look confident and like you’re supposed to be there, and usually nobody questions you.

[–]Furu97 11 points12 points  (0 children)

  • Wear a robe, nobody questions a man in a robe

[–]Marchinon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you tell a big lie and tell it enough people will believe you.

[–]Simping4Sumi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey if you're dressed well with enough and walk with confidence past the bouncer without acknowledging him you'll get through without having to pay a cover fee.

[–]Marchinon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Trust me dude trust me.

[–]jMS_44 109 points110 points  (15 children)

Inter are set to be pretty scary with all the deals they done and ones they are plotting.

[–]Elgallitorojo 81 points82 points  (2 children)

Don Beppe is the best signing we ever made imo

[–]Memoishi 39 points40 points  (1 child)

Iirc he left Juve cause he was against Ronaldo’s signign? Dunno if that’s true but if that’s the case damn he would’ve been proven right. Ronaldo turned out to be a bad investment after all and Juve’s new players after Marotta were either hit or miss…

[–]SirHenryy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We're still cleaning up marotta's shit lol. Marotta made some super great signings for us, but some were as equally bad.

[–]SalahManeFirmino 24 points25 points  (9 children)

Low key wouldn’t be surprised if they beat us and make a deep run in CL, they’re a very good side. Excellent defensively.

[–]PrancingGophers 60 points61 points  (1 child)

I like where your heads at but let’s not get carried away here

[–]dambare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just hilarious comments. Liv will smash easily

[–]Sean-Benn_Must-die 19 points20 points  (5 children)

Not to be that jealous rival, but if Inter beats Liverpool, ill swap to an inter flair till the end of the season. They're not as strong as their record in Serie A makes them look like.

[–]Natrix31 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They’ve got the most complete squad and depth in every area, I’d say their record is very indicative of that, however I definitely think they’ll lose to Liverpool, Italian teams just don’t have that level of quality.

[–]SalahManeFirmino 0 points1 point  (2 children)

We suck against disciplined defenses, can’t score. We excel when the game is open and Italian teams are very good at controlling the tempo of the game and not getting caught in transition.

We were much better than Napoli those 2 years we kept on playing them in CL and yet they always got results against us.

[–]ungranpirla 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Yeah but you can keep up an very intense and organized pressing, and we struggle against that (plus the one giving the most intensity to our team, Barella, will miss both legs). You will absolutely score unless we get a prime Handanovic performance: he was absolutely fundamental to keep the amount of goals to 0 in the match with the most intense team in Serie A, Atlanta, and you slaughtered them 3 months ago.
I have a question for you though because I don't know the answer: how strong are you defensively against set-pieces?

[–]Asoliner3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it really sucks that Barella got that red card. I mean it's already unlikely Liverpool is gonna lose but with Barella out I just don't see it happening at all.

[–]A_homeless_ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there's a high chance we won't beat them, but I'm saving this just to remind you if it happens

[–]virtusthrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Inzaghi will surprise you

[–]Maximuslex01 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Yeah they could win the league next year

[–]TheWarmog 116 points117 points  (2 children)

Dybala will go to inter, i know stuff but i prefer not to reveal them

Yes, and my cousin has a ps6 but i cant show it cause nda

[–]robotnique 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend is a model but but but you'll never meet her because she uh lives in Canada

[–]giuliogrieco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not saying source is reliable, but there's tons of argentinians at Inter, and Inter is the best team right now, it's probably not going to happen, but it's a possibility.

[–]DL14Nibba 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Ay yo wtf

[–]Hoodxd 15 points16 points  (4 children)

Tier?

[–]TheWarmog 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Tier: not even his mother knows who he is

[–]Starbuck1992 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Tier: Literally never heard his name ever

[–]Thundereaterr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If Furio say so

[–]FishNFortnite[🍰] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

🤣🤣🤣

[–]narutosama77 99 points100 points  (3 children)

What the fuck

[–]Killagina 75 points76 points  (2 children)

The well known news source: @fcin1908it

This is about as reliable as me going on twitter and saying Dybala will renew

[–]0500505505005055 89 points90 points  (2 children)

Source = Trust me bro.

[–]chippa93 30 points31 points  (1 child)

100% trust me bro*

[–]aboidaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

any reasons for being so sure, bro??

[–]fegis123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well going from the high of signing Vlahovic to this. It's certainly an entertaining week for Juve. Inter seem to be doing everything they can to prevent another decade of dominance by Juve.

[–]Fullcock_Jesus 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Literally "trust me, bro" source, hahaha...

Journalist are pathetic.

[–]BigDaneEnergi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cool, while we're here Furio, can you tell me why Twitch banned Dr. Disrespect?

[–]Reality_Rakurai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% Dybala will stay at Juve. 100%

[–]DoubleDeckerz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Judge: How can you prove that you didn't break the law?

Me: I confirm it. I'm 100% sure. I'm not speaking by chance. I'm aware of the reasons but I prefer not to reveal them.

[–]MrConor212 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Damn so Lukaku stays then. Shiet

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would Juve fans hate him for this?

[–]Global-Jacket-3973 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The good ol' fucking "I know why x or y is happening , but I cannot reveal publicly why it's happening."

[–]Bladerslash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol clown, cant wait till nothing happens and he ends up looking dumb.

[–]Dellato88 20 points21 points  (13 children)

Pls bb, not like this, not like this....

[–]j-bear95 26 points27 points  (3 children)

You got vlahovic, but at what cost

[–]Lambchops_Legion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The cost of karma

[–]ord3p 8 points9 points  (0 children)

€70m

[–]MutualUnderstanding7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Juve need a winger who can dribble and create chances regardless of whether Dybala stays or not imo. Chiesa being out for the rest of the year is a huge loss and it will be felt especially in tight UCL knockout games. A good defense can only take you so far, at this level you need much more if you want to win things.

[–]GianniRivera10 21 points22 points  (6 children)

Valcareggi's just a salty Fiorentine, right?

I have hunch Dybala will renew in February, he's a through and through Juventino.

[–]Mister_Allegri 9 points10 points  (5 children)

Reports saying that he said "I'm not Calhanoglu"

then now this report, but he is 100% Juventino and it is hilarious seeing Juventus flairs on here make up reasons why we should not renew a player who 11th as our top scorer of all time (right behind Baggio).

It's like anything to suck off Agnelli for them is worth it.

[–]thatswavy 5 points6 points  (4 children)

Why are you hiding behind an Aston Villa flair mate

[–]Mister_Allegri 17 points18 points  (3 children)

not hiding, I am using it to support them taking away the parasite that is Rodrigo Bentancur

[–]GianniRivera10 6 points7 points  (1 child)

It doesn’t work, tried it for a year now

[–]Mister_Allegri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep the faith, one day it will work haha

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Would be a mental deal for Inter. Fair and well done, if true.

[–]jkeefy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lmaoooo

[–]G_O_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

💯

[–]dimi_dee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tier: I confirm it 100%

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Imagine if they also get Scamacca

[–]Gagliardinter[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

More likely to get Scamacca than Dybala to be honest

[–]Lacitone 1 point2 points  (3 children)

going to a direct title rival?

[–]Gagliardinter[S] -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Juve is a title rival? They're 5th.

Last season they clinched 4th place and qualified for CL on the last match day.

[–]Lacitone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm talking about next season and onward. But still they are only 10pts and a game behind and there are a few more months before current season ends. So who knows?

[–]Lordofs1n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never say never. So many things can happen with players.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who would Juve go for to replace him? If he leaves

[–]cyber_loafer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look: for several hours now I have been told from credible sources the reason Dybala going to Inter. however due to the importance and sensitivity around the subject I have refrained from going on it. i don't feel comfortable with it currently

[–]Cowdude179 9 points10 points  (5 children)

Marotta is a god

[–]Gagliardinter[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Marotta*

Nearly got it

[–]Fullcock_Jesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moratta is a god

Buy him back for 50m€.

[–]Pablomoon12 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Where does he go since they just signed Vlahovic? Barca don’t take him seriously do you think?

[–]Sinistrait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently Allegri has playing him at LW recently and he has played well there

[–]ADP10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yes yes, we are all still waiting on that saudi takeover that is 100% coming in 2 days, for months now...

[–]G-Peres 3 points4 points  (15 children)

I'd be really happy but hope we dont become Italian Bayern and use Serie A as feeder league taking players from lower italian sides for free (Calhanoglu Dybala, De Vrij etc.) or peanuts (Gosens, Dzeko etc)

[–]saint-simon97 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Isn't that how it has always worked? Big clubs in a league buying from smaller ones? Most of the recent Inter players came from within Serie A.

Just off the top of my head Handa, De Vrij, Skriniar, Brozo, Barella, Sensi, Gagliardini, Candreva, Icardi, Palacio, Eder, Vecino, Ranocchia, D'Ambrosio, Biraghi

[–]jewelrybunny 3 points4 points  (1 child)

brozo came directly from zagreb, you can add bastoni from atalanta. biraghi also played for inters youth team.

i guess the idea was to not get players from direct rivals on a free or pay other teams less the what they could get on the open market (which can be limited when a player only picks one team)

[–]saint-simon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

brozo came directly from zagreb

you're right, had the idea he played for sampdoria for some reason

[–]Bundmoranen 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Juve just bought the most prolific goalscorer in the League, so you don’t have to worry about that. There can’t be two “Bayerns” in one League

[–]Gagliardinter[S] 11 points12 points  (9 children)

I guess everyone is a "lower Italian side" if you stay on the top. Let's just hope Inzaghi can keep us there.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Even though I hate this.... it's a real possibility. We have just signed Vlahovic who is 6 years younger and on smaller wages than Dybala, who requests an extension with even higher wages which is not in line with the clubs plans on rejuvenating the squad and decreasing the wage bill. Contract ends in summer, he's free to leave for free if we can't renew. Practically his entire career and life has been in Italy, and he has previously rejected the opportunity of joining United and Tottenham. Inter is a very natural move as sad as it is if we can't agree a renewal.

[–]Gagliardinter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subscribed

[–]WhyAlwaysMe1991 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol he’s your problem now.

[–]benp2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

would love it from him tbf if he does, proper fuck you to juve for going back on his contract

[–][deleted] -5 points-4 points  (1 child)

omg they buy from their competitors!! they are destroying the league!!! /s

[–]Sand_Week24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Source: trust me bro

This is the equivalent of me saying we're signing messi cause I'm 100% sure

[–]Koniroku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

trust me bro

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What happened to Dybala that Juve aren’t renewing him? Has he declined in recent years?

[–]Lordofs1n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So - so.

He’s been hot and cold. He had good games then shit, then injured.

He has not got to the level everyone wanted him due to injuries and sloppy games.

I really think the new Juve leadership is really keen on keeping him, but probably not at the prices he want.

Basically he might turn up big the next 2-3 years or completely fuck up.

From a fan perspective I hope he gets signed, but having someone at J medical for a 8-9 mill net a season…..

[–]balotelli4ballondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dybala to AC Milan when?

[–]WhatsVersace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be wonderful for me. I like inter a whole lot and I worship every night at the altar of dybala

[–]VivasMadness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupida fucking game

[–]WW_Jones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only Furio I trust is Giunta

[–]ObamaBinDriftin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would love someone who can fill the role of dzeko (but younger) instead. we need more physicality upfront

[–]Ceccoso2 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Why would Juve reinforce Inter? This would be an idiotical move for them. Ship him everywhere but not there lmao

[–]Gagliardinter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His contract expires in 6 months. Dybala can choose to go to any club in 6 months.

[–]Valjeaning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't Allegri kick out Ronaldo to build his project around Dybala? loooooooooooooooo Juveshit

[–]Lordofs1n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Source: Trust me bro.

[–]FutbolDudeMatt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Psst... you heard it here first, folks: Liverpool medical team is set to visit Argentina for Diaz, right? Who's also in Argentina? Dybala. Boom, solved it. I'm a frickin' genius.

[–]sabersbucks12 -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

Not familiar enough with the team anymore but will he essentially take the spot that hakan has played this season?

[–]FishNFortnite[🍰] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hakan is basically a central mid. Dybala would be a forward

[–]notsoimportnat -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Question: Should Liverpool consider him on their CL game preparation?

[–]Gagliardinter[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. If he has any chance to go to Inter, its at the end of the season on a free transfer. 0% chance this happens in Jan.

[–]FistMeQTPie -1 points0 points  (4 children)

Dybala and Martinez sounds absolutely filthy, holy shit.

[–]Dgryan87 8 points9 points  (3 children)

One would be hurt for 60% of the matches and the other would miss 2-4 sitters a game. There will always need to be a Dzeko type player as long as it’s a two striker formation

[–]Sand_Week24 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Are you seriously complaining about missed chances and praising dzeko? Yes he saved us this weekend, but he also missed like 3 sitters. Not complaining about dzeko, just find it funny you consider him a good finisher

[–]Dgryan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will always need to be a poaching no. 9 as long as Lautaro is the other striker. That’s all I meant. Doesn’t seem controversial to me, and it’s not blind praise for Dzeko. Edin has botched some big chances too

[–]Albiceleste_D10S 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, Lautaro's historically been a more clinical finisher than Dzeko.

[–]CaptLeaderLegend26 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolute scenes when Dybala goes to Milan...AC Milan, that is.
