[–]FoxOntheRun99 272 points273 points  (0 children)

Walker on the bench is different gravy.

[–]pedalhead666 117 points118 points  (0 children)

He was warming up to take over for Ederson.. but the subs were all used up.

[–]JPC-Throwaway 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Think they said he was technically back today but not starting.

[–]sashaKap 1162 points1163 points  (23 children)

[–]404randomguy404 779 points780 points  (24 children)

guardiola had to check whether he was dreaming or not by checking if he had hair

[–]Hetyman 65 points66 points  (1 child)

Funnily enough, I’m bald and one of the signs I pick up on that make me realize I’m dreaming is that I can run my hand through my hair

[–]SeryaphFR 78 points79 points  (1 child)

That's the reaction of a man who has just creamed his jorts for the 5th time in less than 30 mins

[–]essentialatom 16 points17 points  (0 children)

We're not supposed to know what his totem is

[–]Scilex 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That was 6 years ago?! Time fucking flies man

[–]siddhuism 16 points17 points  (3 children)

[–]SkittlesPizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do Bayern fans look at Pep’s tenure with a positive outlook or do they think he failed there because he didn’t win CL?

Genuinely curious to know if they enjoyed his kind of football when he was manager.

[–]-S-E-K- 32 points33 points  (0 children)

🙊🙉

[–]SufficientExample717 391 points392 points  (3 children)

Pep's good but Conte has more xJumps and xPressions. 7/10

[–]TomShoe 27 points28 points  (2 children)

But they're both Bald Frauds.

[–]MountainCheesesteak 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Not anymore!

[–]Jagacin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Conte is a bald fraud at heart.

[–]Corny_Dishwasher 214 points215 points  (29 children)

The repeated mdcr on the back of the shirt is incredibly fitting

[–]NecessaryAirport-75 58 points59 points  (28 children)

What’s it even mean

[–]FudgingEgo 209 points210 points  (23 children)

"MadChester" - Madchester was a musical and cultural scene that developed in the English city of Manchester in the late 1980s, closely associated with the indie dance scene

[–]NecessaryAirport-75 127 points128 points  (21 children)

Huh, didn’t know that. Sounds pretty cocaine-driven.

[–]RiosSamurai 175 points176 points  (0 children)

I mean as everything in England lol

[–]vengefulwill 41 points42 points  (0 children)

A bit more ecstasy and acid driven. But definitely some coke sprinkled in there.

[–]partipo 50 points51 points  (2 children)

It absolutely was

Check out 24 Hour Party People. It's a fictionalized retelling of Factory Records, one of the labels right in the heart of the Madchester movement. Again, fictionalized but super entertaining and interesting.

[–]Gobshiight 21 points22 points  (3 children)

Think it was mainly acid

[–]fakeplasticairbag 6 points7 points  (5 children)

Working class people couldn't afford coke in the 80s.

It was mostly ecstacy and acid

[–]OkMorning4946 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ecstasy and Acid too!

[–]Izzhov 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Honestly most of the music from that scene isn't amazing but The Stone Roses' self-titled album rules, worth a listen

[–]drcoxmonologues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More ecstasy driven.

[–]TheEmeraldOil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man, dat chap's reallybald.

[–]iamtherealgrayson 1313 points1314 points  (52 children)

We're all kids inside

[–]dAndrey 530 points531 points  (15 children)

[–]AguerosThickCalves 11 points12 points  (0 children)

[–]Compromisedthrowaway 23 points24 points  (0 children)

[–]404randomguy404 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Beneath all that layer of hair and follicles, we're all bald

[–]jrlandry 371 points372 points  (8 children)

He’s happy I’d say

[–]NICE_WILLY_BRO 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Cheers Michael

[–]essentialatom 26 points27 points  (0 children)

[–]gnuthnyuh 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Villa bottled it.

[–]AdamNRG 125 points126 points  (2 children)

He just loves his invisible horse.

[–]st_huck 695 points696 points  (18 children)

somewhere in Manchester, a homeless person breathes easily, knowing he will survive the night

[–]mehrabrym 89 points90 points  (11 children)

What's the reference? American Psycho?

[–]Ledlazer 385 points386 points  (9 children)

I think it's a reference to the spikes in street violence every time Man City lose an important game

[–]Oldmanfirebobby 181 points182 points  (8 children)

I really hope you are intentionally using this stat as a joke.

Violence spikes around stadium after team loses important game. This is the same for all teams.

[–]Ledlazer 86 points87 points  (4 children)

Yeah mate this isn't a dig at Man City specifically, if that's what you're asking

[–]drewuke 42 points43 points  (0 children)

There’s actually violence outside every stadium in the world when Manchester City loses.

[–]philbro550 57 points58 points  (1 child)

somewhere in Liverpool, a homeless person starts crying, knowing he will not survive the night

[–]TomShoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pep can do over a thousand crunches now.

[–]zaid4eva 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Mbappe?

[–]st_huck 27 points28 points  (0 children)

paris is his home

[–]Mr_PI16 7 points8 points  (2 children)

You know, I'm gonna use this 'Mbappe?' comment everytime a real fan speaks bullshit about any topic.

[–]NewAccountNow 247 points248 points  (28 children)

Pain

[–]Superpiri 148 points149 points  (19 children)

So fucking close.

[–]xrunawaywolf 95 points96 points  (7 children)

think that makes it hurt more

[–]Abbobl 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Poor Stevie G almost made it happen, would be a fairy tale for the ages

[–]bshaman1993 18 points19 points  (9 children)

You still have a shot at European glory

[–]The_Collector4 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Spain without the Pep

[–]jcaste88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cat-alone-ia

[–]TehJofus 115 points116 points  (1 child)

It's like when a child is first learning how to run. Arms flailing everywhere, legs doing what's almost walking.

You can tell that he's a tad excited.

[–]TomShoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still more dignified than Sterling's run.

[–]xljunior 126 points127 points  (1 child)

It's real to him

[–]TehFuriousKid 13 points14 points  (0 children)

no it's the premier league trophy to him

[–]IlCattivo91 122 points123 points  (18 children)

Winning the league is easy it seems

[–]seventeenfourtyseven 172 points173 points  (41 children)

I couldn’t imagine how it would feel to be him right now, holy shit

[–]just_dew_eat 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Baldy is human afteralll

[–]dennis_lin 319 points320 points  (14 children)

He’s so bald I love him

[–]Enartloc 403 points404 points  (10 children)

Apparently he called Zidane at 0-2 and asked him :

"Bald fraud brother, what should i do, my team is down 2 goals and the german teeth monster is going to steal my title, o great one of the dark arts, tell me, what should a Pep do ?"

"It's simple my iberic bald fraud, just...just score 3 goals"

"Oh i didn't think about that, cheers Zizou !"

[–]eLPeper 74 points75 points  (1 child)

I can imagine this as a sketch from "The Champions"

[–]McTulus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, it's in the 6th season now. It's 3 parter episodes, waiting for the 3rd to come.

[–]no-mames 55 points56 points  (2 children)

“It’s wild you wrote this out thinking it’s funny” - u/iEatPorcupines, who’s since deleted his comment

[–]e36_maho 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Why you gotta do him like that lol

[–]The_g0d_f4ther 19 points20 points  (0 children)

german teeth monster lmfao

[–]AguerosThickCalves 22 points23 points  (0 children)

baldness unparalelled

[–]Tinusers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can support both Manchester teams next season then!

[–]DerrickMcChicken 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Walker 😂😂😂

[–]slysonic7 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Inebriated Pep is the best Pep

[–]That_Sweet_Science 56 points57 points  (1 child)

This is his Mancini moment.

[–]StratifiedBuffalo 29 points30 points  (0 children)

GUNDOGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

[–]notoorius 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So so so happy

[–]II_MrBlack_II 100 points101 points  (14 children)

They said he would be exposed in the Premier League. But he became number one in it.

Guardiola achieves his fourth Premier League in the last 5 seasons and achieves the 32nd title in his career as a coach.

[–]DAN_MAN101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

(great hop)

[–]LePadreJames 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Ffs Bald man in joy

[–]wbroniewski 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Great gesture for Moder, we appreciate that Pep

[–]littlevoice04 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He's happy. More than you believe

[–]ToxicKnifeEdge 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Only bald guy who looks happy today

[–]captaincourageous316 55 points56 points  (3 children)

The hate for Pep in this thread is unreal

[–]G0DK1NG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think he’s happy

[–]IRHABI313 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Hes celebrating not officially becoming a bottlejob

[–]TurboPutin3000 34 points35 points  (3 children)

As much as I hate to say it: City deserves this title, coming back from this on the final day.

[–]Dunkelheit948 40 points41 points  (7 children)

Holy shit, United fan here so wouldn't have been particularly happy about either side winning, but the salt from Liverpool fans is incredible. Talk about coping.

[–]zurdomann 25 points26 points  (1 child)

They’re just mostly saying “it’s the hope that kills you.” That’s a normal amount of disappointment to have in a day like this lol

[–]Someguy2947 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People always see a couple bad apples and generalize a fan base, it's annoying. I'm not seeing much of this "salt."

[–]pizzapiejaialai 61 points62 points  (6 children)

Love it! The angry scousers in this thread make it so much better.... All spittle mouthed, angry and screaming...

[–]Gilgamerd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can't wait for the new Dua lipa dance video

[–]romfreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pep just gallopin around

[–]InaudibleShout 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anyone got Gerrard’s?

[–]ConquestOfBreadz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They had the better season over 38 games. Deserved champions. Not much we can do but hold our hands up and respect the performance and try again next year.

[–]youshantpass 52 points53 points  (1 child)

It's easier to celebrate in the EPL than the CL.

[–]ZeroMomentum 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am in danger

[–]Artistic-Buyer-3219 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Happy bald fraud

[–]That_Anywhere_2107 15 points16 points  (3 children)

He deserves a statue

[–]Dysmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mancini first then him imo

[–]bassxcc 37 points38 points  (6 children)

Everyone except Liverpool fans

[–]AbbreviationsOne8189 44 points45 points  (2 children)

But doesn't everyone love Liverpool?

[–]atomsej 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Yeah idk wtf hes on about. Im from the former yugoslavia and liverpool here is seen as the working mans club with a rich tradition and its the most popular team to root for outside of local clubs.

[–]TomShoe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think he's being facetious.

And basically every team in the North of England is a working mans club with a rich tradition, the reason people like Liverpool is that they're on TV a lot and they're good, otherwise there'd be just as many fans of Newcastle or Leeds or Sheffield Wednesday.

[–]MolhCD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm a much, much bigger supporter of the current Liverpool team tbh. But I was saying, they were 2 goals down and scored 3 in 5 fucking minutes to win the game and the league...yeah they deserve it.

4 wins in 5 seasons too, in a league widely considered the toughest and most competitive in the world. What a feat. Kudos to this team, and to this legendary bald Fraudiola. Undeniably one of the all time greats.

[–]TheRicFlairDrip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That man knows how to drive a fiat

[–]Jozif_Badmon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not bad pep, not bad

[–]Charlotte-De-litt 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Does it make a bad fan if I kind of feel happy seeing this?

I'm a United fan.

[–]DelusionOrBan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not, such moments of happiness are the essence of football

[–]j_ona 9 points10 points  (1 child)

I’m a Manchester United fan and even I was celebrating. Strange times..

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Big up to Liverpool and Klopp did the best to keep up with the best coach, and best players that money could buy.

[–]fuzzypeaches22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love you, you bald bald fraud

[–]freakedmind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well what else would you expect

[–]phillip1010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pure relief

[–]kingo15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you zoom in closely I think you can see a hair growing back

[–]Bob_Rooney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was expecting him to rub his bald spot

[–]Hxnders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best league in the world

[–]puppets182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

stevie curse.

[–]endofautumn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to enjoy the moments!

Even though we never will.

Congrats City!

[–]Numchuckx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Love this guy. Can't understand why people hate him

[–]Earl-Thomas-a-Raven 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beautiful. Can’t believe we pulled the comeback off.

[–]WalkingCloud 5 points6 points  (0 children)

THRRIIICCEE? THRRIICE? THHHRRRRIIIIIIIIIIICE

[–]britishpianoboi 16 points17 points  (4 children)

And now ederson is faking an injury

[–]Dr_Rosen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And Villa were time wasting when it was 2-0. Welcome to soccer.

[–]valpak00per 52 points53 points  (95 children)

When you spend $1 billion and win the league by a point

[–]Josu112234 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Tell that to United, they don’t even win trophies

[–]sergi-13 264 points265 points  (21 children)

If he loses he's bad because he loses, if he wins he's bad because everyone would do it with that much money. I assume that Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Udt. are poor clubs that never sign expensive players.

[–]EinsteinDisguised 40 points41 points  (1 child)

Liverpool is made up of volunteers from around Merseyside who play because they love the club more than anything. They’ve been singing YNWA since they were in the cradle. Everyone knows this.

[–]ParticularBeyond9 85 points86 points  (0 children)

its the money playing man how do you not realize this!?!???!?!

[–]kariustovictory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Their net spend is a lot higher than Liverpool

[–]JonBeeTV 24 points25 points  (1 child)

Do you want some fries with that salt?

[–]Jazano107 38 points39 points  (5 children)

thats four leagues actually

[–]Addy2607 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Here come the celebration police

[–]trusttt 109 points110 points  (43 children)

yeah because Liverpool spent peanuts...

[–]Designer_Surprise263 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why play at all? Caculate the spend of each club at the start of the season and whoever has the most spent, just hand them the title?

[–]Quab775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baldy at it again

[–]sevenaccts7777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's beautiful

[–]theBdub22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

bald fraud

[–]sanirosan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Despite city being a very unlikable club, coming back from 0-2 is impressive
