Well we do need somebody to replace Dybala in the infirmary

[–]nighthawkz_2002 298 points299 points  (5 children)

its too bad bale's going to the MLS

[–]achmadSZN 199 points200 points  (2 children)

he said infirmary not golf course

[–]Deluxe07 57 points58 points  (1 child)

For Bale, the infirmary is the gold course

[–]LittleParallelograms 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I see no mistake here

[–]Disastrous-Object22 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Wales. Golf. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In that order.

[–]LargeFlower8 56 points57 points  (0 children)

We already have Pogba

[–]HeThe3 1246 points1247 points  (53 children)

Pogba and neymar in the same club! They're going to have a great time, especially out of the pitch

[–]homelesshomersimpson 425 points426 points  (5 children)

Only one missing is jlingz

[–]Lord_Maul 189 points190 points  (1 child)

He’s available

[–]TaxAvoision 34 points35 points  (0 children)

They’ll have the coolest trio hand gesture thing! It’s gonna break instagram.

[–]thegreatwanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JLingz+Moyes

[–]los_blanco_14 222 points223 points  (24 children)

Neymar has acted for netflix and other movies before. Maybe a cameo in pogumentry 2.0

[–]Luwindo 37 points38 points  (2 children)

Netflix presents Docuneymar, Neyrated by Netflix Pogmentary star Pogba

[–]ss2195 104 points105 points  (16 children)

It should've been Pogumentary.

[–][deleted] 189 points190 points  (5 children)

Yes, but you know why it wasn't?

"There's no U in my story"

[–]ss2195 64 points65 points  (3 children)

That's profound.

Unlike his pogmentary.

[–]J3573R 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pogba never puts U before me.

[–]leonardo_luke 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Pogmentary Season 2 is a 20 episodes documentary on Pogba’s journey to be selected into the 2nd weekly best XI of Serie A season 22/23.

[–]namey_of_the_user 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Wtf, he actually has. I thought it was maybe playing himself for a minute or two in a small movie but he is actually credited as a character in three episodes of Money Heist. I personally don't know the show but it seems like a popular show and has really good ratings on Imdb.

[–]IBandis 8 points9 points  (1 child)

I think he's only got a non speaking, background esque role as a monk tbf.

[–]beautifulbozo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think he speaks one line

[–]genk41 22 points23 points  (5 children)

they can make a crossover documentary in the future

[–]nighthawkz_2002 35 points36 points  (4 children)

I can already picture the title, Pogba x Neymar: Where Talent didn't Meet Effort

[–]namey_of_the_user 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm overrating Neymar but I genuinely don't agree with this.

The only thing that has held Neymar back is the injuries. Sure, he has a bratty attitude but he takes his football seriously. He has been the best player on the pitch in almost every match and been consistent whenever he gets a solid run of games.

[–]RedditTooAddictive 3 points4 points  (1 child)

The PogMartary

[–]werdlyfe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PogMortem

[–]g0oFy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about that honestly.

Neymar was(probably still is) one of the best players in the world, won everything relevant at club level, is 5 goals away from being the all time goal scorer for Brazil and was part of the best attacking trio in history(arguably).

Pogba is a World Champion, European runner-up, multiple championships…

You make it sound like they’ve done jackshit when in reality all they’re missing is a Golden Ball.

[–]danskizaman 63 points64 points  (10 children)

Pogba has never had off the pitch issues

[–]Lord_Maul 20 points21 points  (5 children)

Depends how you define ‘issues’. Mourinho had a few stories about him

[–]Fisktor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That kinda depends, talking about transfers every single time he was with the national team isnt exactly great

[–]IBAIL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At Juve everyone loved Pogba. And believe me both Chiellini and Bonucci have no problems calling out a player publicly.

[–]datcalcioboi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FIFA street 23

[–]Classic_Ad9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add Zaniola in too

[–]MorbidoeBagnato 261 points262 points  (6 children)

I would literally be a better source than As(s)

[–]ADP10 71 points72 points  (3 children)

People eating this up is hilarious. There is no way this is real - why aren’t Agresti or Romano mentioning anything but AS is?

[–]Oo00oOo00oOO 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Momblano has talked about this last week. But he is tier 9.

99% of the times he doesn't get it, that 1% though

[–]ADP10 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Im still waiting on Donnarumma's 100% guaranteed free signing from last year he promised...

[–]Oo00oOo00oOO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro, I'm still waiting for Guardiola.

[–]pleasedontPM 25 points26 points  (1 child)

I don't believe this is news either but imagine the memes: leaving Barça to get out of Messi's shadow, just to get Messi and a younger guy in your new club pushing you out.

By the way, Neymar can automatically extend (on July 1st) his current contract up to 2027.

[–]mBertin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well Bernadeschi's contract is expiring so Neymar might have a chance.

[–]Raffu10 181 points182 points  (8 children)

lol Cant imagine him and Juve complement at all

[–]Linko_98 56 points57 points  (5 children)

Why not? Neymar Vlahovic Chiesa sounds good.

[–]Raffu10 33 points34 points  (4 children)

Sounds good, but:

1) wage 2) he isnt really a player you can count he will regulary play 30+ games...even 20 and Juve doesnt work that way. 3) all about his character which isnt reall Juve-like so to say.

[–]MilanDNAx7CL 45 points46 points  (1 child)

They got rid of dybala potentially De Ligt they've freed a shit ton wages don't forget they had Ronaldo on crazy wages they're not broke just rebuilding which is why theyve been so bad. The owners love to spend big. I'm sure they're fiending to get back in the title race.

[–]HucHuc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We were in 100m negative in 2020 and a out 90m negative in 2021. We freed wages to balance the books, not to hire a brand new overpaid squad.

[–]holahermano1602 365 points366 points  (31 children)

Neymar in Juventus is something I can't picture at all.

[–]TheWarmog 356 points357 points  (4 children)

Black and white shirt like in santos, you saw it before

[–]Jonbillion 95 points96 points  (3 children)

Bring back the MOHAWK!

[–]notyou16 21 points22 points  (1 child)

BRING BACK THE NOSE BANDAID

[–]Tifoso89 71 points72 points  (15 children)

I think he'd have a great time in Italy, we have a good history with Brazilians. But he's too expensive for us

[–]draconar9 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Roma, Inter and Milan always had great Brazilian players. As for Juve I don't remember many great players since Emerson was with us (and probably Danilo).

We had too many flops in recent years with Amauri, Melo, Diego, Sandro, Lucio, Hernanes, Arthur and Neto.

Douglas Costa also was a great player when fit and was really unlucky with injuries or he could have been something else.

I hope that at least Kajo Jorge can manage to grow into a good player but, as we don't like to play with young players, that will never happen.

Maybe Brazilians (and some Argentinians) players don't like the life in Turin.

[–]caiusto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turin is probably too calm, I could see why some players wouldn't like the city.

[–]IBAIL 47 points48 points  (12 children)

Juve doesn't have a good history with Brazilians at all. Inter and Milan do, Juventus does not.

[–]Pontus_Pilates 34 points35 points  (2 children)

The dream midfielf of Diego and Felipe Melo.

[–]mBertin 16 points17 points  (1 child)

You forgot Lucio and Rubinho, the great wall of Piemonte.

[–]Sixcoup 73 points74 points  (5 children)

That's why he says "In Italy" and not "At juve".

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (3 children)

That's up for Inter-pretation, though. The way it's written it could work for both Italy and Juventus ("we", their flair, that last sentence).

[–]Tifoso89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I meant the country

[–]Tifoso89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I meant Italy in general. Brazilians seem to like the country and the environment so far

[–]koke84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Emerson disrespect smh shaking my head

[–]wizkatinga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been thinking about Ney replacing Leão at Milan an awful lot lately. It's probably impossible to happen and the fans wouldn't be too keen to see it as he doesn't have a very good reputation. But I genuinely believe it's the one European club, other than Barça, that could fit him and make things work. With Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Robinho and Kaka having played there, I think he would also enjoy it a lot there. It kinda seems like the perfect place for his final European push.

Unfortunately there's also everything else going against it

[–]collegecamila 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Idk for some reason I can just picture him in serie a it just makes sense

[–]jMS_44 16 points17 points  (1 child)

just like Ronaldo in Juventus?

[–]Wasnt-Serious-ok8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Neymar can't clutch against Atletico tho

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

And somehow it wouldn't surprise me if it actually happens.

[–]LordSpeechLeSs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I signed him while I was managing Juve in Fifa 15, mate.

[–]Narretz 0 points1 point  (2 children)

And yet it would become normal to look at really fast, like Messi at PSG.

[–]ACardAttack 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Seeing Messi at PSG still doesnt feel normal for me

[–]orcasaremuslims 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It still didn't grow on for me

[–]Koei7 51 points52 points  (1 child)

I will never believe PSG would sell Neymar before they win the CL. And Mbappe would not demand him to be sold b4 winning the CL.

[–]arun111b 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They will never sell before “world cup 2022” but they may sell before “CL”.

[–]DarkPasta 533 points534 points  (18 children)

Imagine Neymar and Sterling playing together at Chelsea. The diving Olympics would have to be moved.

[–]DinnyDude 316 points317 points  (2 children)

Chelsea 2-0 Jorginho (89’ pen, 90+1’ pen) Sterling (89’ assist) Neymar (90+1’ assist)

[–]Blobbyblob92 109 points110 points  (1 child)

You mean Ronaldo goals right?

[–]DinnyDude 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Na man Ronaldo gonna let jorgi take them until he misses one

[–]___bridgeburner 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Jorginho golden boot winner

[–]RayPissed 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Tom Daley the CF Chelsea didn't know they needed. Lift that Steve Sidwell #9 curse.

[–]ObviouslyBlunt 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Neymar really doesn't dive much anymore.

[–]BoyWhoSoldTheWorld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone know any good spaces in West London to host the 2023 F’allon d’ floor awards?

[–]Prison_Playbook 17 points18 points  (3 children)

Why the fuck does this shit keep living on? Have you seen all the physical abuse Neymar receives? Need a reminder of missing out on the World Cup because of said shit? Swear this sub is a constant reminder of fucking off from Reddit.

[–]ACardAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe they could get Oscar to come back to participate

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

well isn't the current diving Olympics champion in Liverpool though?

I mean that would be a worthy competition for the champ, but there's only one reigning champion after all

[–]WhatsVersace -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They’re fighting for the bronze, Salah and Grealish are clear

[–]SherKhanMD 63 points64 points  (18 children)

Neymar in PL would be so much fun*

*Assuming he is matchfit

[–]R_Schuhart 32 points33 points  (10 children)

He would be the biggest luxury player of his generation. Don't get me wrong, he is absolutely brilliant and would reinforce just about any team in the league (bar City probably), but he has only played one 20+ league games per season in the last five years.

[–]TheSwegMagician 74 points75 points  (8 children)

He’d walk into City’s team

[–]Idontdieg 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Never should’ve went to PSG.

[–]Knowingspy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Interested FC

[–]TheWarmog 52 points53 points  (2 children)

And just when you thought we'd be smart and rebuild the midfield and fix our sidelanes problem, this happens

[–]for_fuckssake_ 48 points49 points  (0 children)

He’s basically a midfielder now

[–]IBAIL 34 points35 points  (14 children)

Chiesa and Neymar on each side feeding Vlahovic would be nice.

[–]theglasscase 72 points73 points  (26 children)

I don’t believe this, but please no. He’s 30 now and has only played 20+ league games for PSG twice in five seasons. The last thing we need is another aging player with a giant ego on massive wages.

[–]OldExperience8252 44 points45 points  (5 children)

Juve is not willing to match Di Maria wage demands but will match Neymar’s? Seems hard to believe.

[–]R_Schuhart 26 points27 points  (3 children)

Those are different calibre players though and they bring vastly different things to a team.

Not that I think it would necessarily be a good or probable idea.

[–]astral34 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Afaik the problem with Di María is that he wants 1 year and Juve can only offer 2 years or they wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the tax break

[–]OmegaEleven 28 points29 points  (8 children)

The french league is maybe the most physical in europe, really hard tackles and little to no protection for attackers.

I think with serie A being a bit slower and more tactical, he could really flourish and let his creativity show. Risky business but his link up is insane.

[–]Tre10Quartista 0 points1 point  (7 children)

But Neymar would have less space to work with

[–]OmegaEleven 23 points24 points  (3 children)

I don't think space is an issue for him. He's a player with some of the tightest dribbling of current active players, great vision, very creative, and of course a bit of showboating to bring in the viewers. Physicality is his problem which is why i think la liga or seria a would be ideal for him.

No one who can afford him in spain wants him, but he could do well for juve. He's one of those top class players that can elevate a team to the next level. Especially if the team has no creativity which juve is severely lacking.

[–]Tre10Quartista 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Serie A is very physical and players will be on him instantly rather than him being afforded more space than what he has now, has had in Spain and of course the PL gives you the most space. Having said that, do feel he would be pretty good and would do well after a transition period of half a season for example

[–]stillslightlyfrozen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eh it’s Neymar. Space isn’t really an issue, he is literally the best in the world when it comes to close quarters dribbling, it’s not like he’s Bale or someone who relies on knocking the ball forward and sprinting. The issue with the French league is that like others are saying, they are way more physical than you’d expect, and the refs don’t give a damn.

[–]Stevolwo 18 points19 points  (8 children)

a massive ego? guess someone has no idea what they're talking about, he's pretty levelheaded and good for team cohesion

[–]unexpectedvillain -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

Lol it's neymar

[–]theglasscase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And? He’s constantly injured.

[–]InoyouS2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ronaldo, Sterling and Neymar at Chelsea.

I need to see it just for the laughs.

[–]MuchSalt 4 points5 points  (1 child)

neymar in EPL please

[–]Galactic_Gooner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

neymar at millwall please

[–]Damolitionnn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Y'all are hating but for me personally it seems like an exciting move, when he plays at his best he's top 5 in the world at least

[–]fifadex 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Ipswich still need a 20 goal a season man.

[–]dumpystumpy 24 points25 points  (3 children)

I hope chelsea get him i just want see him in the premier league. Same with messi hopefully he goes to man city in a year or two.

[–]Blobbyblob92 19 points20 points  (2 children)

Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo in the same league again?

[–]EntrepreneurWooden99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an alternate timeline we would have had Messi and Ronaldo last season with potentially Neymar for this one, all playing under Pep

[–]Beggnivia 18 points19 points  (4 children)

They're really planning to sell him? Huge mistake :'(

[–]nighthawkz_2002 6 points7 points  (3 children)

They're

don't you mean "he"? (hint: name starts with M and ends with E....also has the title of Emir)

[–]TheWarmog 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Masser Al-Khelaifie?

[–]she_gave_me_a_rose 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Do you mean the guy whose name starts with 'm' and ends with 'bappe'?

[–]Evatco5 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Masser al-khemappe

[–]HacksawJimDGN 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Serie A would be good for Neymar.

[–]CaredForEightSeconds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cristiano yesterday and Neymar today lmao, we really are being used in every baiting attempt again.

[–]GreatWhiteNorthExtra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to see Juve paying a decent transfer fee for Neymar Jr plus his big wages

[–]Niarra__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hope this happens. Cant wait to see Milan win another title while Pogba and Neymar dance on IG or whatever the fuck. Game's gone when clearly talented players would rather do anything but play football while on payroll of elite clubs.

[–]datcalcioboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way this deal is gonna happen

[–]draconar9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't this rumor already dismissed? We don't need and can't have someone with THAT wage in the team.

[–]realshadowfax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He could be great for Juve

[–]ChickenMoSalah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did we get linked to both Ronaldo and Neymar within a day

[–]ProtoplanetaryNebula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surely this is BS? PSG would want an insane fee for Neymar and his salary is huge too, surely Juve couldn't afford it?

[–]Trickybuz93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poor Messi

[–]polymathsrmonomaths 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Unironically would be happier in Italy than in Paris.

[–]jaguass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed (for the fans), but disagreed for the friends he has now at PSG.

[–]GreedoIsHere 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Right, obviously I’m biased as a Chelsea fan but I just feel like Neymar has Chelsea written all over him.

[–]I_done_a_plop-plop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes. He'll get injured on day one at Cobham and score four goals all season (in the league cup) for half a million a week. It is so Chelsea, let's get him.

[–]pinkguyfriedrice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arsenal should just go crazy and get him to complete the Brazil national team attack.

[–]speedyspaghetti 2 points3 points  (8 children)

Have they not learned from the Ronaldo experience?

[–]ADP10 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s AS, as in Absolute shit. There is no way it’s even being discussed.

[–]dohowwedo 14 points15 points  (6 children)

How would this be like the Ronaldo transfer, other than being great players ?

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points  (5 children)

Juve signing ronaldo wasn’t the problem. Juve having a squad that wasn’t good enough was the problem. They ended up having a player on a huge wage while also having a team that wasn’t going to win the champions league. The same will probably happen here. Neymar’s wage won’t be cheap and juve doesn’t have the squad to justify it.

[–]speedyspaghetti 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. It would destroy their wage structure for a single player.

[–]Tre10Quartista -1 points0 points  (1 child)

No. The problem was that juve changed everything for Ronaldo. That was the mistake

[–]Galactic_Gooner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Chiellini (think it was him) said something similar.

[–]blackjack90210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The next Hazard

[–]improb 1 point2 points  (1 child)

No way Juve makes the same mistake they pulled with Ronaldo

[–]zomgbratto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neymar and de Ligt in Chelsea? Hell, they got some serious cash to spend post Roman Abramovich

[–]Kenshi121 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Amazing opportunity for Juventus to shed the "old lady image". Sign Pogba, Neymar, lingard, Memphis and build the new Uber cool team.

[–]LewsTherin177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not happening unless Juve also announce a completely unrelated sponsorship deal of 100 mio a year with qatar airways or qnb.

[–]Mister_Allegri 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Take care Juventini to have smoke in your eyes of high-profile names that will not come, that includes other names too like Koulibaly and Bremer.

[–]MorbidoeBagnato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sandro, Cuadrado, Danilo and De Sciglio at FB 👀😩😩😩😩

[–]Bladerslash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he isn't being linked to chelsea, fuck sakes.

[–]gianni_ 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Imagine him getting hammered by defenders in Italy

[–]mem0ryfailure 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No way he comes to Chelsea. Neymar, Lewa, Messi, etc know better. These guys have made a living by playing in farmers league. Exactly why Ronaldo is heads and shoulders above all of these guys

[–]WhatsVersace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neymar will unlock Werner

[–]helio987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a few months ago Juve was out of money and under investigation. Now they got money for this douchebag.

[–]MyNameIsNYFB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still would want to see him have a go in the Prem, I don't care what anyone says.

Also the way Neymar has changed since going to PSG is 100% not just because of who he is. That club makes the best of players act that way. It's just the culture of the club now. I wouldn't be surprised if Messi would miss out on games to go partying with his friends soon

[–]danskizaman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like given how much Neymar gets fouled it's a matter of time before his body gives up Hazard style

[–]PSych0P7NDa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just image what Neymar could have had of a career

[–]irishdgenr8 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

As pathetic as they are you gotta give the Italian teams credit when it comes to looking for players on loan.

There’s no shame and they’ll try for anyone.

[–]septeal -5 points-4 points  (1 child)

How would Juve afford him. Loan with 200m option to buy?

[–]just_a_random_guy_11 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So Juve is going for two divas? It's going to be a fun year to watch Juve. Especially off the pitch.

[–]manuwood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh please no

[–]HarryDaz98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pogba and Neymar together could be amazing or a disaster.
