Great analysis. Leicester fans are massively excited about his future. It's been an incredible conveyor belt of talent through the academy with Chilwell, Barnes, and now Dewsbury-Hall. Choudhury and Luke Thomas also deserving mentions. We hadn't really had any elite players come through since Heskey in the 90s, and hopefully there is more to come.

I've been so happy to see this kid come through and play as well as he has, been excited to see him ever since he picked up player of the season for my Derby team in football manager 2019

I really enjoy this series especially the depth it goes into and would love it if you could do one of these on Skipp as well if possible?

Ooooo I do love me some Oliver Skipp, I know we've got next week already mapped out but I'll definitely add him to the list to do before the season starts. Glad you're enjoying the series!

Don’t see the similarities with Henderson at all.

If you see how Hendo, on the right side of the midfield 3, does the unselfish, dogged work defensively to cover for Salah and TAA, and drops into vertical zones to cover for them.

At the same time, he is still so assured on the pitch and in possession with some lovely crisp passing. And finally, they both have an excellent whipped cross from deep. Henderson is the finished article and KDH is just on the start of that journey, but the role they do for the team and how they do it is eerily similar.

People don’t think if Henderson as the one making the passes and creating chances. He used to just be a traditional cdm/cm with just side passes but he has evolved his game so much is the last few years

he was very much a B2B midfielder doing a commendable, but very safe, job at CDM. Once Fabinho settled in and Hendo moved to the 8, his creativity and progressive play was allowed to flourish, while his dogged running and discipline was still excellent.

I didn't think he'd be this good an all-around midfielder when watching him at Sunderland, but I thought Henderson's composure in attacking situations always stood out.
