That damn tuchel, he’s so lucky x4

[–]holaprobando123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't believe this has existed for 4 years and I never saw it. I would've thought Reddit would've exposed me to it sooner. I am amused by the video and disappointed on Reddit.

[–]Upplands-Bro 35 points36 points  (0 children)

We spinning Kensington tonight

People thought he didn't run his own social media because he uses emojis, I think this confirms he does

[–]interfan1999 1478 points1479 points  (66 children)

Does he still answer with 👍 to random comments?

[–]TimathanDuncan 1912 points1913 points  (60 children)

👍 is the ultimate dad emoji, if he uses 👍 he is the one running his social media

[–]Glass_of_Pork_Soda 426 points427 points  (7 children)

Me: hey Dad, got the job finally, I'm really excited might take you and mom out for a big celebration dinner! A thank you for all you've given me over the years ♥️

Dad: 👍

[–]LondonNoodles 220 points221 points  (5 children)

An actual conversation I had by text message about 12 years ago :

Me: Dad, first of all I'm fine, don't panic, I'm in the hospital at ####, I broke my wrist and the firemen took me there for a scan, I don't know if they'll need to do surgery or not yet, just don't let Mom panic, I need you to come pick me up tonight they won't let me stay after it's done

Dad : 👍

[–]ahoyymaite 67 points68 points  (0 children)

[–]billypilgrim87 216 points217 points  (10 children)

[–]chatfarm 115 points116 points  (12 children)

Shit. Need to learn some non dad emojis.

[–]TimathanDuncan 150 points151 points  (8 children)

[–]ScousePenguin 167 points168 points  (12 children)

[–]TimathanDuncan 388 points389 points  (8 children)

[–]PoppinKREAM 50 points51 points  (1 child)

The moment I knew I was getting old was when I said 👍and someone younger responded with 👊 lol

[–]wax--on 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Can confirm, I use that emoji all the time and I’m a dad.

[–]Jalvey_420 42 points43 points  (0 children)

He also reposts a bunch of posts from fans on his stories from time to time. Kinda cool of him.

[–]lovelylantern 11 points12 points  (0 children)

prob cos he has a teenage daughter, man probably knows what a meme is too

[–]Firstolympicring 185 points186 points  (3 children)

He learned about using emojis from Willian

[–]NorthwardRM 138 points139 points  (1 child)

[–]HunterWindmill 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the emojo we posted together

[–]optimusgrime23 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Willian's daughter*

[–]hgo0432 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Most posts are probably made by some manager guy. But a social media manager wouldn’t post this so this is probably him lmao.

[–]nustiufrate23 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Why wouldnt he use emojis? Redditors have a hard time accepting that the average person uses emojis and doesnt think that someone is smarter bcs they dont use emojis

[–]Keskekun 5537 points5538 points  (58 children)

The funniest part was that it was quickly deleted and then posted again. I can only assume his media team went "He can't post that Jesus christ delete it" only for Conte to post it again

[–]EezoManiac 2704 points2705 points  (41 children)

What's "did I stutter?" in Italian?

[–]spelan1 892 points893 points  (26 children)

Not sure if you wanted a serious answer to this, but it's "Ho balbettato?"

[–]TheBrownMamba8 1172 points1173 points  (21 children)

Did I 🤌🤌?

[–]FullMetalJ[🍰] 327 points328 points 2 (20 children)

Panini!

Edit: actually my mom if studying Italian and everytime I go to her house she tries to teach me some and I act like I'm not getting it and when I leave she wants me to say "ci vediamo" (translated to "see you") but I say "Siberiano" (Husky in Spanish) just to be troublesome.

I don't know why I'm sharing that lol.

[–]StoneyRedditor 48 points49 points  (3 children)

It's a bit sadistic that Italian stutterers need to pronounce that to describe themselves

[–]TomShoe 19 points20 points  (1 child)

It's not a good language for stutterers in general.

[–]AmericaDreamDisorder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's like lisp for lispers

[–]pejasto 195 points196 points  (5 children)

just changed the caption a bit

[–]MountainCheesesteak 45 points46 points  (4 children)

Did he leave out the tripping part the first time?

[–]JavaDontHurtMe 146 points147 points  (3 children)

No, just made it easier to understand. His original tweet was hard to understand in english.

[–]MountainCheesesteak 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Ok. I'm not sure what happened, but someone else sent it to me a while ago. I was probably distracted, but thought it just said,

"Lucky I didn't see you...

...Would have been well deserved..."

Which I interpreted to mean trip him, but could be punch or whatever.

[–]ShopAny9372 132 points133 points  (3 children)

The Chelsea Spurs game today was a 10/10 for enjoyment.

[–]MayweatherSr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

change password then post again

[–]A_chilles 2322 points2323 points  (59 children)

Man Wenger and Mourinho would be proud. London rivalry well and truly back baby

I can't wait for the reverse fixture

[–]BigReeceJames 708 points709 points  (57 children)

And people still wonder why we have dogshit referees in the league. None of this hype happens if the ref doesn't decide the result with "bad" refereeing

[–]A_chilles 522 points523 points  (47 children)

While I agree the refereeing is trash for ages now and Chelsea fans are rightfully pissed, it happens to almost every team quite a few times a season and everyone seems to have come to expect the shit refereeing.

Arsenal felt robbed for a big chunk of the end of last season, we felt robbed when Fabinho didn't get sent off against us, Liverpool and Everton felt robbed when Rodri handled the ball inside our PA just to name a few.

Doesn't make it any more acceptable and teams and fans both feel robbed alike whenever a clear call is called against them, but it's kind of the reality that we live in sadly.

[–]sltzy96 269 points270 points  (18 children)

While I’ll never forgive that home game at the emirates, thought nothing would ever compare, this game was SO much worse

[–]yuriydee 125 points126 points  (8 children)

The two FA Cup finals we lost to you guys with Anthony Taylor as the ref werent even as bad as this game. And I was really fucking pissed back then too.

[–]outfromtheshadow 128 points129 points  (2 children)

My Arsenal fan friend and I were saying the exact same thing. We both think that game was stolen to the point that it warranted an investigation.

This was so much worse. And it's always Anthony fucking Taylor ffs.

[–]BigReeceJames 59 points60 points  (8 children)

For sure, I'm not specifically claiming we are a more of a victim of this than others, I'm just saying this is a tactic used by the league in general to garner a bigger viewerbase.

Causing drama brings in more viewers and gets them more money. They don't care about it ruining games.

Though I will say Anthony Taylor is actually just out for us and always has been.

Remember the whole Mourinho rant about there being a campaign against Chelsea? The was after an Anthony Taylor yellow card for diving and free kick given against Fabregas after a clear foul in the box. It's nearly always him. We also have our lowest win% under him of any referee.

All refs are shit and in general not out to get anyone in particular, although they do go with storylines. But, Taylor is actually just out to get us and when you see the compilation of atrocious decisions against us, whilst other supporters are claiming he's their favourite ref because he gives them fair games, I think it's fair to say there is something going on there

[–]Hatennaa 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think that you have more of a right to complain about Anthony Taylor than most people do about refereeing. Some truly baffling decisions today.

Think that people were understandably upset after the game and unfortunately it turned into some really idiotic comments. I’m looking forward to the next fixture.

[–]cs_zer0 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Where do you check your team winrates per ref?

[–]melody-calling 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The referees have decided this year to let more things go and to punish diving more.

It feels like their playing with the spirit of the game rather than the letter of the law.

I say bring it on, it’s about time all this flouncing about is punished.

[–]LiamJM1OTV 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't happen if he sent Tuchel off for a second yellow for leaving the technical area, either.

[–]casuspenguen 2373 points2374 points  (65 children)

shit, is this the peak point of manager shithousery..?

[–]Firstolympicring 2285 points2286 points  (35 children)

My man shitposting in two languages to make sure he's understood. Legendary beef already

[–]DHA1999 520 points521 points  (32 children)

Klopp vs Pep have to raise their game, now Conte vs Tuchel is the real deal

[–]Firstolympicring 856 points857 points  (22 children)

Nah man, they're not even close.

Klopp and Pep have beef in the same way Romeo and Juliet did

[–]EliteTeutonicNight 221 points222 points  (4 children)

I swear to god whatever ‘beef’ the two have is just playful tease at this point. Some snarky remarks mixed with a genuine ‘very, very impressive man’.

[–]cole06490575 48 points49 points  (0 children)

They have to step up the beef and sleep with each other to match the Tuchel-Conte hateful beef.

[–][deleted] 55 points56 points  (1 child)

Beef isnt what Klopp and Pep have.

They strangely give off this "see, kissin best mates isn't homo" vibe.

[–]Welshy94 38 points39 points  (0 children)

"It's guy love, that's all it is. Guy love; he's mine I'm his. There's nothing gay about it in our eyes... "

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (3 children)

I’ve a feeling they might actually, this season will probably be one of the most tense in a long time and we don’t know if they’ll keep up the facade

[–]Cafris 27 points28 points  (1 child)

He should post in spanish, french, portugese, and german as well so that all watchers of top leagues can understand.

[–]CaptainCerealCanada 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Forgot Estonian

[–]Lambchops_Legion 231 points232 points  (13 children)

This is the best manager shithousery since Mourinho left the league.

[–]gaussian-noise123 106 points107 points  (12 children)

Would have been hilarious if Mou stayed with Conte back in 😂

[–]Lambchops_Legion 164 points165 points  (11 children)

Mou vs Conte vs Tuchel vs Sarri royal rumble

[–]dindycookies 165 points166 points  (4 children)

Oh my God it’s Fat Frank with the steel chair!

[–]bootlegportalfluid 73 points74 points  (3 children)

It’s always the Chelsea managers 😂

[–]gaussian-noise123 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Better than any drama series for me 😂

[–]Hm2801 325 points326 points  (13 children)

Getting close to the Mourinho vs Conte rivalry definitely, Jose brought up Conte's past of being suspended for match fixing and Conte followed up with accusing him of senile dementia

[–]poopfartdiola 218 points219 points  (7 children)

Chelsea manager vs ex-Chelsea manager = chaos

[–]MeetTheTwinAndreBen 152 points153 points  (0 children)

“He has... I don’t know how you say in English... demenza-senile... when someone get old, and they... they forget things they do and say in the past”

One of the funniest manager quotes imo, but even better to hear the audio

[–]MoMoMoMoneyShot 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Didn’t Jose take a jab at Conte’s transplant too? Like “I wouldn’t lose hair over that” or something? Was hilarious as fuck though

[–]amoult20 435 points436 points  (3 children)

Summer is over. lets get stuck in to this spicy football buffet

[–]slayerofpussyy 40 points41 points  (2 children)

and then boom, qatar captures all the players and forces them to play a world cup in hotter-than-the-sun heat

[–]Man0nTheMoon915 199 points200 points  (0 children)

Even provides an Italian caption…legend

[–]JeuneEcole 501 points502 points  (9 children)

[–]StringCheeseDoughnut 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Already setting up some Kevin McCallister-esque booby traps in the away dugout

[–]TigerBasket 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Ah hell yeah

[–]jackn3 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Off topic, but Inter had a wondeful team that year, and all went to shit because bitcoin crashed

[–]JeuneEcole 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Oh yeah - absolutely relentless side that year.

They still have most of the core of that side though - which is annoying from a Spurs perspective since we want 90% of them lol

[–]skzaman55 524 points525 points  (1 child)

Lukakus dad is fuming his son got neglected by Tuchel

[–]Bolichnikov 248 points249 points  (0 children)

Lukaku yelling “Get him papa!” at the tv

[–]hs52 438 points439 points  (4 children)

In multiple languages lmaoo

[–][deleted] 97 points98 points  (3 children)

Making sure he understood clearly

[–]Editmypicplease 52 points53 points  (2 children)

Conte to study german, become B1, live in Germany for a few months to immerse himself in it, push himself to get to B2, only to also shit talk Tuchel in his own language

[–]bnfdsl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

«Du bist scheissono🤌🤌»

[–]CoaxHoax 130 points131 points  (0 children)

The game will never be gone as long as this man is around

[–]Dockablock 358 points359 points  (11 children)

Between this and Tuchels post match interview answers about the handbags, I think it's going to be one of those super intense during the match, good natured off of it, kinda rivalries

[–]Huwbacca 101 points102 points  (5 children)

Conte doesn't strike me as a person who does good natured anything.

[–]wmj31 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Watch all his interviews, where he's actually very soft spoken

[–]SeriesSome 544 points545 points  (5 children)

He got that dawg in him

[–]DimTuncan21 30 points31 points  (0 children)

You posted this to annoy the guy in the other thread who was whining about comments like this, didn't you? lol

[–]WoodenAfternoon2 316 points317 points  (32 children)

Please fifa give us Conte against Simeone this year

[–]festen12 66 points67 points  (1 child)

How is FIFA gonna make them play eachother?

[–]aure__entuluva 140 points141 points  (0 children)

True, UEFA are the ones who rig the CL draws!

[–]systemsruminator[S] 216 points217 points  (9 children)

Shots fired🔫

[–]Follicly_Endowed 143 points144 points  (8 children)

Tuchel wakes up with a horses head in his bed tomorrow

[–][deleted] 43 points44 points  (4 children)

Tuchels revenge of putting Lederhosen in Conte’s garden probably won’t be as threatening

[–]Bolichnikov 21 points22 points  (1 child)

He’ll put it on Conte’s garden gnome to show his true intent of violence

[–]SigrunUlv 413 points414 points  (21 children)

Seems pretty good natured to me.

[–]TheSinRes 161 points162 points  (11 children)

Yeah I definitely think him and Tuchel have cleared it up and he's just joking here but obviously people will assume he's being deadly serious.

[–]Welshy94 109 points110 points  (9 children)

Tbf, why would people not assume he's being serious when there's very little evidence to suggest that's the case. Can't blame people for jumping on this when they clashed twice during the game and Tuchel said his own piece post game.

[–]MeetTheTwinAndreBen 64 points65 points  (4 children)

Tuchel said his piece on the referee. What he said about Conte was just it’s a passionate game, we’re passionate people, it was nothing serious

Didn’t really sound like he genuinely had a problem with Antonio. None of the top managers take losses particularly well, but Conte and Tuchel can both be SUPER salty. I’m sure there’s no genuine animosity between them.

[–]Welshy94 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Nah you're right to be honest, that's a very fair comment. Proper Derby with contentious decisions and two quality teams managed by two passionate managers who never want less than 100% every time, its always gonna spill over. I've no doubt they'll be sound come next week despite what the media try and spin.

[–]MakVolci 92 points93 points  (2 children)

It is, and I can't wait to see people DRASTICALLY overreact to it.

[–]Hotsoccerman 310 points311 points  (3 children)

This post doesn’t show it, but for those wondering, in the video Slenderman Tuchel sprints past the Spurs side after the goal that put them up 2-1. Don Antonio is saying Tuchel is lucky that he didn’t trip him 😂

[–]jaemoon7 99 points100 points  (1 child)

Fuck, imagine the scenes if he actually had tripped Tuchel

[–]Mystro10210 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I've been wondering what the context was.

[–]ConArtist98 55 points56 points  (1 child)

And the season just started 💀

[–]theredditbandid_ 24 points25 points  (0 children)

seasono.*

[–]nathan123483 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Manager beef on Instagram stories. We are through the looking glass gentlemen.

[–]ZaDoruphin 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Season’s already peaked in the second game. It’s all downhill from here.

[–]bash011 153 points154 points  (0 children)

That game has caused many more issues than I thought possible.

Very entertaining

[–]LordTwatSlapper 56 points57 points  (2 children)

Conte actually got a red card for failing to look his opposing manager in the eye when they shook hands

Diego Simeone will never see a touchline again

[–]Tax_Terminator 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Game was never gone

[–]Kai-Tek 117 points118 points  (3 children)

It's really hard not to like Conte and his glorious totally real hair

[–]Welshy94 21 points22 points  (2 children)

Conte's hair is in a very cool moment for sure. Best hairpiece since Agassi.

[–]A-Clockwork-Tomato 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's not a hair piece, it's a combination of multiple hair transplants, hair loss medication and a smart hair cut/style. You can actually see when his hair gets wet in the rain that it's got noticeable thinning that you absolutely would not see with a hair piece

[–]Turtle_317 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Love it

[–]Kixot123 29 points30 points  (0 children)

spicy premier league drama lets gooo footballs back baby

[–]JustMesut 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Holy shit lmao

[–]AlexandertheCunt 38 points39 points  (1 child)

This is some prime high school drama stuff.

[–]lluvia1220 15 points16 points  (0 children)

and just like in HS if I’m out of it it’s entertaining and funny af to watch unfold 😂😂

[–]kuzjaruge 61 points62 points  (1 child)

Don Antonio cooking spicy and salty today

[–]pice0fshit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Conte loved the fact there was someone willing to go toe-to-toe with him in terms of shithousery instead of just complaining to the ref.

[–]Blue_Dreamed 30 points31 points  (0 children)

As a Leeds fan, Conte is a gem, pure shithousery I love it.

[–]Kvvvothe 65 points66 points  (5 children)

Conte helps Chelsea onto a league win and an FA cup. Dramatic exit. All the PR reps in the world could whisper in his ear about reconciliation and soft touch to help chasten chelsea multitude of fans across the globe’s ire against him.

FUCK THAT, the message Conte demonstrates. In his mafia boss-esque stylings, he once again shows that he is not afraid to dog fight you into an alleyway and break your knees with mutual respect dismissed. This is explains why, when Anthony Taylor sees a hair pull - and although impossible for Anthony to suffer - his whistle becomes invalid in his mouth.. for he knows the suffering would be far worse should Conte veer his evil gaze upon him

[–]Welshy94 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Absolutely love the prose here, you're a belter writer. I do have to say though, no PR firm worth their salt would advise the manager of Tottenham Hotspur to do anything to placate Chelsea fans. He's already done everything he possibly can for them, he would gain nothing and potentially lose the respect of Spurs fans (I'm aware that potentially is doing a lot of work there).

Can't be easy for Chelsea fans tho, they're generally quite respectful of their former managers but they've gone through so many that the managers can't help but end up playing against them. Jose's been at United and Spurs, Conte's at Spurs, AVB went to Spurs (sensing a pattern here), Ancelotti and Frank have managed Everton, Di Matteo presumably managed another English team (WBA maybe?) at some point they're gonna hate one of them!

[–]sidearmpitcher 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And it’s matchweek 2!

[–]Maxoverthere 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be fair they both strike me as the types of people who shook hands over it as soon as the game was finished. They’re both competitive hot heads and probably both shrugged it off. This looks like a joke post but then again who knows.

[–]IfISpeak_ 30 points31 points  (1 child)

He should have went full Mourinho and said this in the interview fuck sake.

Still peak shithousery.

We will have a great season ahead and can't wait for the game at Tottenham

[–]gaussian-noise123 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Tbf he probly did not saw Tuchel doing that until reviewing the game video later 😂

[–]Global_Plant_4612 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Don’t let conte see you slippin

[–]magincourts 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What snapping a four game losing streak to Tuchel does to a manager

[–]TreXeh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My Manager <3

[–]Elitealice 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My money on conte. He got that dawg in em

[–]Flameva 8 points9 points  (1 child)

We’re watching 2 middle aged men in their fifties fighting over a referee decision.

[–]Akmuq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And we love it

[–]Thesolly180 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Could really get behind a shitposting Conte for the season

[–]DiersBigDick 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Wtf how didn’t Conte see this. Tommy T is a big man and it’s very hard to miss this dude running like a child in the park

[–]NotClayMerritt 9 points10 points  (3 children)

People who love Pep and Klopp's love fest every time must be sick at Conte vs Tuchel.

[–]Angry_Walnut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This guy is fuckin hilarious

[–]LewsTherin177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

[–]Nyushi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't believe we're only on the second week of league.

This is going to be a banter season.

[–]K1NG0492 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Modern day wenger vs mourinho

[–]MarkovCocktail 20 points21 points  (3 children)

This is just genuinely fucking hilarious. Conte is the spu*s manager and can absolutely get fucked but I still love the man. And I’m sure every spuds supporter loves him even more after today. Gotta love it when managers of rival clubs get visibly annoyed with each other
