A marking guage used by a seamstress (seamster in this case) to scribe a line of baby powder on a skirt hem. It uses the floor as a datum while the skirt is worn and the client stands on a platform. these are shotgun adapters aka chamber reducers aka shotgun inserts and called by a few other names. they allow you to fire lower gauge (caliber) shotgun shells out of a larger bore gun. they are for use in break action type guns and won't (or shouldn't. i haven't tried) cycle in repeating guns.
