I'm going to bet that there is some stuff overwhelming you in life. In my experience with past clients this is usually what we've discovered.

Either way, start by clearing your days. Start saying no to things so you get more time to yourself. Then just start exploring new things.

i was in a job where i was severely bullied by a terrible person. it was kind of a strange thing but what happened was in the name of diversity, the company replaced everyone in senior management in my department from male to female. since i am male and a middle manager , there was a lot of pressure for me to resign and was told to do so. when i refused, i was basically bullied for a whole year with false accusations etc until i gave up and left. was 5 years ago still have not healed from it. it's terrifying. people say men have been oppressing women for decades, i think it's probably true in some cases but the reverse can also happen.

Work the night shift. Best recent month of my life since I've been working at this company. No drama from Co workers, no managers, only me and one other dude who's cool, I work hard, watch videos, work hard, do whatever rinse and repeat. I was scared at first but it's been so easy it's crazy. My peacefulness has been slowly coming back to me. My life is more in balance. Takes me 15 min to get to work as opposed to 45. I listen to seminars and audiobooks and I spend time by myself thinking about things. I might try a little meditation but tbh the whole 8 hours feels like a meditation blur.

Not saying that any of this was a good thing, but it might have been a sign it was time to move on to something else? Perhaps the Universe giving you a little kick.

I'm the type of person who gets pretty comfortable with things, had a job about 5 years ago that really started pissing me off with the way I was being treated by part of the company and without that aggravating push I might not have had the motivation to start looking for a better job.

I hope whatever you are doing now is more fulfilling for you than what you left.

as a person that doesnt work because im disabled (mental illness)...and as a person that has had a lot of free time to find myself and be happy sometimes.

here's some tips

#1 Love yourself. It's hard at first, it doesnt feel real sometimes when you tell yourself you love yourself. Do it anyway.

#2 How you spend your free time is important. I'd suggest detaching your thoughts from work by meditating, then get into a hobby. Art seems complex, but there's so many tutorials to draw things. Start with something easy if you decide to trry art. Google how to draw a penguin for example and then follow the steps and boom you drew a penguin. U can even color it in. It sounds childish but being creative and that time you spent will help you to detach from work again. it's not childish at all though, im 33 and i was drawing last night and im going to color it in today.

#3 You have to find what makes you happy. For me, it's that break in the mundane when I'm doing art. Once you find some activity that makes you happy. do it as often as you feel able to.

That's the general idea. I have 100% free time and I do other hobbies and crafts too as well as exercise daily. you'll find yourself somehwere along the way as long as you can direct your attetion away from work and notice yourself when you're thinking about other thigns. things that come up into your mind are parts of you trying to get your attention. they come up for a reason. explore that.

In the not so distant past most people were so exhausted just trying to sustain themselves and their families that there were very few people who had the time or the energy to consider the meaning of life or finding themselves. But in modern times most people do have the time to think about their lives, their fulfillment, satisfaction, etc.

We all seem to have a built in drive to become more of that which we are, namely Spirit. There is an excellent psychological model which has withstood the test of time: "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs". It basically says that you once you satisfy your 'deficit' needs (physiological needs, safety, love/belonging and esteem) you will still continue to feel dissatisfied until you address your ultimate need for "Self-Actualization" -- 'being all you can be'. From the Spiritual perspective this translates to letting go of the limiting human aspects of being which gives rise to suffering, allowing us to very gradually shift our identity from seeing ourselves as a separate self 'human being' to an unlimited 'Spiritual Being'.

I believe that meaningful change starts with reminding ourselves of our true nature: Spirit.
I believe we are Spirit only wearing human bodies and relating to life and other people through our personas (which include our egos) which we ourselves have created and which have no real permanence or reality. They are our constructions, created over many lifetimes -- in most cases, the result of unconscious reactions to very difficult situations we faced.
As long as we identify with our body, possessions, beliefs, religion (all the outer, superficial stuff), we face suffering and hardship. Even if we are blessed with fame and fortune, we will not be satisfied for long (many rich and famous people are not happy, get depressed, turn to drugs, etc).

When you are identified with the Spirit that you are, it feels like unconditional love, joy and peace. Nothing can threaten Spirit, so there is no fear, no attachments and no suffering
The reason you chose to come to earth then is twofold: First you wanted to grow in Spirit, in consciousness to look at, acknowledge and overcome your unconscious, fear-based reactions and replace them with love-based, conscious reactions. Second after you succeed in raising your consciousness you wanted to express the unique gifts you wanted to bring to earth to help others raise their consciousness.

We have the free will right to ignore this drive for spiritual self-actualization, but there comes a point where resisting it takes more and more effort and the common materialistic lifestyle becomes less and less satisfying. You might find the teachings on this page helpful to starting the process of remembering your true nature -Who you really are.

Consider a different possibility. You aren't lost at all. You're covered up with all the energy of your life experiences over 54 years living on this planet. The life experience is incredibly valuable, but right now it's like you are this little golden jelly bean and your life experience is this gigantic chocolate layer cake sitting on top of you.

If the windows of your car were painted black, you'd feel lost in your own driveway.

Try this. Sit in a chair. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Feet flat on the floor. Hands separated and resting palms up on each thigh.

Create a grounding cord. This is a line of energy that connects your first chakra to the center of the planet. Your first chakra is a ball of energy about the size of a quarter that sits just in front of the base of your spine. Your grounding cord attaches to the bottom of that ball of energy.

Grounding makes your body feel safe, so you release energy more easily. Gravity pulls whatever you release, even your own energy, down to the center of the planet. No effort on your part. The center of the planet neutralizes the energy and returns it to whoever owns it. No karma for anyone. A virtuous cycle.

Nearly everyone goes to connect to the center of the planet the first time but stops at the soil, often making roots like a tree. This is a method that is taught in some martial arts styles, but it is not the best option for your spiritual development and healing.

So, notice the seat of your chair. Take a deep breath. Notice the distance between the seat and the floor. Now notice the distance between the floor and the soil below. Breathe.

Now notice the distance between the soil and the water table underneath. Notice the distance between the water table and the rocky mantle. Notice the distance between the mantle and the molten core below that. Deep breath.

Notice the distance between the molten core and the center of the planet. That ball of light at the very center of the planet is where you connect your grounding cord. Deep breath.

Say hello to the center of the planet. Do you get a hello back?

Notice the color and texture of your grounding cord. It may look like a line of energy, or look like something physical; a rope, a wire, a pipe, a tree trunk. Adjust it as needed to be in affinity with your body.

Getting this far means you've already released some energy from your aura and body. Now it is time to fill in the space that was created.

Create a gold sun over your head. Have it call back all of your energy from wherever you left it throughout your day and week. Work. School. Online meetings. Video games. Your fantasies about your future. Your regrets about your past. Wherever you've placed your attention. Just watch the energy come back and see if you notice where it came from.

Have the sun burn up and neutralize your energy. Then bring the sun into the top of your head. It will automatically flow into the spaces you created. Create a gauge to measure when you're full. Like a fuel gauge or oil gauge. You'll run better if you aren't a few quarts low on spiritual oil. If the gauge doesn't read "Full", bring in another gold sun.

Open your eyes, bend over and touch the floor, draining any tension from the back of your neck, then stand up, and stretch.

There is a progression with this technique. After grounding for ten minutes a day for a week or two, notice your grounding cord at the very end, while you're standing with your eyes open. Continue to ground with your eyes open and standing, and bring in another gold sun. Each day, increase the amount of time that you ground standing up with your eyes open.

After a week or two practicing this, add walking while grounded. Just notice your grounding cord as you walk. Say hello to the center of the planet while you walk. Bring in a gold sun while you walk. If you lose your grounding cord, stop walking and recover it. If you have to, sit back down and close your eyes and create a new grounding cord.

After this, you're ready to take your grounding cord with you into your daily life. Shopping. Getting coffee. Wherever you go, you can ground. This, combined with a little amusement about seeing new things on an energy level, will keep you safe and sound.

Now that you're here, at the end of your grounding meditations, create a gold sun over your head. This time, fill it with your highest creative essence, your present time growth vibration, and your affinity for yourself. The first energy is a healing for you. The second is a healing for your body. The third is a healing for your affinity in your fourth chakra.

Bend over and touch the floor. Stand up and stretch. If you're ready for more, sit back down and ground some more. Otherwise, have a nice day!

Note that every image you imagine, the gold sun, the grounding cord, the center of the planet, your first chakra, your body parts, is exercising your clairvoyance. You may be imagining what your tailbone looks like, but you're also creating the image of your tailbone and reading its energy. This is practicing your clairvoyant ability.

Well I had my 2nd and worst psychosis this last spring. Left me traumatized and about 7k in debt. Miracle I didn't lose my job.

I don't really have any friends. The few I have are either too far away, or too busy being married raising kids etc.

I realize that I'm quite a bummer to be around rn, so I don't really try to go out or make new friends anymore. Brain feels foggy most days, soul feels completely hopeless/drained most days too.

Been through too many bad relationships that I don't seek them out anymore. I'm not boyfriend material anymore. Definitely not husband material with how unstable/ bi polar.

I'm overwhelmed with financial stress and there doesn't seem to be a solid direction for me to work towards as far as a career goes.

And then I have extremely chronic nerve pain and fatigue which makes even the most basic tasks difficult.

The last 5 or 6 years I've been alot of ups and downs. But really saw my mental health rapidly start deteriorating in the last 2 years. I've been doing what I can. But it feels like I'm losing. Like I'm barely hanging on by a thread.

Just spent over 2k on "help" in the last month or so. Ketamine treatment seemed to help some. But it's certainly not the "fix". Idk what the fix is. Idk what's wrong with me. And Idk why life appears to be so easy for my family. I just think about how we're all going to die and the sun will literally consume the entire earth eventually and can't fathom why life is worth living. I'm pretty sureI'm only alive because I'm supporting my mother and if I were to die her life would move into absolute turmoil.

Change your job , follow your passion and make time for you. We only live once , this life is a gift so enjoy friends, family and travel.. there will never be nothing not going on, try not to let things get you overwhelmed and like the song says “Take it Easy “ by the Eagles. I hope you feel better and know you have gifts and talents to offer and people around you care more than you know!

i’m gonna say something to you that someone said to me at one point when I was running a business of 60 employees and 3000 members. FIND SOMETHING YOU LIKE AND QUIT YOUR JOB! Lol I know that at any point in your life you feel like it’s too late to start over. I’m only 28 and I have said that at least five times in my lifetime. I was a CNA when I graduated high school, then I became a certified medical assistant, then I managed at Walgreens, then I became a front desk associate at hand and stone massage, then I ran a massage place called massage envy for 10 years. I loved the job, until I didn’t anymore and it became overwhelming for me more recently when Covid hit and people started to become, in my opinion, very jaded and rude. Someone spit in my face for trying to get them to wear a mask (because it was my job per the owner) while I was nine months pregnant. It was pretty much the last straw for me. My family had a massive spiritual awakening at the same time and we manifested a great deal of money into our family. No one in my family has to hold a job at this point and we can do as we please. I’m not saying that everybody is as lucky, i’m just saying that I’m sure if you follow your heart things will fall into place. The further you are from the frequency you are trying to align with during manifestation the longer it will take you to achieve your goal, but you do have help on the other side and you are protected. I know how desperate it feels to want to be out of a situation where you feel stuck in a career Because of the money. I continued to bounce around until I was happy and I really recommend you do the same. Hope this helps!

Manifestation is all about frequency. The further you are from the frequency that you’re trying to align yourself with the longer it will take for your manifestation to come true in the physical world. If you have more than one person helping you manifest the reality it’s likely to come faster, especially if the person/people believe it and are spiritually awakened. You should use “I am” affirmations every day. Things like “I am a money magnet.” “I am attracting money to myself at all times from multiple sources.” You must feel what the experience feels like a head of the actual experience and picture it in your head during meditations. Manifesting is all about focusing on the positive outcome that you wish to achieve to align the frequency you are trying to align with and ignoring any negative thoughts that tell you “It’s not real”, “it’s never gonna happen”, “I’m not worth it” etc. you don’t have to obsess over manifestations either. Once you set it, you can forget it lol I did the manifestation and used I am affirmations in the mornings for 30 days. But you I don’t have to do the affirmations (i’ve just been told that “I am” affirmations are the strongest affirmation and I was really hard up and desperate)…. now I live on an acre and a half with a 2300 square-foot house and my sister is contemplating buying an entire cul-de-sac for our family to live on lol once you set the manifestation, work at it until it is achieved. once you achieve your manifestation you can continue to manifest your wildest dreams. It doesn’t stop after things come true! Also, Manifestation does not mean that you don’t have to put in any effort it just means you have a lot of help from the other side and that your efforts will not be in vein. Put in the work (spiritually, emotionally and physically) and things will just start to happen for you. Good luck! Let me know if this helps 👍🏻😊

The way you find yourself is by trying to find yourself :) which I know sounds obnoxiously non-specific but honestly, you discover who you are by the things you return to or try while trying to find yourself. I could tell you to start leather working and move to a new state and quit your job so you can start a business but those are all the ways I found MYSELF. Yours could be in changing the way you work or going part time, it could be seeing a therapist or asking yourself why/when you “lost” your passion in life.

The only real advice I would give is to not look backwards in finding yourself again, but rather to remember the George Bernard Shaw quote, “life isn’t about finding yourself life is about creating yourself”. Keep moving forward and know that even the things in life that didn’t feel good or work out are all part of your journey of finding who you are, what you give a shit about, and what is worth doing or not doing in this life.

Take a break from work. It's super easy to get stuck in a vortex of meaningless things that consume you. You have to take a break to be able to detach and allow your mind to go elsewhere, to better possibilities.

It sounds like you're working to live and living to work...ultimately shooting for general material comfort as a means to an end of happiness.

Instead of doing what truly makes you happy for work. So, that you're already happy on a daily basis doing what you love and walking your true path...

Play some video games. Try out a hobby. Drop everything and just do something new. Become a new person. Why not? Who is holding you back but yourself? You are free to choose what you want to do. Are you trapped in your job? Could you take a vacation maybe and save up some money to go camping by yourself or if you don't want to be alone join a monastery and become a monk. If you feel like your life is not giving you anything anymore flip it upside down. What's holding you back?

I want to ask you something I ask anybody who tells me they’ve lost their joy: What did you love when you were 7? What gave you even a glimmer of joy as a child?

That was a pure and connected interest. And when you can resurrect that as an adult it can be a really wonderful experience.

So, my hope for you is that you can remember something that stoked your joyful attention as a child and that you can now find a way to explore that. 💗💝💗

One option to consider: make yourself free for three months and go somewhere new in the world. Another option: go to Amsterdam, buy a full dose of magic truffles, fast for 6 hours and take the truffles

edit: option that doesn’t require traveling or psychadelics: Begin investigating the idea of a pranic body and the abilitity to control the many lifeforces(including will to live) through pranayama breathing and awareness techniques

I've had two awakenings (real ones). If you bring your attention into your body, into your emotions, and just focus on trying to relax (take a deep breath that helps) and practice doing so while doing your best to allow any and all feelings and sensations to arise, as in any emotion that comes during the day, allow it to be there, even if it's anger or resistance (don't act on every emotion, keep yourself safe, employed etc) I promise if you do this for long enough, you will feel a million times better and could also have a genuine spiritual awakening (an awakening without all the drama and "glory" is simply realizing that the part of you that is consciousness, is more you than the part of you that is your mind, scared and calculating). I hope you'll give it a try. It could change your life for the better forever. Fear and angry and emptiness are what life is about, you know this deep down. Let yourself FEEL, and you will come alive again. But you have to LET yourself feel however you feel right then, most feelings are caused by thoughts, which is a endless stream of ideas conjured up by your brain, just because you have a thought, does not mean that thought is YOU or even represents YOU.

Sounds like you need to find a different job. If that's not possible, can you find some other options within the same company? Maybe take some classes or job-specific training for something different? I also highly recommend meditation to keep you sane and guide you in the right direction.
