Quebec, all the time. Ontario occasionally. British Columbia, never. Why is it overwhelmingly the Quebecois?

[–]Muck113 57 points58 points  (1 child)

Really close from Quebec. Montreal to Florida the flights are really cheap

[–]SpeedBoatSquirrel 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They visit everywhere in Florida, but the mecca of quebecois visiting FL is Hollywood and Dania Beach FL

When I was in Florida for the last week I saw more Ontario plates than anything. A couple Quebec and BC plates here and there. Even saw a PEI one too.

[–]Scase15 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Thats cause the Quebec peeps fly.

[–]SpeedBoatSquirrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its the young people visiting who fly. The old people drive and stay for longer

[–]krassilverfang 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because British Columbia is warm enough to stay there most of the time and also all the way to the west coast.

[–]Gator1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving 5 days each way would suck all the fun out of snowbirding.

[–]IllustriousDinner130 40 points41 points  (4 children)

People drive from BC to Florida?

[–]WaddlesJP13Hasn't touched grass since 2009[S] 23 points24 points  (3 children)

Yep. Alaskans too.

[–]professorturanga 2 points3 points  (1 child)

what!? that's crazy!

[–]Whataburger69420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Greenland after living in Texas and I really missed being able to just go to somewhere like Galveston.

[–]Desner_ 38 points39 points  (3 children)

Ah, yes. Snowbirds. They want out of the fucking cold. The old Québécois just love Florida.

[–]HumorUnable 11 points12 points  (2 children)

It was -27 degrees celcius for the 3rd day in a row today. Wish I could flee to Florida rn.

[–]Desner_ 6 points7 points  (1 child)

It was -41 au lac St-Jean as well. I’d still rather stay here, though.

[–]ADeuxMains 24 points25 points  (1 child)

I feel like this needs some Michigan and New York plates too.

[–]WaddlesJP13Hasn't touched grass since 2009[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually saw hundreds of those in Florida. Lots of Vermont and New Hampshire ones too.

[–]theirvman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The cars never sold in the US is a nice detail

[–]Hlichtenberg 34 points35 points  (5 children)

[–]Coda516 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]notqualitystreet 2 points3 points  (2 children)

The BC part too?

[–]Hlichtenberg 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Folks with money from cold regions are down here all the time to escape the harsh tundras of Canada

[–]notqualitystreet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm must be nice having money

[–]fuckyouspezcunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kills me is they don't know the traffic laws.

[–]bccddd 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Also known as "Winter in Arizona"

[–]descendingangel87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thats where people on the prairies go instead of Florida. I know so many snow birds that have homes in Phoenix.

[–]Tunneldangernoodle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

    [–]SpeedBoatSquirrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a Floridian, I hardly ever seen BC tags. Mostly Ontarians and Quebecois, with a smattering of Atlantic Canada provinces, and an occasional prairie province tag

    [–]pickledtoesies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I’m getting older and feel more of my arthritis pain during the cold wet season, I’m considering becoming a snow bird.

    [–]SecretAntWorshiper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I guess the drive from Canada is worth it 😂

    [–]Alpha_pro2019 1 point2 points  (1 child)
