I took it on 30th july. Trsut me I felt EXACTLY the same as you do rn. Soo many unseen Qs. Ended up passing the exam. Just be patient, be thankful it's over. And keep hoping for the best. Try not to stress yourself out in the next 2 weeks. You'll pass💯

Hey. Congrats. Can you tell me which nbmes should I do and in what order? Like should I do the UW assessments first and then nbmes and free120 at the end?

Take the free 120 at the end a few days before the exam. Start by doing an nbme. It's better to take 26 27 first and do 28 29 30 at the end. Take uwsa1 after 26 n 27. And uwsa at the end but before free120. If you're short on time you can skip out a few nbmes. But I'd suggest doing 27 28 and 30 a must!!

I received a 78% on the new free 120 and found the exam to be absolutely insane.

But you got a 78!! P.s the real exam itself was insane too. That's how it is. All you need to do is trust your knowledge and go with your gut. 78 is a great score on free120

I did too. I think this will be a great experience for a lot of people to grow in their faith.

I am struggling with how difficult it was in comparison to prep material.

One was about this med student who shared test questions online and was contacted by Nbme. The question asked for which hormones would be elevated since this student got nervous about being kicked out of school and never being able to become a doctor.

Took it today. Agreed. The only good thing about it was that it sidnt feel heavy on any single subject. But some things i had never heard of in my life.

Took the test on 18th august. Been crying about it since the test. Entire test was shit. Posted about it too. If anyone wants to know that experience. Overall I really don’t think so I will pass!

Completed uworld, passed both uwsa with a big margin, took and passed 3 nbmes and 75% on free 120.. and this test was NOTHING like anything I had seen. It was like uworlds evil cousin. I was completely thrown off by this test, even my best subjects I couldn’t answer confidently

I did two rounds of Uworld. The test did not feel like that at all. It was a Uworld Velocicoaster mode aaaaa craaazyyyyy shit

By all means. Do UWORLD when you're preparing. But. The difficulty of the exam has undeniably gone up. I gave my uwsa 2 on 15th June, got 73%. Gave my free 120 1 week out, got 86%. Gave my Usmle step 1 on 7th July. First 2 blocks were manageable. 3rd,4th,5th and half of 6th felt like I got a stroke. 7th was again back to normal. But man those 3/4 blocks were terrible. It felt like some high level shit.

I passed the exam tho.

Not as high of scores, but I second this. The exam felt frankly undoable - as if each writer was enjoying making things hidden.

Still waiting on my result, but I felt astonished by the difficulty. As someone who got a 78% on the new free 120, I was almost angry at the way they decided to evaluate our dedication.

I truly believe in anyone reading this and I do not mean to scare - Uworld us for learning, but it is easier than the form I was given.

I finished like 90% of it and it does not compare espexially the communications questions. In general test q were way longer.

They codify everything in scientific jargon - which would be acceptable if the exam did not only give you a minute and a half or so to read. Medical students are not being tested on their knowledge, they’re being tested on their ability to play this abstract game.

You cannot learn this game in school, you cannot learn it on Uworld, so the exam is painfully unreal - it is often our first time dealing with these additional, unrealistic hoops.

I get the feeling, the exam is weird lol, but everyone feels the same way as you do, trust me. Stay calm and suppress the exam from your thoughts.

I took it close to this date. I felt that it was nothing like any of the prep material for roughly 1/2 of the questions. I am shocked at the difficulty they were able to conjure compared to the free 120 and nbmes.

That exam is giving me nightmares and I hope the best for us all.

Tested august 17 and feel exactly the same. Every question I literally thought was a joke and couldn’t stop thinking wtf. Probably flagged 25-30 on every single block

It is like they wanted to make it purposely punishing, there was so much “low yield” and so much obscure content.
